when you all go to your appointments and they do bloodwork like for progesterone or estradiol or fsh or amh, do your docs tell you what your levels are? mine havent. I think I'm going to call them and ask for copies of my results so that I can review them.
the portal thing sounds great. do all places have a portal? I'm going to ask. I don't know any results at all. have no clue. I wish they spent more time discussing things w me. going to need to directly ask and get the info.n if no portal them I want copies everytime.
My bbt thermometer is by babymad- sounds about right eh?! Just got it off amazon or eBay, it wasn't expensive but it works great.
Yeah I know what you mean, you just want it over with so you can move onto a new cycle.
I'm good thanks. Had a fairly dark opk today (cd9) which shocked me. I normally get a + cd12/13 so it's a bit early to be so dark. It wasn't positive though. Hopefully it'll stay the same or get a bit lighter over the next day or two.
Ewcm today! Didn't BD yesterday like I wanted, but now that I have definite EWcm I'll make sure we tonight. DH will possiby tell me he's too tired, because he does have to work tomorrow (second week in a row of 6 day weeks) but he'll just have to deal with it.
Etis - I've used two different BBTs. I Can't remember the lst brand I had, I liked it okay, but when it died (at about a year) I switched to one by Easy@Home, and got it off amazon. The end that you stick in your mouth is a little bigger/bulkier (kind of an odd shape so I turn the thermometer sideways in my mouth for a more comfortable experience), but it has some featuers I really like: particularly the memory function where it stores the last 60 temps with easy recall, and a backlight (turns off after 5 seconds when temping so it doesn't keep me awake) and it was only about $20 or less on amazon.
Kat - that's great to hear! So glad things are looking good!

I don't think so. It depends on the office. My last doctor didn't have a portal so I would get my results in the mail or I would have to contact him for them. My current doctor has the portal and it's amazing, but that's my general practitioner. My fertility clinic doesn't have one I don't think so the only thing I can get online is the stuff that is processed through LabCorp (the lab company does have one). If it's processed in their own lab I will have to wait for them to email me the results.
Speaking of which. . . I had my initial bloods taken last week on Wednesday and I've really been anxious to hear about the results. I know the results from the US and the HSG but I want to know my blood levels. :/ Would have hoped to get those by now. I have my next set of bloods and US on Monday morning so I am assuming they'll go over my previous results then. Those were just to get a base line for what everything looks like early in the cycle I think.
Angel FXed for your results, hope you get them soon
star yeah feel free to ask them questions if there's something you don't understand. My REs where always great with answering questions and actually encouraged DH and I to ask about things.
FXed mrs unicorn you get your "Golden Egg" as I call it
AFM thought I'd update: got my Downs risk in and it's 1:4303 It's calculated based on my age (36), levels of PAPP-A and free beta-HCG and the nuchal measurement (1.60 mm). If it was only based on my age, the risk would've otherwise been 1:246.

Thanks for the tip! I was looking at easy @ home reviews on Amazon but was skeptical because so many had the caveat that they got the device free or discounted in exchange for their review. Glad to hear from someone who has used it.
Also congrats on the ewcm!! You better get on that BDing!!
I'm making the best of my AF tonight with some wine, trashy tv, and a heating pad lol. Might as well enjoy the vino while I can
