Day 4 of flashing smiley on CB ... Deflated!! CD14

So over the weekend my temp dropped below coverline, then back up the next day. I also got a pos. OPK and EWCM?? So needless to say. . .I have no idea what's going on! DH and I have been bd every other day just so we are covered. Grrr, why is this so hard!

Gahh how frustrating!! I've heard you get EWCM after you've ovulated, dunno tho?

I'm so stressed... In cd42 & no idea if I've really ovulated but no AF, and neg preg tests.. So shrug!! Spotted today too. Awesome -_- xxx

Nothing new here. . . just in the tww (I think). AF is due on Sep. 1st, so just waiting it out. No symptoms though. Nothing really out of the norm - maybe that's a good sign?! I don't really know anymore!! lol

I had similar about a year ago - ended up with no period, negative tests, etc...for about 4 months. It drove me up the wall, so I can imagine how frustrated you are right now!!

Is your GP helping at all with any of this?

Spotted yesterday (or day before?) with cramps so thought AF was coming but whatever it was, stopped! Rang up my doc and she said to cancel smear (which she did on the phone) and instead I'm going in Wednesday for an examination to check my cervix & take swabs. See if she thinks it's a period spotting (altho it's stopped again now) and then can check for infections etc, then can rebook smear in aswel as discussing about a scan to just rule out PCOS. I took a first response early response (on tueaday) and wasnt sure if it a faint + or I could just see the indent where the dye would be if it was positive kinda thing.. So that's why she cancelled my smear for now just incase I am pregnant (doubtful tho but would rather be safe) I was trying to get bloods done to check my HGC levels but apparently they don't do those anymore (bullshit) only do urine preg tests like I can do at home. But at least she's taking me seriously!! Its nice Ill get some answers / can rule stuff out soon (altho my results might come back whilst I'm on bloody holiday which is annoying) I took another first response yesterday but negative so deffo not pregnant, still no AF... Rah! Roll on docs on weds.
I'm going to Portugal on Friday thank god.. A week peace from all this frustration!

I caved and took a HPT this morning. . .a defo bfn. I feel out too, so have been a grump all day. . have a long weekend coming up though. Can't wait! I need some time to relax!

Hey hun, any sign of AF or a BFP??

I had some swabs taken but my cervix is red so possibly a little infection & that's causing the spotting. Hopefully just a little thrush or something & my body just decided to miss out a cycle that's all. Hopefully when I get back from holiday, AF will arrive just two months later x

I'm waiting to O right now. Not temping or anything this month. It was too stressfull for me!! Just going to start bd from today on and cross my fingers that this is the month!

I have a question. Ttc since August 2013' started using cb advanced opk in October 2013, BFP November 2013, MC EARLY LOSS Dec 2013. Ov issues post mc but regular cycles, revealed PCOS. Started metformin in May2014' ovarian drilling July 24th. AF came 30days after. Now this cycle I have been using both Wondfos and CB advanced and charting properly.

So here's my question.
Day 12 = high fert on CB FMU, ewcm.
CD 13 = high fert on. CB FMU. Evening test wondfo positive, ewcm, hard high cervix
CD 14 = high fert on CB FMU, Evening test wondfo negative, ewcm, TEMP SHIFT
CD 15= high fert on CB FMU, evening test wondfo negative, creamy cm
CD 16 = as above
CD 17 = peak on CB FMU, evening test wondfo still negative, sticky ewcm,
CD 18= as above
CD 19= both negative

So, the wondfo gave me postive on day 13, the ewcm was there and on day 14 my temp went up drastically and has stayed up. When I got the peak on CB, my temp had pre risen and cm was sticky.

What are your thoughts? Do you think the bc advanced has been giving me the wrong readings. Or the wondfo? Or am I still not ovulating despite surgery?

My chart auto added the ovulation date and dates me at 7dpk but if I only ovulated on day 18 I'm only 2dpo.

What do you think?

