Canadian Moms & Moms to be!

Yeah I'm hoping Hannah's mood is okay tomorrow for the same reasons :argh: at least we have a class in the morning so we can get out of the house (usually makes her a little more manageable )

that's great that Jasmine will nap for the sitter when she needs it :)

Brandi - Thats too funny about Zoe hanging out at my Dad's. :haha:

My girls made out really good too! And we only went down like 1/4 of our street, and then back up the other side. But her bag is full, and Alora's little pumpkin bag is stuffed too (which is for Pete and I mostly :haha:).

Both girls are passed right out now. I think the trick or treating wore them right out (and I only let Kyree have one piece of chocolate and some chips when we got home, I didn't want her staying up late!).

I will post pics tomorrow. For now, I'm pretty beat!

haha ya Peyton fell right asleep :D

we actually had a couple cool things tonight... One guy had a really good telescope outside for everyone to look at the moon. Jasmine loved it and it was cool! It really magnified it well.

And this older woman was giving out candy and stuffed animals, so Peyton got a horse and Jasmine got a dog.

 That's awesome, Tiff.

Isaiah was scared of some of the strobe-lighted pumpkins and some costumes, so he just growled at them. One guy was dressed in a big Darth Vader-like cape, with a completely black mask and the eyes glowed red. It scared Isaiah, so he growled at it, and the guy pretended to be scared, so Isaiah went up and gave him a hug and said "I sowwy I scared you."

Yup, she just walked right in like it was no one's business, said her Hi's and started exploring the house. She wouldn't come out when I called to her, so I went in to get her, and as I was coming back out, Isaiah was trying to get in. I don't think your dad's wife remembered us, but your dad did. He reminded her and then mentioned something about visiting.

They had a great night.

Off to Pita Pit for supper. Unfortunately after my large dental bills and lack of insurance, I need to keep my candy eating to a minimum...maybe just Reese's Pieces, the Crunchies, the Sweet Chili Heat Doritos, the Tootsie Rolls, and the Aero's...

 We were at one house and this lady walked up carrying her baby (well I say baby but it was an older baby, probably closer to a year) and Hannah told her "I love your baby"

Jasmine saw her friend Leah out trick or treating and they ran up to each other and gave each other a huge hug... It was adorable. Then they got to go to a house together and we could hear them telling the lady at the door how they were best friends and stuff.

That's really cute Joss! I love all these halloween stories :)

Alia made out well...we have a big bucket of candy to plug away at for the next few days. We got caramel apples at Nathan's Aunt's house, they were soooo good. Alia was so well behaved for such a long night, we didn't even get home till two hours past her bedtime!! (9pm).

If anyone wants to see her in her costume, here's the pics we got done....any help in choosing the best one would be much appreciated!!! I think so far I like the 9th one :)
(her photos start at #137)

Lots of cute ones, Melissa! Hard to pick! :)

Simon got tired towards the end of our 1-block trick-or-treating route and started telling people, "Okay, that's enough! That's all I need. That's all I need."
And he told one sweet old lady that she was awesome and so was her house. :) It's very funny when these toddlers become so self-confident and expressive.
Tobe was so funny. He waddled around in his little pumpkin suit, clutching this small pail. He kept grabbing boxes of smarties and shaking them.
I don't know if I got very good photos - the boys were moving too fast.

IT RAINED HERE :growlmad:... no rain in the forecast and it started spitting about 20 minutes into trick or treating. We pushed through a bit but Elyse was feeling really anxious about not having any umbrellas with us so we headed home soon after. Still filled her bag. Things I don't like = going to my work tomorrow. Haven't decided what we'll do with the rest of it yet!

Some kid was out trick or treating with a Hell Raiser mask on, scared the shiz out of Elyse's friend, Elyse just told him he was ugly :shy:

awwww tasha that sucks! Last year it was deathly cold here... Im so glad it was nice this time at least.

Cute pics, brandi!

We were out for over an hour and a half hahaha.... Jasmine was hopped up on candy so she had lots of energy and she is so outgoing that she totally would be just going up to houses without us. Peyton just rode in the stroller haha

 Oh Tasha that's hilarious she told him she was ugly. :( Sucks about the rain though.

cute pics Brandi, I'll look at yours after kinder korner Melissa :)

 Sarah that's pretty funny that Simon got tired. I think Hannah did towards the end as well but she would have gone on if I didn't tell her it was time to go home, I was exhausted :haha:

Glad to hear you got to go out as a family Tiff.

Hope all of the kids are well behaved today after the sugar rushes and Halloween hype.

They are all so cute Melissa!

Awww, I love all the toddler stories. It sounds like they all had lots of fun.

We went to visit a few family friends and by the end of it B had enough of getting in and out of her carseat and was ready to sleep.
I bought a bed rail for our bed yesterday as I find I worry a lot when sleeping with B in our bed that she will fall out when I am feeding her from the left boob. She still woke up frequently last night but I slept much better not worrying she was going to fall out of bed.

That sucks that it rained Tasha.
Fortunately it stopped snowing here, although there was still snow on the ground.

OMG Halloween hangover is in full effect here :argh: thank God this holiday only comes once a year

Hey Ladies!!

Sorry, another quick one from me. I just read this page, but did look at the one before to see pictures of Halloween costumes. :cloud9: Soooo cute!!!

Happy to hear that most of you had great Halloweens. Tasha, too bad it was raining :( It was actually pretty nice here and not too cold...but we only went to my parents, and my FIL and MILs. I don't think P would have got it this year and I didn't want her to be scared either. Although Nathan did get her to say "tick teat" a few times.:cloud9:
Peyton looked adorable in her princess dress. I added a picture...she looks super serious though. (She was really cranky last night:shrug:)

 All of Hannah's candy got stored downstairs, if it's in eyesight she would whine about it none stop :haha:

hope your tummy feels better!

Aww adorable pic Brig :)

Blah. In the middle of my 2 hr GTT ... still 30 min to go and so bored.

Andrew had so much fun last night! I thought he'd last 3 hours, but he was out for hours! And came back with way too much candy for a kid under 2. I admit I stashed a could mini chocolate bars in my hospital bag :haha:
