Canadian Moms & Moms to be!

:hugs: Tiff.

I know how crap that is! B has had a prescription sitting here for a couple weeks :(
I prob shouldnt be bidding on stuff either hahah, but I did. Woops. ;)

:hugs: Tiff, that does royally suck :(

I probably shouldn't have gone shopping today but oh well

Hehehehe that's how I got myself into this if I'm honest! :haha: Kept thinking "Ahh it'll be fine" and then got some bills and was like  OK!!! NO IT IS NOT FINE!!!

Seriously, its all good. I'm actually feeling a lot better tonight which is more than I can say for the past week, so I think it'll be fine regardless. If I was going to take antibiotics, I probably should have on Saturday or Sunday. :haha:

Thank you NyQuil!!!

I'm kinda sorta watching that too Sara

I don't generally go "for fun" shopping before we do our big food shop but today was just one of those days ;) I'm sure I'll regret it in a few weeks...........well maybe not

Speaking of worst cooks, I just spent an hour making a simple and tasty pork, apples and potatoes dish that I used to make in Sweden. I thought the boys would love it. They both sat there wailing at the food, like I'd just served up a big ol' plate of poison or something.

:hugs: Tiff.

Yay not spending much money here either. We have gotten ouselves into debt trying to keep up for Christmas in past years and this year it's just gonna be about B and spending time with our families.

Awww :hugs: Sarah, I'm sure it tasted good and they just don't know what's really good.

As for tv... Watching PP here.

Oh! :haha:
Meant to share. Today at IKEA, Simon was playing at the little kitchen, which is his favourite EVER. And he handed me a cup full of some imaginary, but delicious "porridge water".
I promise you I do not serve him porridge water.
I could understand tears at my cooking if I did! :)

hope J eventually went down for you Sara!

That's cute Sarah! These toddlers come up with some funny stuff. Good thing to otherwise we might not want to keep them around ;)

Morning!

Feeling a bit better! :happydance: Which is good cuz I'm working for a few hours this afternoon. :haha:

Soooooooooo much to my dismay P and I watched Claire try to climb out of her crib this morning. She's going to fall and break her neck so unfortunately it looks like we're going to have to make the transition over to a toddler bed. :hissy: I'm not happy losing her prison!

Any tips to make it a bit easier on her? She hates change with a PASSION.

At first we were going to convert her crib to a twin size bed, but for the price of the mattresses (and we don't have the room atm) its actually cheaper to go with a toddler bed. We're going to let her pick out her own bedding and whatnot as a way to get her excited.

Argh. Can you tell I'm not happy about this?

So cute Sarah.

Hope J went down and let you have some sleep last night.

Unfortunately B woke up quite a bit last night and breakfast was alright but not fantastic.

Plans for the weekend anyone?

Sorry Tiff, I'm still working on getting my kid to sleep so not much advice. I think having her help pick out the bedding is a good idea.

 I'm surprised she lasted this long Tiff!

My only suggestion is to make sure that the bed is in the same place/position (her head in the same position) as the crib. That was the hardest thing with Hannah because we changed the location of her bed the first night was not great. Once we put her bed in exactly the same spot as her crib she was fine

We also tried to make her excited by telling her it was her big girls bed like mommy and daddy's bed

Sorry last night and breakfast didn't go great Lisa :(

It's our shopping weekend here and we are going to get a tree at some point.
