Bringing in new year with a positive *january testing thread*

Those comments really get to me. However, I’d rather be offended for a brief moment than live a life with regret for not fulfilling my own dreams. No matter what you do in life - someone is judging you negatively. You might as well make yourself happy. You could do things to make others happy but they will just judge another part of your life. I get these comments a lot from family and friends as I am single mum (using a sperm donor). I know I would be more upset in years to come if I didn’t try for number 6 just because others thought I shouldn’t.

@HalfricanMa oh the what if’s. You could have quite a few by now. Do you normally catch quite quickly?

My first was an accident (6 months ntnp)
Second was 2 years of trying with donor with 3 mc’s in that time
3rd, 4th and 5th all caught first time on first cycle after stopping breastfeeding so not sure what will happen this time.

I have taken donation a day earlier than normal to try to sway for a girl. Obviously if I get a boy it’s no problem but I do miss the girly baby stage. My girls are the 2 oldest, then 3 boys.

Very tried today….

@Beeka it is amazing although I'm pulling my darn hair out daily my oldest is a girl then 3 boys then a girl then 2 boys I to would also love a girl I miss having a baby girl I no they don't stay babies for long tho I've just had massive cramping which stopped me in my tracks and though... oooo it will prob mean nothing tho xx

When are you going to start testing again? I did one again today as I had to they were screaming at me to do obviously negative, in my head tho if I don't get a positive by 11dpo then I no I'm out as I always get bfp at 8/9dpo xx

Wow, you’ve had both experiences: long term ttc and catching the first month trying?! How wonderful that catching the first has outnumbered the times you’ve had to long term try.
The first time I caught the third month. Breastfeeding kept my period away until i took clomid for 3 cycles starting at 16 months postpartum. I didnt conceive those 3 cycles but on the 4th which was unmedicated i did.

With my 5th took us nearly 6months with her, 6th took 2 months with him and my last took about 11 month but between that I'd had a missed miscarriage and a cp and each one I said that was it was done xx

@Beeka I'm 37 i have 7 children 20, 13, 10, 9, 5, 3 & 17month old i love a big family the chaos it brings also when/if we do fall I'm dreading the comments 'trying for a football team' or 'are you not done yet' got that with my last

I'd like to have 6 kids and while preggo with 5 thinking about going once more.. but people's judgements hold me back... that and my blood pressure keeps playing up so part of me feels like I should go again. I'm tempted to just go with the flow and if it happens it happens

You all have so many, I envy you a bit. I only have two so far, both boys, aged 9 (soon 10!) and 6. I am also considered "old" for a pregnancy at 38. We've been trying for seven cycles so far, so January will be the 8th. First time around I was pregnant by the 2nd cycle trying, the second time it took us six cycles to conceive. Hoping and praying it doesn't take much longer.

Tbh we just do well i do try my best as they get older and the answering back gets more and I have to count to 100 instead of 5 or 10, but we do yes they fight but they love each other and play together amazingly xx

Im sorry you’re already feeling out. You know your body best, but I do hope you get surprised. Isn’t 6dpo a likely time for implantation or is it feeling unlike that?

See that was maybe my first thought of implantation but I honestly don't no i may test i may not i don't no yet xx

I've just done a test and pretty sure it's very very very faint which is pretty impossible right xx

I've done a frer and there's a bloody line it's faint and I'm freaking out (could be nothing) xx
Prob can't see it as camera can't get eat I'm seeing if it true it should be darker by morn or afternoon whenever I decide to test again xx

@tdog that is SO hopeful! Im having trouble seeing it but im very excited that you’re seeing faints and on 2 different brand tests nonetheless!! Im anxious for your next tests!! Also praying for you!
