Canadian Moms & Moms to be!

Right now I am eating popcorn and ice cream and debating whether or not to steal my son's chocolate santa.
Awwwww.
Missed you, period! :xmas2:

I just finished eating marble rye toast with butter and basil pesto...and dried cranberries for dessert :haha:

I would have LOVED to go that long without a period. Anberlin was the longest without one. With Zoe (FF), it was 7 weeks PP, Isaiah (BF), 8 weeks PP, and Anberlin was 13 weeks PP.

Want a pickle and ice cream with that? :xmas2:
Preggo! :haha:

Actually, that sounds really good. Now I'm craving pesto! Period hormones are awesome!

We started watching Luther on Netflix - a BBC detective show. It's really good!

hahaha I bought a jar of pickles last week to eat :D They are sooo yummy!

I was around 5 months PP with Peyton when I got AF back which is pretty good considering I was supplementing him with 1 bottle of formula a day, I think it is because he was getting up so frequently at night for so long though.

the :witch: made her triumphant return last night. 573 days period free. but im happy to see it. i NEVER used to pms and i have been PMS'ing so bad these last few days tim wondered what the hell was wrong with me. makes me wonder if im going to be overly hormonal next pregnancy seeing as i wasn't at all last time.

Anyway i have an appt at the gym today, a few xmas errands to run. not a lot going on.

YAY for getting your AF back Sara!!!
Hey both the Sara(h)s are menstruating today

I am wayyyy more hormonal this pregnancy

thats hilarious actually hahaha... maybe it is the same deal as women who live in the same house, expect we are all just women in the same forum :D LOL

A day of returned periods :haha:

Actually I feel like I have my period right now. Very crampy and considering getting checked out at the hospital, but detest the thought of being thought a hypochondriac at my L&D

trust your instincts Amanda, if you think you need to get checked than get checked :hugs:

Sorry I've read but am in a hurry trying to eat before my doctors appointment so will come back and respond to more later :hugs:

Yes definitely listen to your body Amanda!! Nobody will think you're a hypochondriac.

So Alia surprises me every day with how clever she is....today I put on one of N's old shirts while Alia was having a nap. N hasn't worn this shirt for at least a couple years. When Alia woke up from her nap she looked at me all amused and pointed to the shirt and said "daddy's shirt".... I said "yes mommy is wearing daddy's shirt"...then she said "silly mommy" :haha: It's clearly a man's shirt but I just think it's amazing that Alia realized that!

shes a smart cookie!!

I hope everything is ok amanda!!

just got home from the gym! im super excited to get working out again :)

:hi: Nat

Hope everything is okay Amanda :hugs:

 That's cute Melissa!

I hope you enjoy the gym Sara!

The af cramping is normal and sounds like the babies weights are just starting to soften your cervix... It is normal for you to feel more in your second pregnancy.

If you think you are actually having contractions or going into labour you should definately call your OBGYN or go to the ER and have them check you out. If you did go into early labour they would give you a drug to stop the contractions... if that didn't work they would give the babies steroids for their lungs etc depending on how early you went. If you go to early though most doctors will automatically do a c-section... It depends on alot of things though which would best be discussed with your obgyn personally because different ones have different comfort levels.

If your OBGYN hasn't gone over all that mabey you should make an appointment and discuss what to do etc. I know here doctors like to try and keep twins in until as close to 37 weeks as possible. Even Jessa had the drug to stop contractions because they were trying to keep the triplets in for as long as possible.

Amanda - Glad everything is okay! I had lots of cramping with both pregnancies, especially once I got closer and closer to the end (I know twin pregnancies are different but I imagine SOME of the feelings are similar?). And no matter how much I wonder if it was the "real thing" - when it ACTUALLY was real labour, I knew right off the bat. No questions asked.
Though its always good to get checked anyway if you're worried. :)

And YAY to the ladies with the periods!!! :haha:

I want MY period!! Still nothing- on day 40 now! I tested this morning - negative! Must just be my body trying to regulate after birth control. Anyone else struggle with this?
Hope all your little ones are excited for Christmas!! :)

Hope you get AF soon!!! Have you ever tried vitex? It is an herbal remedy. Not sure what all you are doing, or what your doc is up to yet, but it worked for me after I had my daughter. It regulates your period both ways so if its long it will help make you ovulate, if its short it helps even out the hormones.
