I think I'm out this month. We've barely BDd and I never even felt ovulation cramps. Don't know if I just didn't care or if things will be delayed. We bury my nephew tomorrow.

I am happy because a new cycle means a new chance to try again with negative tests for 2 weeks I was pretty sure I was out...

Hi ladies, sorry for the late reply. My IUI went well. It actually hurt which was odd. At first it felt like a normal pap smear and then as he was inserting the catheter my uterus starting cramping and it kinda pinched. Doc said that the catheter went in nice and smooth and there wasn't any issue, it only lasted like 3 minutes.

I cramped all day yesterday. I went to bed at 9 and was still cramping 12 hours later! I also had a massive migraine. UGH. It was a happy, exciting, painful, annoying, relaxing day. lol. The TWW is here.

Thanks for the advice and listening. It's nice being able to talk about this with others who have been through it, are going through it.

Yeah, just kind of bummed we most likely missed it. Which I knew that I was going to feel that way even though it was the choice we made together. Sometimes more important things happen in life and it just happened to be during my fertile days. What I do know is that I will never regret being there 100% for my sister. She needed me and if that means postponing my wants, so be it.

I guess I'm not 100% out because we did get 2 sessions in, but at least I won't be super let down when AF shows

Ok, so you can disregard that post. I am out and so relieved. Cd 1 today, I'll have to use OPKs since that cycle was only 17 days. Ready to start over and kind of glad I don't waste a full 29 day cycle.

You are right, things happen that change our focus briefly, but i believe for the best. A sister bond is immeasurable and you should have zero regrets for your decision. A fresh start this month for you guys as time begins to heal. Wish we were closer so we could grab a coffee

I would love that. His name was Ashyr. How has your cycle been so far? When are you planning to test? Did you guys like the preseed?

Pre seed is going. Is another thing that seems to kill the mood, but if it works who cares. I have to use MUCH less than said because it is super slippery and overload for us. He says he doesn't like it because it eliminates foreplay for me. However, he finishes much quicker than without it
I am not testing until 5/18. I always test early and get disappointed. We'll see.

Yeah, it's interesting to say the least. We use less too. My app averaged out my cycles and AF should be due 5/21, but who knows! Lol. I guess we'll just BD every other day just to be safe! should be much easier this month!

So we're finsihing our 2 week stint. Saturday is our last day. As for other news...my brothers biopsy came back in the 15% of being benign!!! It was a very aggressive, but benign spermical tumor. they still suggest a full body scan due to aggresion, but insurance denied him due to results. His doctor is fighting it. The tumor grew 3cm in 4 days!!! For now we are satisfied. how is every body else doing? Khigg?

JJbubbles, that is GREAT news! So happy to hear it! I feel like we need some good news on this forum. I can't believe insurance is denying him a full body scan, so ridiculous! Glad you have a doctor that is willing to fight them on it.

Khigg, glad you're on a new cycle. Sounds like you're planning to TTC?

ASM, finally getting a touch of nausea and dealing with some other unpleasant pregnancy symptoms, but still generally feel the same. Easy to forget that I'm pregnant except the massive amount of sleep my body is demanding.

Yup, we are officially back to ttc I took my sister out to lunch and we both had to use the bathroom, so I used that time to talk to her about me being on my period and how relieved I was. She was confused because she knew dh and i had been trying and made sure to know that I have her blessing! we'll always live with the pain of losing him, so if I were to announce a pregnancy in 3 weeks, 3 months, or 3 years it will still bring up those memories.

Jjbubbles, that is great news. I hope he gets a full body scan just for peace of mind
