Dear Mr. Storky,
For years now, I've been a very kind and supportive friend, sister, cousin, colleague, neighbour, aunt, and acquaintance. Whenever anyone in my life has gotten pregnant, I've felt joy for them, wished them well and meant it, bought them presents and dandied the babies on my knee with true pleasure and happiness. Even if my heart was breaking a little bit more each time I went through these episodes (and believe me, there were ALOT of them at one point).
Now, I'm really hoping it's my turn. And I hope you agree. I've worked hard and put in many hours of baby appreciation, friend support, and unpaid babysitting.
Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of time left. I'll be 41 in July. So if you could see it in your feathery heart to bring my little bundle as soon as storkly possible, I would be forever in your debt. Whatever you want, name it -- fish, crackers, grass... errr, sorry, not sure what storks actually eat.
Thanks for listening. Will be looking out for you flying my way soon.
S.
