So coudnt be arsed calling them again and put through another order, went and checked account total was £98 and they took out £1.50?? no idea why but this was yesterday and was waiting or emails to tell me it was declined or something and now i get a dispatch email its on its way but they didnt take the money and with my bank they take it right away before you get stuff i can still take that money. its to arrive tomorrow. I hope they dont i could do with the money but i bet they do.

congrats on 15 months and getting there with only one bite is impressive i wish i was that lucky lol but ej loves trying his teeth on everything including me , atm i just get marks from his teeth the top ones from the pressure as hes feeding rather than actual bites,
we are trying to reintroduce a bottle to him as he refused to take one for so long i have to find time to try and offer one each day or 2 as i need to be able to leave him for the evening for the last 2 saturdays of this month for things that i really cant have him with me for and cant not do so either hes going hungry or gonna have to take a bottle again

Lynnikins- i love the pic of EJ & NJ at xmas in your siggy- you have 2 lovely little boys there

Eve, I only just looked at Kaleb's link (my nephew's called Caleb, also born 2008) but he is one very, very handsome little man. May I ask how much he weighed? He looks so tiny, but so perfect :hugs:

DF- I hope you get a good deal ;) Do you do your food shopping online too? I wish I could :( Have to get all dressed up, go out in the cold, drag the kids all through there and pay soooo much more as we are pretty far out of town so the stores here are so over priced!

FB- He was 5lb9oz 19.5 inches long born at 37 weeks, but he didn't grow much since 34 weeks due to the high BP and growth restriction.. so he would have been a good size. Thank you :flower:

yeah i do my food shop online to. But normally with sainsbiurys but since tyesco on-line had this peddle tractor I knew william would love i had to get it. he has cars and jeeps but loves trucks and tractors to. Heres a pic.

its cheaper for me to get shopping on-line they charge way to much in shops here. And I dont have a car.

Dont get me started on the price if the food shop, Eve lol

With the VAT increased now to 20% it's meant to help the economy and the countries deficit  more like its going to be used for god knows what and then claimed on the MPs 'expenses' grrr

Evies 8 month check went well yesterday altgo the HV said she should be on 3 feeds a day and more 'food' tut tut my girl still NEEDS her breastmilk and Food Is Fun Until One and after posting about it in baby club I just ignored the 'advice'

O/T
Anyone know much about reflux at this age? Evies meds dont seem to be working well anymore :(

Cleckner how is Emmas hand and bedtimes now?

Cute!!! Looks like it would be a fun thing for a birthday :) I bet he will love it!

Well I really wish I could do it online now lol. :( Cheaper and so much easier!

K still has around 3-4 bf a day, and 1-2 bottles of cows milk or formula a day and some food.... not much though. Today she had some cheerios and a mum-mum so far. yogurt when she wakes for lunch with some toast and maybe an orange too with me, and not sure on supper. She would be happy with nothing but BM and CM but I know she needs solid food some!

No experience with reflux either :( I suspected it for a while as K wouldn't sleep laying down but the doctor said they don't give meds for it here anyways.

Emma's appointment was yesterday for her hand and they said it looks good enough that I don't have to wrap it anymore!! I took an updated picture of it. I just have to mix them all so I can show a progression of how it looked the day after vs. today. So I'll do that today and post it for you girls to see. :flower: Hopefully you aren't totally grossed out by burns. I'll put it in a spoiler just in case. :haha:

Emma's bedtime is still going good at 10. Last night she fell asleep at 9:45 so that was nice. :haha: She still only stays in her own bed for 2 hours before coming to me. It's almost like clockwork because she comes into my bed around midnight every night. I figure she'll start going longer in her own bed when she's ready but this is a good start!

Here's Emma's hand for the ones that may be curious. Warning: Don't look if you're easily grossed out by burns!! :flower:

Good news with the bedtimes then :) she seems to be doing well

I bet it's still nice that she sneaks in at midnight for cuddles :cloud9:

Ouch her fingers looked so so sore. Glad all is on the mend for her, what a brave girl :hugs:

Aw poor Emma!!! :hugs:
Brave girlie.

Flora... Hazel was almost called Merryn :D

Miss_Bump... H's reflux started to get much better at 7-8 months, other than that I'm not sure I know much

Yeah her hand was pretty bad. It was a 3rd degree burn so can't get much worse than that really. But the cream I put on the burn every day had some good numbing stuff in it and amazingly she didn't even act a bit different the entire time. I mean the day of it happening was the worst but after that she was okay. Towards the end she even helped me rub the cream on her own fingers. :haha: And I didn't have to hold her down to wrap it anymore. In the beginning I had to straddler her and hold her down to wrap it.

Ah wow, that was horrific burn! Such a brave girl for dealing with that (and you too Cleckner! :hugs:)

It's all kicking off in Baby Club

Ive found more and more that some people on this forum can be very patronising and nasty and making other people feel stupid about what they post

Thankfully I'm not being attacked I posted my opinion with the hope maybe the OP would read it

Such a shame threads get like that

Hmm off to look now. I have been somewhat avoiding baby club lately. Which is a shame because the toddler section is super boring and rarely gets new threads.

Oh my Emma's hand looks so sore! Healing real good though  I can just imagine how you felt hun :hugs: and :hugs: to Emma too!

How do you deal with friends and family commenting on extended BF?
My mum asked yesterday how much longer I will feed and I felt a little awkward talking about it as she seemed to find it a little odd that I'm still BF Evie

DH also wants to know when I'll stop

I can just imagine people being caught off guard at her first birthday if I have to go and feed her etc

For me it's not a problem and I know that I shouldn't care what other people think but j cant help it
