Canadian Moms & Moms to be!

Cute slippers!

I feel like I need to be saying the alphabet to B when she's sleeping so she soaks it in lol.

Alia looks cute with her new slippers!

Hope J sleeps well tonight Sara.

Hope your trip goes well Sarah.

Sorry, I read everything but really didn't retain much.

Brig of course you can use the pics for your site and page :D
Alia actually loves them. I put them on her and she was so happy stomping around the kitchen in them. She usually says "off" when she doesn't want something on her feet, but I could tell these were really comfy for her...thanks again!

Awe!! That really makes me happy! :cloud9:

Seriously, I don't think you guys need to worry about teaching your kids things. We are all good moms, and like I said, my mom just had someone from the school board come out to help her with getting ready for homeschooling Ashley for kindergarten (she may go to public school for grade 1, she has anxiety issues which is why she is being home schooled, not my moms choice) and really, they don't need to know much. Kindergarten is more for the structure of school, and this person from Alberta Education that came said really a lot of the time is spent say lining up and attendance, etc, not like sitting down and learning stuff. It's pretty much preschool.

They have kids from all over the spectrum, so they keep Kindergarten pretty basic.

Melissa, it doesn't seem like I can save your pics from here. No rush, when you get the chance maybe you can e-mai lthem to me, or post them on FB?:flower:

I emailed them to the little miss p address...let me know if you got them!

Wendy - you only say that cause you have the smartest kid evvvvaaaa LOL JK! I know its silly to be worried about J at this stage, but i have this fear of her not reaching her potential and its my fault... at 8 months old - high expectations much :haha:

I agree with Wendy in regards to teaching your kids stuff  I think we all put way to much pressure on ourselves. :hugs:

not much planned here for the morning, might make cinnamon rolls with the kiddo, we'll see. Art class this afternoon!

Hello to all the new ladies!!! :)

Melissa, got the pictures thank you!!!

Have fun at art class Vickie!!
Have a great day everyone!

our night was so so, she spent most of it with us, although she went down easy enough at 8:30 so we shall just keep trying

Hi Paulinka (im in kitchener too!) and vickie22

i really need to trim this kids finger nails - but she is so squirmy i can't do it when she is awake, and when she naps i use the time for "me" or to clean... and often forget - but they are long enough to gouge someones eyes out. and the problem with that, is she is trying to get at mine! (or my ear, nose, mouth, boob, etc etc)

I hate clipping Alia's finger nails!!! She just wants to grab at the nail clippers the whole time. The only time I can do it is during her night time bottle when she's good and calm....but even then it's a struggle. I miss when I could just bite her nails :haha:

LOL i could never bite them! :GAG: lol... J doesn't even stop moving to feed. you should see her - she grabs my hands and waves them around.. grabs her feet... its crazy. Its like her fingernails are on steriods and shes on speed HAHAHA

haha really?? I found it so easy to bite them when she was little....they were like paper thin.

 We used to you tube the all you need is cheese commercial and Hannah would be transfixed by it so we could cut her nails :haha:
