I noticed that kaybee! You joined after they were born though but we have a 'lion cub' group for our august 09 mommies and babies! We started it in first tri and a handful of us still chat fairly regularly. You should pop into our group and introduce yourself! There was another girl in there 'kaygeebee' and I always confuse you two. Our group started out with over a hundred girls but it slowly got smaller and smaller as we got further along and than after the babies were born lots never got back on here.

Aww It could just be a small strike. Don't give up hope hun. How are you holding up? Do they give you updates on your son while he's gone? Can you visit him at all?

I am 2 hours away, so I can only go on weekends, but I call the nurses a few times a day, and we can speak at night for around 15 minutes... but it doesn't feel like enough and Kayleigh is fussing, won't go to sleep and it's near 12am here... she isn't feeling well (teeth) and daddy is trying to get her to sleep... she cried for 20 minutes while we were holding her and trying to calm her...

Guess what ladies... I might be tandem nursing in 8 months time... I'm pregnant!!!

Husband wants me to stop nursing La before that as he thinks she'll get jealous and not want to share... I guess we'll see if she starts to go off the boob when my milk starts to change and see what happens.

congratulations hun, you might find that since she will be nearly 2 1/2 when baby is born that she might have already self weaned

I have decided to go off the mini-pill after I finish this month's pack. So I guess I will be not trying not preventing. But our sex life is pretty minimal to be honest so I think it may take a while!

Fingers crossed! I love feeding La but originally aimed for age 2 and if she did stop before the next one I would be okay with that. The girl is a boob addict though, I can't see her ever giving it up willingly!

Just once, but she did... hoping she will later on, twice a day is good enough for me lol...

Jake is out with a friend of mine who lives down there having a donut and a drink in the cafeteria... makes me feel better, and I get to see him tomorrow!! I am so excited, going to bring down some things for him.

I would love another one... damn doctor and damn me... got my tubes tied and now regret it terribly (since around 20 minutes after it was done... )

Eve - stay strong. Glad to hear that your friend has been able to Jake out for a donut, that must give you great comfort. You must be so excited to see him tomorrow.

becstar - congratulations

I'm worn out today. K had a very high temp last night. It didn't really seem to phase him but I hardly slept a wink. I was very glad that we co-sleep and that we BF. I think it for sure made it easier as I was able to dose next to him and feed him to keep his fluids up without really disturbing his sleep too much. He's fine today, apart from a bit of a snotty nose still. Managed to get a couple of hours sleep with him this avo when he went for his nap which was longer than usual for him. I was quite glad tho.
