Beach Bump Graduates!

Haha no fair, how come girls get to wear boyish things but not the other way round? ;)

I lust after sooo many baby girl clothes. But I don't think Leo will ever forgive me if I tried putting him in them, lol.

LOL that reminds me of my friend- her little boy will only take MAM dummies but they'd ran out of them in blue- he's now sporting a rather cool pink 'supermodel' one :haha:

Oh loving the fleeces and waterproofs! We have a jojo coming to town soon! I'm not buying the warm stuff yet until I know how big she will be when the cold weather comes in. She is still fitting into tiny baby and newborn at the moment!

Simmy - you are right its very unfair on boys! I saw a blue one of these that I thought was really cute for a boy:

Hope everyone is good!
BV - loving the Jill photos - totally a cutie!

well have just about survived a week on my own (technically Greg has been coming home each night but so late we haven't seen him and gone early). Belle is asleep for now thankfully and I've enjoyed a glass of wine. She has been grouchy this week - lots of screaming while BF - don't know if its wind or growth spurt or what really. Trying to hope it improves. I'm hoping its not the colocynth granules but I might stop her taking them now just in case.

Had a nice day - spent 4 hours with one of my nct friends which was nice - lunch and a long walk. Have a packed day tomorrow - watching the rugby, seeing the daycare centre next door, then viewing our professional photos (taken at 2 weeks). Hope they are good. Then in the evening once our LO is in bed we are having a date night in and I have bought steaks. I thought it would be better to eat in and dress up (ish) than having the stress of eating out and having her scream.
Then on Sunday I am having a facial to hopefully clear my spotty face. Looking forward to that!

No other news I don't think. Just looking forward to having Greg home really!
Hope you all have a good weekend! :)

Oh and Doods this is my playmat:

https://www.mamasandpapas.com/product-magic-stargaze-playmat-stripe/759482710/type-i/

Its expensive but she LOVES it! Plus it was a present so cost us nada!

Seriously love that playmat hann! just as well it was a gift :) Love the oliver bonas outfit too - thanks!

HOW do you manage to do so much in a day?! Seriously I only plan like one thing because it exhausts me and it's always such an operation! lol.

Oh and well done on surviving the week alone, you must feel relieved and proud!

Tonight we had an NCT girls night in and one of the girls' houses - pizza and wine, plus all 7 of us with 7 babies. You'd have thought it would be mayhem but it was fun! I fed Leo and stuck him upstairs in a quiet room and he was good as gold. Bless him. He roared all the way home in the car but as soon as he'd had his milk he was just fine. Meanwhile Paul is out having a night out with the NCT lads - all the wives had encouraged the boys to go out and 'bond' - felt so funny, like I was telling a little boy to be nice to the other kids in his class. Anyway he's not home yet so i think this is a good sign! I really want him to have a nice night out.

We're not up to much tomorrow but I SERIOUSLY need a haircut - that will be tomorrow's mission!

Hope everyone else is well, yay for the weekend :D

Simmy that sounds likeva really fun night. We were the same with our boys too - getting them out together and hoping they get on okay. Boys always get on though and clearly he must have had fun to be back late!

Greg got back just after 3 and has slept in the spare room again. Annabelle slept from 8pm -5am yes an impressive 9 hours! Record time! However I didn't goto bed until midnight so her good sleeping has had minimal impact. I hope she does it again!

That's incredible Hann. I wouldn't have gone to bed til late either - we need our own time too! Wow Greg must be shattered too, sounds like a long week for him. I'm so jealous of A's long sleeps. Leo went down at 12.30am, was up again at 3.30 and again at 6.30. Every three hours like clockwork! I'm exhausted. Paul is hungover in the spare room, he eventually got home at 3am! He was hammered so obviously I didn't want him to help with Leo. But think I will pass Leo over to him soon!

I don't think i could handle being hungover and looking after a baby! Get the poor man some nurofen quick!! I'm letting Greg sleep until 8.45 when I'll wake him to watch the rugby. Go England!!!
I reckon Leo is just a very hungry baby - have you tried trying to eek the feeds out a bit? If he cries at 3 try feeding him at 3.30 by distracting him and getting him
Used to longer feed times. It might not work if he is super hungry but could be worth a try!

Simmy, Leo might be going through the 6 wk growth spurt. That one is tough but it will pass.

Hann, 9hrs is very impressive :)

Sounds like both of you had fun last night. I stayed in to feed Jillian, while my husband played beer pong with his buddy. I survived the first night of his weekend visit. I can't wait to be done. I feel bad to say it, but I really didn't want him visiting. I'll behave myself though.

hann just a thought but maybe it's silent reflux. That's what Cam's been diagnosed with. He's been on Omeprazole since Wedneday and we had so much less screaming yesterday. Keeping on with the colocynth and gripe water, but the arched back whilst feeding has stopped (for just now). Normally they give gaviscon first but his low weight gain made the gp choose the omeprazole (which is apparently vvv expensive, but it seems to be working).
Simmy Cam's on a similar schedule. It will eventually pass, that what I keep telling myself!
BV good luck for the weekend!

