i havnt really found any of the lists ive found very helpful to be honest, the one pippin posted is the best ive seen,
most of the lists say about 6 - 8 of sleepsuits, vests etc but ive at least doubled that,
and ive also found alot of them to have things on id find quite unnessasary (sp?)
let me know if you find a good one :) xx

I ditched the numbers party cos lets face it you'll never stick to it and we'll never know till the little one arrives anyway. I'm not buying masses of clothes as you'll get given loads and everyone has warned me you'll not need a lot really. I have the basic nappy stuff and cotton wool only for the first month as it's not good to use wipes until after then. Also in the bath we can't use oils and such till 6 weeks so really it's just the basics we'll need for a while then I think I'll be glad to get out and buy a few more bits.

If you register on the HiPP baby club website, they have a really good list.
Someone posted on here some time ago, so maybe search for it (I think shadowrat typed it in here) - there is a baby list and a hospital bag list
that's one of my faves, although I've still adapted it for myself.

Ok, here you go, I've found it.
By the way, the NHS pregnancy book has a good list in it too.

I hate these lists. (Not the ones you girls have posted, just in general! lol) So i got together about 10 different ones, plus opinions from people of what they couldnt have lived without/ could have done without and made my own.

Its not as long as half of the lists i've seen around, and im finding it so much easier to get it all the way i've done it.

I would post it but its a spreadsheet and mucks up on here :(

I personally went through the mothercare/baby r us books and looked at things i thought i'd need and put it in a list. E.g Feeding : Steriliser , bottles ,bibs etc etc Then moved onto the bathing , travel ,nursery , clothes - and expanded on all of those. :)

Then checked my things against a few bits on internet for extra ideas. x
