at 7dpo I was having so many symptoms and so decided to do a clear Blue +/- test, it came up straight away as a convincing faint positive, no squinting or tweaking needed. My cervix remained high since OV time and AF got me 2 days early, Hope you all get your BFP but dont rely on Clear blue tests. All other tests looked negative to the the eye but when tweaked it showed a possible Positive. So from now on I am only testing just before AF and if it doesnt look positive to the eye in real life im going to take it as a negative! :hugs:

:hugs: Sorry the witch got you hun... Unfortunately blue dye tests are famous for giving false results.

Good luck for this new cycle :dust:

Thanks hun, i know i have had them before but it was always after the time limit but this time it came up straight away and the pic was taken straight after i peed on it so guess that fooled me never again. Thanks hunni xxx

aw hunni i am sorry that AF came i was sure i saw lines

:hugs::hug::hug:

Aww better luck next time. I saw it in the other thread and was convinced it was a BFP for you xx

Sorry! I don't like them either! Hope you get your bfp soon!

That's a horrible evap falseie hunni thanks for sharing tho xxx

Could be what we call a chemical hun where the egg doesn't stick but fertilises, so sorry. I've never got an evap on a cb (it's my test of choice to be honest and I done them all) some women have natural higher HCG and that can cause false positives on a very sensitive test. Hope next month is your month :hugs:

Am so sorry the witch got you. How awful to get a false positive like that.

Bloody blue dye tests should be removed from the market.

:hugs:

sorry this has happened to you too. i got what i was certain were bfps on clearblue a couple of months ago. they came up in the time limit but were thin lines. i retested 2 days later again with clear blue(didnt realise then they are renound for false positives) and although it was bfn within the time limit within an hour or two a very convincing line had appeared. this happened to me twice in a row. so i had 4 clearblue tests from different boxes from different shops all with a line on. Af arrived on time. wierd. il never know if it was a chemical pregnancy or bad tests but i would never use clearblue again just in case il try to post the pics i put them on here at the time.

actually...i love to get an opinion from others on whether they were probably evaps or chemical. has anyone else had evaps that bad in a row? i know this may sound silly but i in a way im hoping it was a chemical because then at least i know i can still get pregnant...??

Thanks everyone thats responded! Anna, I really dont think so im sorry to say. This has happened to be on other blue dye tests too, not only that after I did the clear blue test the same day I did other tests and they were all definate BFN:( I really hope you get your BFP soon and get your lil bubs lots of love xxx

When we were trying for our DS I had a false positive on a CB, then I did a FRER because I'd read on here that CB are famous for false positives and the FRER was a clear BFN. AF got me that month as scheduled! This time I did a store brand blue dye (it was cheaper than FRER) and the first one was negative but the next day on the second test I could really see a faint line, then did an FRER and it was BFN. 2 days later I got my BFP on a FRER so who knows if this blue dye one was just more sensitive or it was another false positive. I always back it up with a FRER just to confirm as I don't trust blue dyes now.

awww hunni, sorry the witch got you...thats a horrible false positive, if i had that i'd be sure it was a bfp :hugs:

They look so positive, my gosh, I would be surprised if it wasn't a chemical...I dont use clearblue often but i have used it and never had anything like that
