Canadian Moms & Moms to be!

Lisa :hugs: That sounds so painful!! Hope the antibiotics work!

Once this baby is out of me I'll have to do things to make me feel young...right now I can't think of anything that a pregnant lady can do to make her feel young....except maybe crawling on the floor with Alia??

I'm getting to the point in the pregnancy where everything tires me out or annoys me haha. I told Nathan this and he said (and I quote) "ya I've noticed".... thanks dear

 Ohh Melisa wrong thing for him to say :haha: but pretty funny

Oh my goodness Lisa  That sounds awful. I hope they can get the results back sooner :hugs:

Not much going on here today. Hannah's thrown 500 tantrums  and we're both sick

I've been so busy :( But I should be able to get on to post tonight, if Elliot cooperates.

Lisa, THAT SOUNDS SO BAD :hugs: :hugs: You are one tough cookie!

Zoe gets to go home in the morning. It's about time!

Lisa, hope your hand feels better and heals quickly.

The nurse had to pull Zoe's IV this morning because it went interstitial. This was her hand when she woke up

Poor Zoe. :( She just can't catch a break! Im glad you're going home tomorrow though! :)

Melissa - I remember that feeling quite well! It gets pretty rough towards the end. And I LOVED being pregnant, even at the end. But it still gets emotionally and physically exhausting, carrying that baby around when they're nearly full-term. And just wanting to MEET them. But it'll be over before you know it. ;)

Yikes, Lisa!
Scary stuff! :(
Hoping you heal quickly and that no one else (particularly little B) contracts the infection.

Vickie - "500 tantrums" Ah, don't know why I'm laughing, Simon is getting so stubborn and grumpy. It comes in manageable amounts right now, but pretty sure the 500-tantrum day is in the mail! :)

Melissa - I got to that point in Simon's pregnancy and it was xmas, so I just stayed home as much as I could. I felt like there was a real danger of me clubbing some random poor schmuck with a blunt object, otherwise. I was so ornery. Husband was pretty careful not to poke the grumpy bear, though. Nathan is either brave or a tad foolish... ? :)

Crazy long day at the Zoo today. There is an absolutely nutty windstorm hitting the city right now. Like trees are down, the downtown core was closed due to a shower of broken glass and other dangerous debris flying off buildings, and the Zoolights displays were taking a beating. So between shows, I was staggering against the wind, hoping my big bin of costumes didn't blow away!

Hope all the babies sleep/get better/take it easy on their mamas!

One of my former friends (who keeps having kids for the government benefits) had her fourth child two days ago. The baby was her first to go full term. She had an 11lbs 14oz baby girl at 38 weeks. No Pre E or GD either. Imagine carrying that around

HAHA Wendy!!! That's exactly how I feel when I go to the Fabric stores here in town...which is at least twice a week. lol I get weird looks from all the old ladies. :haha:
I don't care though...I'm loving sewing and making stuff. It's keeping me sane...which is good since winter is just arounf the corner I'm sure.

But I do miss craft night!!!

Lisa, I haven't been on much...what happened to your hand hun? :(

Brandi, so happy to hear Zoe is going home tomorrow!!!

Vicky, sorry to hear you and H are both sick :( Hope you two feel better!

We need to do craft night soon, once your craft shows are done and you're caught up! :D
I miss it too! :(

I don't even sew that much and I have been to Fabricland a few times in the last month (had an AWESOME sale on curtains this weekend!). Its always full of a bunch of old Betty's. :haha: I don't care. :haha:

Yeah, I don't care anymore either. :haha: I have made friends with a few of the older ladies that work there so I feel welcomed now. :haha:

Brig... Hand...
I was building a bookshelf and got a blister which ended up getting infected and it spread and got worse.

Hope you both feel better soon Vickie.

Glad to hear Z will be out soon.

Ya I definitely don't want to wish this pregnancy away....I'm not in love with being pregnant or anything, but its already gone by so fast, I just want to enjoy the moment....even though it can be very uncomfortable!!
Sarah yes Nathan is brave/stupid haha. But he brought me home chocolate covered almonds so all is forgotten :D

Is the FabricLand in North Bay still on Lakeshore Drive? My Mom used to work at that back when I was a kiddo. :haha: She still says that it was her fave job to date, she LOVED working there. She's really crafty and sews a lot so I'm sure she loved the discount working there.

I know!!!!!! Its so crazy to have you guys where I grew up. Kate literally lives like 5 mins away from the house that I spent 15 years in. How nuts is that? :haha:

I love hearing stuff that you guys do and places you guys go. Reminds me of when I used to be there. I told P that I want to make it up there in the summer (since Claire will be used to sleeping in a regular bed by then) and then we're definitely gonna have to all meet up! :happydance:

I HATE Fabricland.

They are so snobby at the ones here. Can't bring kids in and they are such assholes about sharing memberships

I like my discount fabric place. I wish you guys lived closer so we could all have a craft night!
