Breastfeeding Support - 6 months and beyond!

So I'm sure you girls have seen it already but I decided to start a photobucket account full of awesome breastfeeding blinkies!! I spent most of the night last night finding them and organizing them. And I'm also expanding to formula feeding blinkies and parenting because I don't want the formula feeding girls to feel left out. :D

I love the blinkies!!!! :p as you can tell ;)

Kayleigh is getting better! Still coughing and all, but getting there.

TY miss bump, my ticker is from lilypie and the blinkie I got from Cleckners new photobucket account :)

Thanks hun!! I knew people hated the cow ones and I found these so I knew it'd add variety for the girls that are against the cow ones. I think the turtle ones are super cute too. Can't wait to have a boy. :haha:

link for bhlinkies please! and need one when past 24 months as no one has them that far.

Right in her siggy, it's there :) They are sooo cute!

Oooo thanks Cleckner!!!

I'll put a new one on my sig :) love your sig piccies your girl always looks so happy :)

DF glad the talc is cleared I bet William had great fun scattering it lol

I've got that dreaded AF pain.......

my af would need to stay away like last time.

got new siggy. :)

spotted william cleaning his jeep with a sock earlier lol

I'm glad you girls like them! :happydance: It seriously makes my day.

Dragonfly- I have blinkies up to 36 month milestones but I can expand them as well. The flower ones and the turtle ones go up to 36 months but I also have them up to 48 months I just didn't add them onto the account yet.

So do you girls think I should add the rest in that go up to 48 months? That'd be 4 years. I didn't think that many girls on here really feed for that long so I wasn't sure if there was a need IYKWIM.

Thanks!! She really is a very smiley baby. But lately it's evil little sideway smiles when she knows she's getting into something bad but is just daring me to stop her. :dohh::rofl:

I've gone for the turtle one, haven't seen them before, lovely!

I call breastfeeding "milkies" but Thomas just uses the sign for it. He only normally asks in the morning and at bedtime but recently he was sick and he used the milk sign to ask for extra feeds. I was happy that he was able to sign for it. The sign is closing and opening your hand.

HELP.... i love the new blinkies, but can't get into the website, can you post the link again please as I can't do it off the siggy!!!! :-(

You advice ladies on the biting issue has really helped, I took Tobias off the booby for 30 seconds each time he bit and now bout a week later he is now realising it is bad thing to do! Its taken this long, because he doesn't do it every feed!

What is everyone looking forward to in 2011 then?
Personally I am looking forward to Tobias' 1 st birthday and TTC for no2!

Fab blinkies hun, I'll change mine to one of yours when I reach 9 months :flower:

I'm looking forward to M's first birthday and her walking and talking more. I can't wait to see her little personality develop! Whilst I'm not looking forward to going back to work (probably full time, if I can find a job ), I'm looking forward to saving up to go and see my Dad in Australia. Hopefully before M is 2 in 2012 so I don't have to pay for her plane ticket :haha:

I like the breastfeeding champoin ones but assume you have to be really brainy to get one and to afrad to ask about them.

Don't be silly DF, I think you just ask to be one so the OP can put you on the first post with what area you 'specialise' in. In your case I guess you could help a lot of women regarding tandem feeding etc. You definitely qualify!

What is require to get one?

I've always wondered too as I'd quite like to be a BF champion.

Although we have only been BF for 8 months I'd like to think I can still help. Even if I helped just 1 person feed their baby :)

xx

Not sure if i would be any good other than offering support I am no expert.

I am looking at William hair this past few days and jealous, he has the cutest ringlets! I would love to have hair like that when I was young and he has pretty hair. Spiral locks of blond fair hair. mines straight as a pin. His dad has naturally curly hair.

Oh yes, Williams hair is lovely! I would LOVE to have hair like his :p
DF- you could so be a bfing champion. You know a lot more than I think you give yourself credit for. You are a good listener, give great advice and I think you would help loads! I on the other hand, haven't been through a lot, no pain at first etc... went through pumping, shields etc... but lots have, so I don't think I would be much help.

I think going up to 48 months on there would be fine :) Maybe someone has before (I think one woman has I believe... ) so someone might have a use for them... they are soooo pretty!
