Bumpkins & Babies Chat Thread

Kte yes im in the new job but kids haven't come with me yet as house isn't ready :( missing them so much. Saw them today for a few hours though.

We use mainly the toilet but we also have a big boy potty its more like a seat with lid than his old little potty and he'll use that too.

Oh no that must be so hard :(

Its horrid so im just getting to work early and leaving late as possible so my days are full. I know I should be enjoying the me time but it just doesn't feel right!!!!!!

Its so hard to 'switch off', I hate it when Chloe sleeps out overnight at my parents. All I do instead of putting my feet up is missing her and counting down until she is back :hugs:

How long before they can move down? :flower:

Hi girls, hope all well. We doing ok. As usual no time to write properly, but we mostly happy and healthy and having lots of fun.

Hi everyone!

Not a lot going on for us. Just the usual lol. Eddy is now 6 months old - can you believe that? Earl is doing well too. I've been a bit poorly, but nothing unusual there lol.

Has anyone got their christmas trees up yet? We're not putting ours up until the 9th (tradition to put it up 2nd sunday of December) but I've seen so many people who have them up already and my next door neighbour has had them up nearly a fortnight!!

Aimee, forgive me for being dense as the tests I have looked at were different - does that mean TTC kinda happened sooner than planned?!

Decorations wise I always wait for the traditional days too, I can't quite believe people have them up but they are up here too. I mean, don't get me wrong I have been enjoying cheesy Christmas 24 moves since the start of November but I don't do anything christmassy (minus the odd presant shop) until actual December. Plus it's my Dad's birthday on the 4th, that always came first before Christmas began.

We are fine here as well - Colsy glad to here things are fine even though your busy :flower:

Chloe has hit mega tantrum city at the moment though, I suspect its lack of nap now she is pre-school. This morning she woke up all happy, got out of bed and full on tantrumed then for no reason. :dohh:

I think so Kte - It's a shock I can tell you. Took the test as was supposed to be going to the Dr's today to get my BCP prescription! It's still really faint but have done 2 and they both look the same.

Congrats Aimee, I recommend them close together lol look at me :haha:

Hi ladies, how are we all? I'm a hormonal wreck here, I just have moments where I feel so claustrophobic and just need to de stress. Bus delays all week wore me out and then The car failed its mot and then yesterday our drain blocked and grossness was flowing into next doors garden, they could only come out today to sort it so we were very limited on all water usage. At least we are insured! We finally decorated the house this weekend, took two days as I'm exhausted but it's nice. Were off to my sisters next weekend so this was our only chance to get the house sorted! Chloe did the tree and I'm pretty impressed, she done an amazing job, even nij with his bauble ocd has left it alone! She keeps saying its beautiful :) she is really getting into and loving Christmas :)

:hugs: Kte - I know the feeling on the exhaustion. This last fortnight has been a roller-coaster.

From my BFP on the 29th, to hubby being out so much with ice hockey, christmas socials, and various other clubs and societies, to the final icing on the cake - my Dad passed away on Thursday. I'm ready to throw in the towel and never get out of bed again. I'm not really that bad it's just with the tiredness of 1st tri and all this, I'm a bit of a wreck.

I'm sure things will start to get better soon though. Just like Chloe, Earl is really into Christmas too. He helped me to decorate the tree (ours in 7.5ft tall so I have to use a ladder to get to the top lol) and keeps saying it's beautiful, asking if it's Christmas yet and whether Santa is on his way. I'm so looking forward to watching his progress on NORAD this year. Should make it really magical lol.

Aimee :hugs: So sorry to hear about your Dad :flower: xxxx

Thanks both. It's all coming good now but I'm still not quite sure what to do with myself a lot of the time. I'm just keeping busy. New baby is also a source of excitement that's making things slightly easier to bear.

Wow Aimee! Congrats! :hugs: how have you been feeling?
So sorry to hear about your dad :hugs: :flower:

Kte- milo always falls asleep in the car after school :dohh: hope she's adjusting more now.
Hope your day went better today :hugs:

I plan on putting up the Christmas tree this week. Hope it stays in one piece until Christmas :dohh: milo has really been showing us a lot more the past few weeks. He's nothing like he was just a few months ago. Of course he's the same old milo in his personality. But is really coming along with his speech :happydance:

How are we all doing ladies? I can't believe Santa will nearly be here! :happydance: :xmas6:

I'm good, last day at work today - hurray! I'll be glad of the change of pace! LO must of moved this weekend as I feel like 36 weeks not 26 weeks! Plus I don't feel as much movement, they are moving a little but it doesn't seem as often or as hard. I am a little worried but I still get movements, plus now and then I prod my belly to get them going again when I am really worried and they seem fine. Looks like this LO will be just as cheeky as Chloe is! More grey hairs at the ready!
