Currently Reading??

Took a break from Game of Thrones and am reading Change of Heart by Jodi Picoult.

Darkly Dreaming Dexter...it's the books the TV series is based on, really good so far, I am watching the TV series ahead of the books though, waiting for series 7 of Dexter, but am only 1/4 way through book one! Eeks! Better read fast!

Before I Go To Sleep.
Oh and a book called Wonder by R.J Palacio (its not out yet but it's bloody fantastic)

half way through Snowdrops by A.D. Miller..... seems more like a short story after the tomes of The Pillars of the Earth and World without End! but am enjoying it so far...

I'm reading The Settlers of Catan novel, which I got for my Kindle for 99p. I love the game, but the book is even better- brilliant read, and very gripping so far!

I've just finished The Passage by Justin Cronin .... OMG!! what a book :cloud9:

It took me the whole weekend, snatched moments at work yesterday and a couple of hours yesterday evening - I just couldn't put it down

I treated myself to the entire Sherlock Holmes collection on my kindle for 86p - I'm really enjoying them! I'm 19% of the way through the series now :)

Right now reading Confessor by Terry Goodkind and listening to Pillars of the Earth. Both are really good.

I treated myself to the entire Sherlock Holmes collection on my kindle for 86p - I'm really enjoying them! I'm 19% of the way through the series now :)

I need to re-read those!

You might want to try the Mary Russell series by Laurie R. King after you read Sherlock. It's wonderfully connected!

Just finished three girls and a baby. A nice light read.

Going to start The Shadow wife by Diane Chamberlain.

Now I've got the kindle app sorted I'm hoping to read more this year. Not quite as delicious as the feel of a new book but very handy storage wise.

I've been devouring books this month!
Just finished Damned by Chuck Palahniuk. Excellent read - very very funny and original and strange.

And just before that, I read The Apothecary by Maile Meloy. A YA novel, but it sure didn't feel like one. Really ace writing. I am about to plow into some of her adult books.

I finished Catan, read all of The Girl Who Couldn't Say No yesterday, and planning on starting The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo...

have finished Snowdrops by A.D.Miller - not exactly what i expected of a Booker nomination, but was it an ok read. Interesting insights to life in Moscow and more of a psychological yarn than the thriller is pretends to be....

have started A Tiny Bit Marvellous by Dawn French for some light relief - not loving it so far but will give it a go

Just finished Liars and Saints by Maile Meloy - posted review in my reading thread! :)

Reading Call the Midwife by Jennifer Worth. For those of you not in the UK and therefore not able to watch the series on TV at present, they are the memoirs of the author, telling the tale of her time as a midwife in London's East End in the late 1950s. It's the first of three books, and I'm looking forward to getting stuck into those as well.

Just finished A Family Daughter by Maile Meloy - wonderful! I posted a review in my reading thread, but will say here that you really need to read both Liars and Saints, then A Family Daughter to really appreciate how clever and talented Meloy is.

And I just realized that this makes 10 books that I have read this month! And only two were light and fluffy. Maybe I am finally getting my brain back after babies? :)