Hi ladies,
Just a quick hello from me, will catch up properly later, hope you all are enjoying the weekend so far!
Fifi, I had Omeprazole for my horrific pregnancy heartburn. lol

Laters xx

Yup, he is a very hungry baby. He also roars like a lion so there's only so long I can hold out on the feed for before he gets too distressed.

So I passed him to Paul at 8am but by 9 he handed him back, said he felt really ill and didn't trust himself with Leo. You were totally right Hann! You were kind letting Greg watch the rugby! Lol Paul was so funny, apologising that he was a bad dad. He's not really of course, everyone needs a night off.

BV, it is probably a growth spurt - I hope so! Well done on surviving your hubby's friend's first night there! I know you've been dreading it for ages. Just imagine how relieved you'll be when he's gone! :D

Simmy, yes, you're right. I have been dreading it for ages. The funny part is that it was much worse in my head than in reality. My husband made breakfast, took care of the dishwasher, and even held Jillian while I took care of the dog. Now he's playing video games in the office with his friend and I have the living room to myself. I'd like to go shopping to get out of the house, but I keep debating whether I should or not. I need to keep the spending down and I'm also meeting a friend tomorrow for lunch and shopping. I suppose it's pointless to go two days in a row. Plus, I can fit in my pre-pregnancy jeans. Yey! :) It's the little things in life...

Hope everyone is having a fun weekend :)

Thanks Fi - think I'll ask the dr about that. How do you administer it? It took ages to get her to sleep tonight because she couldn't stop screaming after the feed. She sounds in so much pain and it's now happening on every feed. Appreciate your help so thanks.

We went to see our photographer today to view the shots she took of Annabelle at 2 weeks, they are amazing! If anyone wants to see them they are viewable at www.anniearmitage.com then you go to log in and click on Malone Family and the password is Bunny&Baby (need the B's to be in caps). We love them!

Also went to sign Annabelle up for the day care for August next year and have been told she might nit get a place so I have to check out a few options which is annoying as the one I want her to go to is next door and really good. To make matters worse (and yes this sounds ridiculous and bitter) I told an nct friend that I was going to the nursery so she decided to come, she has given up work so doesn't actually need het child to go to it but she had put her down to go at the same time as Annabelle, actually she put her down for the month before. If her child gets in and I don't get a place I'll be so annoyed as I can't go back to work without a place and really need it for 4 days a week and she doesn't need a place but just wants time each week to herself. Sorry for the rant, it's just irked me!!

You'll get in, don't worry. We had that issue with Harry's first nursery when I changed my days at work but we were sorted in about 2 months. They all move around a lot.

Thanks Linds, I hope so. Do you think I should get her to do one day a week from January just to get a place so she can do the 4 days from august? We really don't have the spare cash but then I'd kick myself if I didn't get a place! They only have space for 12 babies.

doesnt make any difference. if you want to add extra days you still have to wait for a place to come up. we had that problem when i changed shifts!

Great pictures, Hann!

DH is sick, so I'm terrified of Katie getting sick, especially while teething and just when she's about to get her shots! I'm just hoping that if she has to get it, I get it first so I can give her the antibodies.

We took her to an amusement park today for DH's company picnic, and even dipped her feet in the waterpark. I got some cute pictures of DH and her, now I can really see why EVERYONE says she looks just like her daddy!

i know I just shared a few pictures of her a day or two ago, but I love these! The resemblance is pretty uncanny!

Hello Ladies!!!!

I have been reading, just been super busy with uni and Matilda's 2nd birthday.

Doods I was taking fenugreek for a while, I didnt actually mind the smell, reminded me of pancakes :)

So sorry to hear about poor Britt, makes me so angry that life can be so cruel.

As for me I cant get over how different two children can be, Matilda was such an easy baby. With Billy we are now on formula no. 4 which I am happy with (finally). We have had to buy the MAM anti colic bottles, which have made a huge improvement to his wind and colic. Now I have also started him on infant gaviscon for silent reflux, now that is making him constipated. I tried not giving his a does for his first bottle this morning, BIG mistake! He screamed for 3 hrs until I fed him again. So back to the doctors tomorrow to get something else. I am at least glad that we know its reflux now, hopefully with better meds things will improve.

Cant believe my little girl is 2 she is such a loving sister all she wants to do is cuddle and help out, such a character tho. her newest thing to say is "of course mummy" and the other day I was putting on my shoes and she says "good girl mummy, very clever" she really makes me laugh!

Its so much fun watching them open pressies as they get a bit older, have uploaded some pics! am quite proud of my cake decorating efforts too!

Thanks Linds - I hadn't thought about that - why is childcare such a pain?!!

SB - sorry your DH is ill, I hope Katie doesn't get it. She does look a lot like her daddy but I can see a lot of you in her too - dark hair and eyes I think. Very cute!

Amanda I am so pleased that 'you have found the best formula and got the reflux diagnosis. We haven't got on with gaviscon either. Fi recommended an alternative a couple of pages back so I am going to try and get that. Could be an option for you too. Maltilda sounds so cute and the cake is excellent!

Just doing the night feed - she only lasted 6.5 hours tonight :(
