Canadian Moms & Moms to be!

you know when you have a busy day and your kid decides to sleep funny and throw it all off :grr: she woke up at 7 instead of 9 so shes napping at 10 instead instead of 12 and we have to leave in 10-15 minutes to meet another home care provider. and then we are shopping for gifts for my works kids xmas party, and then swimming... its gonna be a busy day and it would have worked much better if she had of done her normal nap time...

Hello from Calgary, ladies! Anberlin's checking out her very first Nucks game in Vancouver tonight. We're just hanging around waiting for our connecting flight.

She's going to be sporting her tutu and hat. Thanks again Brig!
Hope you guys are well!

I want to watch the Grinch with Hannah but we've just not had a chance, maybe tonight :)

hope your busy day goes smoothly Sara!

Brandy- wow lucky flying to vancouver for a game and against a huge rival. Lucky enjoy must of cost a pretty penny. You should check out the aquarium when you are there.

Sara hope you have a good day and J is a sweetheart.

YAY!!! Have fun Brandi!!!!

Sandra, so nice to see you posting in here agan! :hugs:

Sara, happy to hear J is better.

Peyton still looks like she has a little cold...snotty runny nose...but that's it. Well I guess she is more whiny. Can't decide if it's just teething or a cold.

I'm only staying the night. My flight leaves Abby in the morning at some crazy hour. Surprisingly, this trip has cost me less than it would to drive an hour to Toronto and see a game there. I'll be holding a sign tonight: We flew in from Ontario to see a real hockey team

Brandy too bad the aquarium rocks.

Feel better Payton.

Yeah Ive been more active on this site, its all party of my final exam procrastination plan. Sigh.

hahahaha Sandra! Anna is so sweet!

She had fun at swimming and got her report card! And the best part was that when we sang "if your happy and you know it" she clapped when we clapped, she splashed when we splashed and she waved bye bye when we waved bye bye. it was pretty cute - she is a smart cookie thats for sure. the lady beside me was "how old is she?"

Thats so cute Sara. I really need to put Anna in swimming lessons as she just started to dunk her mouth and nose under water during bath time and blows bubbles. Girl has no fear. You should of seen my reaction when she first did this.

yeah the first time we dunked the babe's i skipped it because she was so worked up, but now i can dunk her several times and it doesn't phase her. I signed us up for the next set of lessons too! they are fun for both of us actually.

she is a clever baby! :) Glad you enjoyed swim class

I remember those procrastination days well  My nephew was a pro at it though. I always knew when he was procrastinating on an university assignment as I'd come home and his room and car would be spotless--he never bothered cleaning them at any other time

There is noting like a little oh crap motivation when your final is the next day and you havent studied all week. That unfortunately is when I shine. I have tried studying all week but do more poorly on the tests.

Anyone else have the problem of buying gifts for their kiddos but want to use them right away?

yep! they are in her closet... but i keep thinking she doesn't know its xmas so just give them to her... but i have resisted as i want to do it properly. even if she doesn't understand.

I did the first few years but this year I haven't had the urge at all. Could be because she was a total monster last week though

haha Sandra that's why I wrapped mine right away!! It's too tempting to let them play with them :)

Glad J feels a bit better.

Hope everyone else feels better soon.

Glad the first craft show was a success Brig.

I've been tempted but resisted to give any of the toys to her so far.

Kyree keeps asking if she can open "a little one".... :haha:
I think the fact that my living room floor looks like a toystore exploded on it, is enough motivation to keep me from letting them open any presents early.

^ LOL

we have the advent calendars and Jasmine pesters me for 1 more chocolate all day haha... Suprisingly she is listening and only getting her 1 in the morning.

Kyree has one of those too! :) Luckily she hasn't bugged for more than her "one a day"... YET! :haha:

I decided to skip the chocolate this year, because H was so annoying last year, and seeing how she is generally more annoying this year about other things, I decided to not do one

Helena keeps asking me if its Christmas too and if she can open some presents. :) We went and saw Santa here yesterday, but didn't get a pic. She ran right up and hugged him. It was super cute.
