Anyone TTC #1 and 30 or older?

So just got back from the clinic and I have 3 large follies in my right ovary and 2 small ones on my left:thumbup: They weren't big enough to trigger so I need to continue with Puregon for a few more days on the same dose and come in again on Friday morning so they can see if I'm ready to trigger them.

Had a feeling my right ovary was extra active as I've had more pain twinges from that one:winkwink:

Hi Kat! Glad to hear that you have 5 follies all together this time. Good luck with the Puregon and I hope that you get good news on Friday! FX for you!! :hugs:

Thanks EElse:hugs: I highly doubt that the 2 small ones can catch up so I'm thinking I'll have 3 mature follies for the actual IUI. Which is good because it should increase our chances slightly compared to the 2 I had last time. Also I'm not allowed to have more than 3 mature follies on IUI day anyway or they'll cancel the IUI:wacko:

Oh! Didn't know you're not allowed more than 3 mature follies, so good luck with that and I'll keep my fx that there are 3 mature ones. Good luck! :hugs:

Fleur - he is the only RE in the area so he was the one recommended by a couple doctors

Thanks EElse:flower: They don't allow more than 3 mature follies because of the risks of multiples. They'd prefer you not to get pregnant with any more than 3 babies I guess. The chances are extremely low but they don't want to risk it:shrug:

Yay Kat!!! That's great news! Fx'd for this round- I have a good feeling!!!

Fleur- How's your cycle coming? Your chart looks great from here! Definite strong shift in temps.

Fingers crossed, Kat! Hoping for good news!
I am just hoping my doctor can do some kind of tests next Wednesday when I go in. Cd51 now, with no AF in sight. Would love some sort of boost to reset my body.

Mrs. Tigger, I am very inspired by your weight loss journey. It is not an easy thing to do. I could definitely stand to lose some weight myself, I'm trying to eat healthier and work out, got my fitbit. No major success story yet, though.

Thanks Praying:flower: I hope you're right, I could really use that BFP about now:winkwink:

Hope you and you're 2 bundles are feeling well:flower:

They are great! Saw them again yesterday and they are WILD, so out of control. One was doing jumping jacks and the other was spinning on his/her head. Took a long time for them to calm down enough so the tech could get some pics-I attached them if anyone feels like making any gender guesses :flower: Baby B is on top and Baby A is in the single pic.

I am not so great. But I am very thankful to be sick as crazy as it sounds. It's like a constant 24/7 reminder that things are alright

dede, oops, I meant “how did you find him” in the sense “how did you get along with him”, I wasn’t very clear.

Yay Kat, that sounds very promising! Hoping this will be your month.

Praying, hello! Uh don’t pay any attention to my chart, this month is just a test run. I’m not doing well with temping, I keep waiting up at different times during the night so the temps aren’t accurate. Fertility Friend is totally confused as well haha. How are you and the babies doing?

TexMel, hope the doctor will give you something to kickstart AF. You must be so fed up :hugs:

Oh, cross-posted! Beautiful pics, awww. Can't see any gender clues but I'll say girl for Baby A :haha: Are you hoping for any particular gender/s? Good luck with the sickness.. it is good to know that things are progressing well but still yucky.

Praying: Don't know if I dare to guess:winkwink: Based on your description it sounds like 2 wild boys but don't know if that's based on a general bias, they could just as well be 2 wild girls or one of each:haha: But great to see those pics:happydance:

I'm looking forward to feeling sick :haha: Sure hope it happens soon.

Although I can't decide if the fact I can't trigger after my 2nd U/S like I could for IUI #1 bodes well or not:-k We'll see, here's hoping I definitely can trigger after Friday's U/S :happydance:

Fleur- I think you are doing fine if you just see a shift in the general pattern. Until I started Clomid, I never saw such a clear shift, so I think my ovulations were just weak. Yours looks pretty clear! And the temps keep rising! I almost never temp'd at the same time because DH had a pretty random morning schedule so I'd always wake up at different times. I had so much "fun" with FF- it just gave me something to analyze and obsess over, though I do trust the science behind it since it was spot on in guessing my O day this time around (based on bloods and ultrasound confirmation) I would say keep it up, you'll get the hang of it, but maybe you won't need to! :flower:

I would love to have a boy and a girl, just in case this is it for us, but I just hope they are healthy at this point.

Kat- my mom said the same thing. It is Baby B's "thing" to do jumping jacks (she saw B doing them on a previous scan) and commented the same thing... "well, that must be a boy..." :haha: A is always sleeping when it's picture time, yesterday was an exception, so who knows. Their heart rates are still coming down from maxing out at 185, so that old wives tale doesn't apply yet- they were both in the 170's yesterday while being super active. I think their skulls look different which is supposed to be a way to tell, though I don't know which one indicates which, but I guess different is good in this situation!

I think it still bodes well! They offered me a trigger after seeing the three follies, but they were borderline as far as being as big as they like to see them, so I just let nature run it's course and didn't use the trigger. I didn't end up ovulating for another week (CD 23) and it was completely fine! Maybe letting them "bake" a bit longer is a good thing! I hope it will be anyway! :flower:

Good to hear Praying. Glad things are well. Congrats to any new bfps since I left the chat.... I just was noticing I got down on myself a lot after reading some posts. I live in an area where most houses go for at a minimum of 350,000 for a fixeruper with no space up to multimillion dollar houses so chances are I will never buy a house at least here and the closest big cities are scary for me to think about raising a baby in. I started using smoothies in the mornings instead of cereal and it helped with my energy levels and mood a lot... definitely would recommend it. This cycle I decided to just throw TTC to the wind and have fun. We had a couple of coctails and then bd a few early days of my fertile window and then again on o day and a couple days later as I was still having ewcm.
So my period was due today- no sign of it. I have not had my usual pre menstrual spotting or anything that would suggest I am going to start my period but other than a couple days where I wanted peperoncinis (sp? banana peppers) and burgers, a bit more of a pouch on my belly and a sudden inability to sleep through the night ( I now wake up at least 1 or 2 times a night just cause I can't sleep and then another couple of times to pee) leading to a couple of headaches I really have not had any symptoms of pregnancy. I am wondering if this is normal or if I should worry??? I will be taking a test to confirm tomorrow but as I always have the spotting and have known in the back of my mind each other month that with the spotting I was not pregnant, I have a feeling I am I am just worried with the lack of text book symptoms. Any advice????

Oh maybe Baby B is a boy and Baby A is a girl then if we're going to go by the old gender standards:winkwink: It'll be fun to find out, when will you find out? I would hazard a guess that the one with the slightly larger skull is a boy.

OK let's hope it goes the same way for me then:happydance: Although I would prefer to trigger so my IUI is timed well according to when they expect me to O, just to increase my chances more. I'm hoping that the slower maturation means that they'll be extra good quality and fertilize easily and be extra sticky beans :happydance:

Fluer ha ha - I see now. I liked him. He seemed knowledgeable and had time to talk to us.

Praying - my guess is one of each! So exciting! I have twin nephews and they are a blast!
