Oh gosh that is silly!!

I'm sat here trying to find somewhere that Dan and I can afford to rent.. it is so hard and it is all so expensive Grrr Damn the council being so rubbish!!

This house is so full of tension, I've spent all day in my bedroom because the weather has been too rubbish to go out and everyone else is arguing!!

how much are they?

Compared to down south they are sod all..

For a 2 bed we are looking at £450 a month plus £90 council tax + bills

And if Dan had no debts then we would easily be able to afford it..

But Dan earns £800ish a month and approx £500 of that goes on his debts and bills.

And he is still waiting for his work to tell him if they are keeping him permanent because at the moment he is still on a temporary contract.

If we could get a council place soon we would be paying about £280 a month rent plus council tax and bills!!

Oh being grown up is sooo much fun!!

ashy why dont you get your mum to write a letter to the council saying shes kicking you out?

She already has and they told me they would have to put us in temporary accommodation.. basically a big block of flats which we would have to pay for (And council tax and bills)

And we were thinking about it until she told us everyone in this temporary accommodation is on benefits and gets all their rent etc etc paid for and the area this block is in is full of druggies and what not.

lol i know what you mean tho, theres areas i know of renowned for druggy chavvy people

maybe ask to be put into a mother and baby hostel, it will spend up with the processes, but dan can only stay round 3 nights a week

That wouldn't work because Dan would then have to move back to worksop and wouldn't be able to afford the petrol to go to work everyday.

I really do understand why people go onto benefits, there can be so many perks to it.

God Amelia has been feeding off me all day, she had a 2 hour sleep earlier 12.30 - 2.30 and has been awake and feeding basically ever since waking up!!

And now she wants more.. This is what makes me worried that I'm not giving her enough!

hun i was put in tempoary accomadation for 3 months un til i got the place where i am now (permanent) and it was more than worth the wait...plus they wouldt leave you there for a long time with a LO....the way i see it is once you close your front door it doesnt matter what goes on around you?

i pay 775 a month and 118 council tax
and im in a 2 bed!!
bah!

aww ashy the council were shit with us
too we had to rent privately ...
only way we could do it ...
go to cab and get the debts looked at
and then ask the council for their
rent in advance scheme and hopefully
you can then get housing benefits and
what not we're living on our benefits coz
jasons pay only covers the rent, tax and
basic things ....
