CD1 Starting clomid in 3 days... Let's Chat

I also got a pos opk with fmu this morning and then a neg tonight. Thats why I wanted to bd. LOL! I wanted to make sure. I wish he could somehow understand how this works. Sigh...
How many dpo are you bump ?

I am 8DPO today or 9 in a couple of hrs. I guess 9 just sounds better....ha. I know what you mean about wanting to get another in just in case. I hope we caught it. That's why I was freaking a little when fertility friend changed my O date to CD22 since we didn't BD after CD20 b/c of the UTI. TMI: It got so bad that by Tuesday I had blood in my urine!

What kinds of meds did the dr give you? She gave me Bactrim which I see isnt pregnancy friendly. I am hoping to be done with the meds before an implantation can occur.

Mine wasn't that bad either until I let it go for 4 days just thinking I could drink cranberry juice to get rid of it ....stupid! Anways, the doctor gave me macrobid b/c I specifically asked for a pregnancy safe antibiotic just in case. It was a 3 day dose.

Hmmmm. I asked for something pregnancy friendly too, and she knows that I am TTC as she gave me clomid 2 weeks and and preformed an HSG on me 1 week ago. LOL! I guess if she thinks its safe. lol

I'm sure it's safe if she prescribed it knowing you are TTC

I hope so, it says on the side of the bottle, "Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding" lol

I think all antibiotics (and most medicines in general) say that as a liability protection. I am sure she would prescribe something dangerous knowing you are TTC!!! Hope both you girls feel better soon! Those are so painful!

Katie - Men can be pretty damn dumb, huh? I mean HELLO, I HAVE NO PANTS ON...YOU KNOW IVE BEEN TTC FOR MONTHS...Ugh. Doesnt it feel like we have to do all the work and worrying?


I am having a negative morning. I dreamt all last night about getting BFNS. Then I read online about how sometimes large follicles with with clomid dont even produce an egg.. PLUS my temps are so low. Its all starting to add up...I dont see how if I had an egg that it wouldnt be producing enough progesteron to raise my temps... i want to to go in for a 7 dpo progesterone test but I dont think my RE will let me...He didnt suggest it.

My heart hurts already...and I still have 8 days of this. (WHAT A NEGATIVE NELLY I AM TODAY!)

Dont be neg TTC triplet, just try to relax and take it easy, stressing wont help. If it does not work then there is always next month. I am feeling better today so that is good.

Last night I took an ambien to sleep, and gave DH one too, Then he said his back hurt and he took a flexaril (muscle relaxer) and then we tried to have sex. Normally ambien is fine and we dont have any probs DTD with that, but the muscle relaxer really did us in. Husband was not into it. LOL.. Oh well I guess we will try again next month if it does not work out this month

Katie I am getting sick and this is not fun....this crazy weather but all will be good as long as I am better by the Middle of this week b/c then we HAVE to start BDing for the next week no questions asked lol and it seems like March 2nd is SO far away...I am hoping for a GREAT US this time around and then we will catch that egg Hope you are feeling better today!!

Hey hunnie I know my head feels heavy and I feel dizzy but I think that is because of sinus with this CRAZY weather. Tomorrow night it will be cold again. WTH? Mother Nature is killing me.

I am sure everything will be fine, maybe take some meds now so that you can be on top of your game by O time. What are you up to today?

Oh yes I am on top of all my meds Not really up to much today. We went to the lake yesterday so I am sure that did not help and now they want to go back...I think if they do I will stay home this time.....

I am doing pretty good. Feeling some abdominal twinges. I wonder if I released more than one egg and I wonder if they all come at the same time or what. What do you think?


I am not doing anything today. I am sitting here watching tv and on BnB. Hubs is playing a computer game. So nice to relax....

I would think that they would all release at the same time....is your dr. doing ultra sounds to see how many mature eggs there are to release??

hey girls is it normal to get twinges in your ovaries this early im taking my last clomid tablet tomorrow but ive just had and still have mild twinges on my right hand side feels strange doesnt hurt more like twinges but can defo feel something going on im getting a little excited and just told OH and he said they may be getting to work already lol but is this normal could this be a sign of early ovulation or have you experienced this while taking the tablets like i said its my 5th day tomorrow and my last tablet will be took, this seems abit early???

I got twinges when I took the pills days 206. I got them days 4 5 6. Hope that means its working

Take OPK to be sure 5-10 days after your last pill

thanks hun it only started about 20mins ago but i noticed it straight away its a twinging sensation only on my right side and its been doing it up until about 2mins ago! I hope that means its working fx!
