They've begun painting!

Im so excited I keep wandering in but they keep shooing me back out.

My husband left me while I was pregnant with our first so I had no choice but to paint ds1 nursery alone. I managed it all at 8 months pregnant including doing the ceiling and glossing a rocking chair I just kept the windows open to help the air flow through and no problems at all

You're a lot stronger than me. I dont know how I would of survived without SO. Though I imagine if thats the only choice then you have to pull on the big girl britches.


Im very lucky with the hand I had been dealt with this pregnancy.

My dad lol

He keeps SO on his toes. It kinda helps that since hes missing part of his leg that SO really needs to step up and do more than his fair share of working.


Of course; still cant leave SO alone with paint for a moment.

Update!


So, theres some white that needs to be covered and then another coat but that is for tomorrow. Either way, super stoked.

Thank you all.
We're going to do the touch ups tomorrow and then the final coat. Once its nice and dry I get to deep clean it and finally set up the crib and decorate!

I dont have a place for him to sleep other than in his crib, unless you count the pack and play, and I really dont want him in our bed. SO is an extremely heavy sleeper who tends to roll and elbow me in the face at times. So I reaaaally dont want baby in bed, lol


I just have one more coat of paint left for the door and debating on painting the closet door green. Right now I just love the blue and green of the walls. Reminds me of a toy box, lol.