Maddy - nope no AF! I've been referred for a ultrasound to check for any cysts etc fingers crossed that's all fine too and it's just my pill being a douche on my body still :-/ I think not tracking will keep you a bit more same GL!
My OPKs are still showing strong lines so I've given up and trying to BD as often as we can... Altho it's not often cos we get tired and lazy lol! OH says what's the point, my body is broken. Great. Xx

Hi daisy! sorry about your mc gah your conflicting tests sound confusing!? Have you been DTD / BD on both positives yeah? So covering all bases.. I have no idea which would be telling the truth but I don't know what wondfo is (don't have those in the UK) so I would be inclined to say CB are more reliable... BUT I've had nothing but trouble with CB ovulation tests lol! Sorry I'm not much use hun. I would go by basal temp instead as that's a great indicator (I don't track BTT myself yet but I know that's a great way of tracking ovulation) xxx

Thanks for replying. I am in the UK. I ordered the wondfos on amazon as they are so much cheaper than CB.

My temps and cm, all point to the wondfo test on day 13 being correct. I just don't know why I'd get a second positive 3 days later on bc but the wondfo be a definite negative.

I've got the gyno on Tuesday the follow up to my op. So will see what he says.

It's just so disheartening 13mths now of Tcc and only 1 MC

Perhaps your first + was a positive... You
Tried to ovulate but didn't release an egg so it tries again and that's why you got another positive? Weird the brands showed different days though.

I'll have to look up wondfo's for myself

Im sorry it's so tough I'm 'only' on month 4 but its so bloody hard, I'm not even ovulating properly/having periods so makes things 10x hard!

Have you been to the docs? Get some 21day blood tests? Get a specilist referral. It's what I did when my ovulation when squiffy after the mc and they diagnosed pcos. I had regular AF though.

I wondered if what you suggested had happened, but the temp shift and cm says otherwise. Perhaps I just did O at all again this month.

Will see what specialist says on Tuesday.

What troubles have you had with CB ?

I'm wondering if the CB have been out every month.

Can't do the 21 day blood tests cos I'm not having periods to know when CD1... CD21 is. I've had swabs/internal and that's all come back clear for any infection, had my smear last week so awaiting results. Got a telephone consultation next Tuesday with Hosp to discuss and book in an ultrasound to check no cysts etc...
Next step will be requesting my doc to give me a blood test to check my hormone levels (to check for PCOS)

CB was fine the first month; i tested and had a solid smiley along side a positive cheaply opk:.. Then the month after I just had like 14 days of flashing smileys and I gave up. I then went to the pink cb where no flashing, just kinda yes or no... Had a positive on that.. Then like 5 days later had another positive. I guess my body doesn't have a clue, so the tests can't work properly.

It's so annoying. I'm really fed up. Just been to see the specialist for my post op follow up. Told him my pre op lovely regular cycles were were now messed up. And about my crazy time with the wondfo dip opk and the CB madness this month. Sounds similar to your situ.

He just said, we've treated the pcos. We've done this and that it was a success. Keep on the metformin. if no BFP by new year go back to the doctor get re reffered and we'll start you on clomid.

I asked why no clomid now, he said just wait and see what happens first.

I'm. Really annoyed. Then I fell out with hubby on way home, cause he said just got to stop all the tests and let what happens happen. Easy for him to say. And this month I have been trying to ignore everything. The only thing I've done is test and temp.

I have no idea when my AF is due. Could be 20th sept could be 25th I don't know cause I don't know which if either opk to trust.

I'm really annoyed.

that's so frustrating!! I guess they want your body to go back to normal as naturally as possible but it drives us insane. At least there's a plan in place but I understand why you're upset. Maybe go back for a second opinion with a diff doc in a couple weeks?

Thought I'd join you.. I'm on my 4th cycle of TTC no.2. Fell pregnant on my first cycle with my baby boy not having as much luck this time..

I've been using the CB digi and have been getting solid smileys around CD 6! I think this is so early...! After one of my friends agreed I carried on testing last month and got another solid smiley about a week later?! I sometimes never got a high and went from low to peak.

This month I've been using a CBFM and am on my 5th 'high' fertility day which is confusing me even more!
