Canadian Moms & Moms to be!

wow Wendy that is interesting! I hope you find out why because I'm curious

:hugs: Terri, I hope Eric starts to sleep better soon

Morning!

That is strange Wendy? I wonder how they figured out that those babies get less sleep??? Interesting to see the results for sure!

What's everyone up to today? Claire is spending the day with MIL, I'm debating whether or not to royally tick P off and start Christmas decorating. :smug: He refuses to do it before December 1st normally, I made a deal with November 25th. Hehehehehe

Other than that, not too much going on here. Still feeling sick (SO over this cold already, just as I'm sure you guys are over me complaining about it!) so gonna lay low.

doooooooooooo it :muaha:

Than record his reaction

I hope you get some rest today so you start feeling better :hugs:

We're getting ready to go out with el crankisito :haha:

I say start decorating Tiff and hopefully it helps make you feel better too, but make sure you get some rest.

Not much here, unsure if we're going to the Christmas Parade tonight or another one over the next few weeks.

Well there is a huge nation wide sleep study going on in all the major cities. Oh just start bringing out some snowmen, Tiff. That's what I did. I put one giant snowman on top of my cabinet, then the next day I went crazy lol.

Hi girls!!!

I want to decorate for Christmas today too :D
We've decided we're getting our tree next weekend and i should just wait till then but I don't wanna :haha:

Argh! So frustrated!

Its my Dad's bday today and they're down at my brother's place. I was mentioning having to switch Claire into an actual bed, and my brother kept going on and on and on about how a toddler bed is a waste of money. :( I know it is to an extent, but for the here and now we can't afford the $400+ to get the double sized mattress and box spring for her crib to convert into a double, not to mention her room isn't large enough atm to have a double sized bed in it.

:( I know my brother has a huge house and he's a lawyer so money isn't overly an issue for him... but I wish that he'd remember that we're not in the same boat. Even after me saying that we don't have the space or money for it he kept going on about how he guesses its okay if we can "afford" to waste money like that.

Am I really supposed to shove a double bed into her room when there isn't space for it? We wouldn't be able to open her dresser drawers if we did that. :(

No Tiff, you get what is right for you guys and your situation. Sorry he's being a twit and not understanding of diffirent situations.
And really when you are done with it you can sell it on and make some money back.

family can be such a pain in the butt sometimes. Do what's best for you!

Aaarrggghhhh my kid won't nap this afternoon, and she NEEDS one and I NEED her to have one! Just as she was falling asleep OH called and then when I was making progress on the 2nd attempt MIL showed up to visit. Please have a nap B.
On a better note OH is bringing me home some chinese from my favourite place for supper! :happydance:

oh lisa :hugs: i wont tell you j is almost on hour 2 of her nap :flower:

not much going on here. went for my JC appt, and my run, and we're supposed to do dinner with Tammy Andy and the girls. Tims working all weekend AGAIN...

Hope B naps for you Lisa!
Sara that sucks Tim has to work all weekend :(

Tiff definitely do what's best for you and don't listen to anyone else. You can get a toddler bed for less than $100, and you already have the mattress and it makes more sense in a small room.... So to you it is definitely not a waste of money.

Tiff if you bought the double bed and could no longer use Claires dresser does the dresser not become a waste of $$ so basically it washes. so buy the toddler bed, and ignore comments from people who don't get it! :hugs:

And J just woke up. 2hr 15m nap today :wohoo:

I think toddler beds are a waste of money, but it depends on the situation. I did find jasmiine slept better on a real mattress vs a crib mattress thoug.

Tiff - I agree, do whats best for you! Ignore what other people think. :hugs:
But what about a twin bed? Thats what we did for Kyree. So at least she gets more than a couple years out of it, as oppose to what you usually get from a toddler bed, but its not a big as a double either so she still has plenty of room! Just a thought! :flower:

So not much going on here, just came home from Walmart grabbing some stuff. God I hate money. I feel like there's never enough! And Christmas is so darn expensive!

Tiff you know Hannah is in a toddler bed and she still has at least another year in it, she could probably make it two years but we'll see :) We went with that option for a lot of the same reasons (lack of space, lack of money etc.) And as another pointed out you can sell it after you are done with it and get some of that money back ;)

Do what works for you!

I know what you mean Kate! it seems like this is a very expensive month for us

:hugs: Lisa I hope that B slept for you

:yipee: for a good nap Sara! I hope you had fun at dinner!

Yeah well both my girls' birthdays are in November, and then I have Christmas.

What was I thinking having two girls born in the same month???:dohh::haha:
