christmas eve box/bag?

hi,

does anyone have the radtion of a christmas eve box/bag?

we did it as kids and i did it with mine last yr for the 1st time. in it are the following:

new pjs for kids
slipper socks for everyone
xmas bubble bath (or similar)
an xmas dvd
popcorn or sweets
reindeer food
personalised stories for kids
christmas stockings
a key for santa as we have no chimney (doesnt fit my door - was an old 1)
instructions

1. sprinkle reinder food in garden
2. leave key outside under a stone
3. go have a bath with xmas bubble bath
4. get into new pjs and slipper socks
5. open popcorn or sweets
6. watch dvd
7. hang christmas stockings up
8. go to be and listen to stories
9. go to sleep and SANTA will come by morning.

Awww that's a very cute idea!!! So it's just one big bag with stuff for everyone in it? Or everyone gets a bag?

lovely idea...im gunna buy a few bits and put them in a bag too but just pjs, book and slippers

thats fine, i found it on net last year. i hope it helps and starts a new tradition for you. x

i guess you could do individual bags depending on how many kids etc but i did ours as 1 bag (plastic santa sack) and tied the top with ribbon.

there is no end to what you could add -

xmas cuddly toy
xmas colouring book n crayons
xmas cup, plate and bowl
xmas hairbobbles (girls)

mine are getting toothbrushes this year as they have chewed theirs!!! most of ours came from £1 shop last year apart from dvd and the stories i found on net for you to print. i copied and pasted to word so i could "edit" and add both boys names last year and have done the same for all 3 this year.

Such a great idea, we are def doing it next year, wish I had enough time to go get the stuff to put one together this year but we'll just do our normal pjs on xmas eve this year. Thanks for posting this
