I think I might try to get a hold of my doc to see if there is anything I can take to level out my cycle and get things working the way they should. I don't even think I ovulated this month.

Welcome to the group everyone!! I hope we all get our BFP'S this cycle!!!

Hello ladies. I see nobody has been lucky so far. I'm sorry. Just wante to give everyone a quick update
Afm I had the lapband surgery done last Wednesday to help with my weight loss. It's hard to admit I need help but with the pcos and everything weighing agains me I felt like this is what I needed. I started eating better 2 weeks prior to that and haven't had sweets in 22 days which is huge for me. I'm down 10lbs since the last time I checked. With all my efforts of losing weight I'm hoping that this will make things easier when we decide to conceive again! Not really sure exactly when that will be but hopefully not too long! I still wish u guys the best of luck and I'm hoping for some bfps soon!!!
Welcome to all the newbies as well! Hope it doesn't take u guys long either!!!

Aww congrats about the 10 pounds!! I put on 9 pounds due to stress from trying!!! I think once you start working out and lose even more weight you will get pregnant asap!!!! Good luck with everything!!!

Hi Ladies! Total newbie here. I am 28 and ttc #1. There is a large age gap between my husband and me (he is 40) which potentially makes me a bit worried...but he is quite healthy so I'm hopeful that things will go smoothly. I've just come off bc but I've already gotten a true visit from AF so we'll see what happens now! Good luck to all of you!

Welcome to the group!!! My best friend is 25 and her husband is 39 and she got pregnant her second month of trying!! And her husband used to smoke for years!! So don't worry about the age difference!! It means nothing for the men! lol and good luck!!! :)

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to pop on and give everyone an update and see what's new with everyone here, I went to my doctor to see if there was a reason I was struggling to get pregnant, and low and behold I have not ovulated since I have been TTC... so I guess that kind of explains it lol... I have an appointment on Feb 13 to see the fertility specialist here in town so hopefully he can figure out exactly whats causing it and find a solution, my doctor was talking fertility drugs but when he mentioned the risk of 8 babies i had a mild heart attack haha... lets hope its an easy fix and i will be on my way to a :bfp: very soon! :dust: to all!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

Hey hun!!! Does the doc want to give you clomid? I heard that helps a lot with ovulation!!! I hope not 8 babies hahaha!!! Maybe over time though lol!!!

For me, the doctor said nothing is wrong with me, I did all the tests and I am normal.

BUT my DH got a SA and the doc said my husbands sperm count and motility are normal but the morphology was 2% and normal guys are around 14%. He said there are at-home remedies to try like eating better, exercise, vitamins specifically made for him, more sleep, blah blah....Luckily we have only been trying for 6 months and we are both 25 so I do have some time. The doc also said if we did the IUI our chances raise to 50% which was better than the 10% he said would happen if we did it natural. He thinks it could of been just a bad batch of sperm too, so he said we could do the IUI right away, after DH does another SA test...or wait a few months 6-8 weeks, try all the things I listed before, get a SA and see the results. My husband is in the middle of getting a new job so we decided that we should try this method. I am currently in the TWW. So he is eating better, exercising more and taking the vitamins...if nothing by March he will get a SA and we will do our first round of IUI in April. We figured this would give us enough time to save money for maybe just 2-3 times of IUI after that we would consider IVF or adoption. I am just so nervous with IVF and cost, I am leaning more towards adoption but that's hard too because I want to birth a baby, ya know? So just praying and hoping we can do this naturally or an IUI works!!!

Baby dust to all of you ladies!!! :) :dust::dust:

Its good news that the doc said there is nothing wrong with you, DH having a small issue is a much easier thing to overcome then if the issue were with you, I bet you the IUI will work, I just have a feeling.... I can't wait to see the BFP message from you... i have a feeling it is coming soon for you. GL and FX!
