***April Sweet Peas*** 204 Babies

im awaiting my appointment on monday to see if i need to be induced as they think i have pre eclampsia also my liver levels are pretty high as well. :(

what are your protein and BP levels?

OOooo everything crossed

So as for me my BP and protein are up and they are now saying I do have preeclampsia. I had the choice of being admitted today or doing another 24 hr urine sample so am doing that now instead and back into tomorrow to discuss what to do. Might have my baby next week!

Boo to pre-eclampsia but yay to maybe meeting flump next week!! Let us know how you get on tomorrow x

Well I totally knackered myself out today. Left at 10am for a 20 minute walk to the leisure centre, then an hour of aquanatal. Then on the bus to town for 2 hours of shopping. Back on the bus to the surgery to see my midwife (all good still and baby is 4/5ths engaged!). Then back on the bus and a 10 minute walk back home.

I've collapsed now and I bet I pay for it tomorrow but after 3 weeks of feeling shite I really enjoyed feeling normal for a day!

Good luck mommyof3girls! I hope you don't get to read this for ages because you're too busy with your beautiful wee girl!! :hugs:

It's my last day of work today!!! :happydance:
I can't believe I've survived this long - I wouldn't have been able to if I hadn't been working from home 3 days a week, that's for sure. It's funny, coz I've been so looking forward to finishing and now that it's here I'm feeling a bit weird about it. I will feel really cut-off from things for a while...

Hospital appointment is on Monday, when I'll find out when they'll do the section. I hope it's really soon - I am certainly keen to get Stinky outta there!

Wow alot of us are having are bubs early arent we.

Have I missed mummof3's post or has she not been back yet, maybe she didn't come home and is having her baby right now.

I hope neitehr of you have pre-eclampsia it's not nice, so all the best to you!

As for 4/5ths enagegd at 35 OMG, thats really good, well on the way to the exit!

Me, bubs been a bit quiet today tbh, am seeing how things go, cos my belly seems to have shrunk too! Not quite sure how to wake it up!

I'm back. The dr. said that I'm still only 1 and half cm dilated so he could not break my water. Now I have to wait until I go on my own or april 5th. I left the hospital really upset I thought for sure that today was the day.

my protein is between ++ and +++
and bp is 160/90 between 180/104

but my other reason for maybe being induced is my liver results .....normal range even in pregnancy is meant to be 30-40 but mine are 114 and rising so far. got my repeat bloods and urine tommorrow and monday is verdict day.

Aww :hugs: That really sucks. Well, let's hope that little lady in there gets things moving for you really soon.

I agree that 3/5 at 35 weeks is awesome. When I was checked on Tuesday the doctor gave me a -3/5. I guess he doesn't want to drop down yet! haha

I'm 35 weeks 4 days today and seeing the consultant re: VBAC again at 4pm today. Still keeping my fingers crossed that he says we're still on track for VBAC, but don't think I'd be too bothered if he said we had to have a C-SEC 2 weeks early...

Hubby has found out this week that today is his last day of "employed" work, but there is another 3-4 weeks cash work if he wants it... Basically, the people he's working for can't afford the wages, so have offered all the blokes part-wages but cash-in-hand etc. He's still undecided what to do, as it means he can't make a claim for any benefit until the cash work has ended, but by doing that he'd leave us short for money when we actually really need it! On the plus side though, his last day of work would be the Friday before we're due on the Monday. He'd be home with us and able to spend plenty of time with Harry and little bug :) We'll get it all sorted somehow financially and it'll be fine!

For those who don't know, I used to do a lot of horse riding and now that I can't ride due to pregnancy I've been following a group on Facebook about Gypsy Vanner Horses (Google them - They're lovely!!)... Anyway, yesterday on the group someone posted a pic of the latest foal to be born at their stables - Her name is SFG Lady Bug (our pet-name for our little one) and her sire/dad is called Sir Keith (my hubby's name is Keith) - How freaky is that!!! Sorry, I'm sure this is off-topic and not of that much interest to some of you, but just thought it was quite odd that the names were so closely linked etc.

How is everyone today?

I'm feeling a little better and was going to take Harry to the park, but it's decided to spit with rain :( So instead Harry's busy watching In The Night Garden, bless him! Little bug is VERY active today, which is lovely :)

Hi girls

Not been on here for quite a bit. In and out of hospital for bloods and monitoring. My BP went silly and have been on tablets for a few weeks now. But also my liver function was raised 3 consecutive times and so had tests for PET. Luckily today the levels have dropped although my BP has gone up again so the consultant has upped my tablet dosage.
On a good note LO is STILL active as ever and he weighed in at 5lb3:happydance:

I have to go back on monday for blood tests and BP again and to get my regular consultants opinion on what next!

The midwife there said that I would not be pregnant after the 20th April!!!

Sooooo getting closer and more real for us all eh???!!!! I cannot wait now, feels like I have been pregnant forever!

Saw the consultant yesterday, still on track for a VBAC!! She's booked me in for sn elective section at T+11 in case I need it but I've got everything crossed I'll be cancelling!

I'm so uncomfortable tonight!! Hubby and I :sex: even though I was so not in the mood, I was hoping maybe it would get something going. Since we did I've had crazy pressure down below but no contractions. Hopefully its helping me dilate a bit more or something though :) I have my next dr appt Monday if I'm still pregnant then :) My last 2 babies were 37 weekers so all along I thought this one would be but I'm starting to wonder now! He might be stubborn!

Great news about the VBACs!

I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself. I am in a lot of pain with the SPD and feeling a great deal of pressure down below too. I also get an odd scratching like sensation down there when I walk to the bathroom, very strange. BHs had died down but seem to have picked up again overnight and especially this morning and due to the combination of BHs and SPD pain, have already cried once and only been up for 1.5 hours.

We had another birth and there are two more on the way.

As for me Miss Kinleigh is still cooking. My OB dr is on vacation and I'm now in freak out mood.

Congrats on the VBAC news ladies!

KimmyJane84, that's some pretty big news to take in so close to your due date, but it sounds like you're both ok with it and things will work out in the end, so that's good!

WhosThatGirl, sorry to hear the deed didn't work, but maybe it'll set things off for you in the next few days? I can't even imagine having sex with my husband at this point, LOL

Aw MrsGlitz, sounds like you're having a rotten time of it at the moment between the two things...be good to yourself, have a nice bath or do something nice for yourself and get lots of rest.

Mommyof3girls, I'm surprised to see you back on here so soon! I was sure you'd be induced and have your baby now...so they cancelled it cause the doc is on vacation or is it because of how far along you were dilated when you went in?

Mrs Raggle, it's funny how one can get these massive bursts of energy and then just collapse, lol..sounds like you have a good productive day though.. I get those bursts occasionally and clean something, then spend a couple days or so recovering, lol

Yay for mat leave Freya'sMum...it can definitely feel a bit cut off from things to leave work like that alright. Be sure to get out and visit friends or things like that so you don't feel like you've gone from one extreme to the other!

I second the boo on pre-eclampsia....

Sabriena, how do they tell the engagement thing? I've heard ladies on here talk about being 2/5s engaged, etc.. but I don't really know what that means and how they ascertain that?

I haven't dilated anymore and he did not want to induce me and be unable to be there for the delivery so now I have to sit and wait.
