Hey girls.
How is everyone???

Marissa slept through the night again last night. She had a bottle @ 10:30 and boob @ 1am then she slept until 7am.

I have to find a job. Long story short DH's ex-wife is a dead beat mom who never cared for their daughter and abandoned her at her grandmother's when Jessica was 3 yr. old, now Child Support Services is garnishing DH's small paycheck for back pay. They say he owes $33,000 and Jessica is almost 20. Jessica went and talked to the case worker and now they garnished DH's pay check today. I told him I will work and he can stay home with Marissa (we only have 1 car). I feel like I could Is it wrong for me to feel this way????

Kelly.. Yep I keep trying her at the breast and she just gets so frustrated and screams the house down! Not nice when it is 4am and this isn't our house

Last night it got to half 8 ish and OH still wasn't awake and Amelia had finally settled down so I decided to go to bed too.. but first I needed to sterilise my pump and some bottles in the microwave steriliser, so I did so.. went to take the steriliser out and it slipped out my hand and all the boiling hot water scalded my arm and hand. It was agony and still blooming hurts now.. I was crying for ages and ages..

On the plus side it made OH realise how tired and stressed out I am becoming doing 90% of everything on my own.. so he helped with the night feeds, she had a feed at 10.30pm and then slept through until 4.30! ..

She is definitely a daddies girl, after her 4.30 feed she took literally 5 minutes to settle and go back to sleep.. if that had been me she would've been awake for an hour afterwards at least!!

Lalala I'm happy and I'm not ranting!! Lalala

aw ash sorry to hear bout ur arm hun hope its gettin better, make sure u keep putting a cold compress on it, even now!!
Glad OH is helping out more now it really does make a difference when there is 2 ppl doesnt it!!

Jeffswife- I cant believe that, surely its not his fault and they shud see that and not take the whole let and arrange something!! How nice of you to offer to go back to work tho...really supportive of you!!

Im going for lunch today with ma mamma shud be interestin with Arianna lol!! xxx

Aww lunch out sounds nice! .. The weather is starting to brighten up here, if it continues to I may venture out for a bit of a walk with my little princess, feeling very cooped up at the moment!!

morning everyone!

We had a great sleep last night, Coop went down at 12.30 and didn't wake again until 6am, such a clever little man.

Chas, thats awful. The system always seems to get the wrong people yet there are millions of people fiddling it and get away with it.

Mandy -day 5 was my worst day, get through today and things get better and better.

Coop and I are off for a walk with the dog, my SIL and my niece Brooke who's 2 1/2. The men are going to thrash it out on the squash court whilst we lap up the sunshine. I adore this weather.

im still in hospital one more night here and thankfully have breastfeeding down to a fine art but i suck at winding lol

ava has gained lots of wiegh and is starting to be too for new born which sucks cos we havent even been home to wear any of hr pressies

I am envious of everyone that can breastfeed

Had the health visitor come round today, I expected a witch but she seemed really nice. Amelia was sound asleep whilst she was here so she is coming back on Tuesday to weigh her and what not.

Still feeling quite down today about breastfeeding.. I keep feeling sorry for myself and thinking Grrr why?!?! I keep blaming myself for having flat nips even though a million people have told me it isn't my fault

ash dont stress, its not your fault at all, my SIL couldnt feed and was getting so stressed about it, baby was losing too much weight so she switched to formula and hasnt looked back.

Awww hannah was getting worried abt you. well don bf! Ash don't beat yourself up have you tried little excercises for getting nips to stand out. I do't know what they are but have heard people doing it to help. I guess involves pinching or something, lol.

Yeah chel, someone else told me about the last read post bit from march mummies and wow I was sooo happy! lol.

Well our pram wheel broke weds so was not happy and completly gutted I have a gorgeous coach build silver cross pram and I'm sooo proud of it and love pushing it around, well we replaced the wheels cos the old ones were a bit worn and on of the big ones broke after four flippin weeks! The pram and chassis is 25 + yrs old and abs fine, completly adorable. And a new wheel breaks in four weeks. GRRRR. Anyway so I don't have a pram, I went on a frantic rampage at the school asking people if they ahve a spare one I could borrow as I simoly could not bear to be stuck in when this weekend is suppost to be soo gloriously sunny. So I've had tp put her in a forward facing mclaren buggy and I don't like it, I love being able to see my babygirl, and it actually hurts my back to push cos there's not enough weight on it. I have to wait however for the new replacement to come in the post, and now no post until at least tues, so gawd knows when I'll actually get it. So frustrating too cos have a M&P pramette at my Mums hse but shes miles away and was being kept their for eiether one of us; me or my sis visits and needs it. BUt by time it gets here, the wheel will prob arrive same as ordering one online for a spare buggy for future. (I quite like the loola's, but they go for quite a bit of money!)

I think Olivia is a bit under the weather, we've all been ill in the house terrible sore throats, and colds. Mine has evolved to really sore conjunctivitus and a horrible cough and raspy voice, but she's very restless and noisy so think maybe she's not feeling quite right. We brought her new cot (bed) an she was fine in it for first two nights but today she's not settling in it, she'd rather be on my bed, so think might be in for a hard night as I'm gonna try so hard to not give in and make her sleep in cot.

Oh Olivia was weighed today and weighs in at 10lb 4 oz wozers lol but HV said she's abs fine and it's no prob her eating 5 oz every three hours even if it is hungry baby milk she says she's not putting on too fast so it's not a problem.

Sammie, hey essex not far from me, let me know if you move lol. And tesco's do great clothes for tiny babies, lol they do a tiny baby size and they're newborn is quite small too. I know they're not in them for long but I sooo prefer baby's in clothes and been told it helps sleep pattern too, clthes daytime and babygros night. It's not so bad at tesco's good prices, I think I brought her two pairs of trousers for 2 quid, and 2 tops for another 2 quid. lol I have stopped buying newborn size now and now getting 0-3 months lol. I'm a nightmare.

Anyway I hope everyone is well, mummies and babies doing fine. xxx
