Hi all, can I join please? My name is Carly and I am due on 16th December. This is our 1st baby...I am 7 weeks and 4 days today xx I have a private 8 week scan booked for next Wednesday and my 12 week scan is on the 7th June Good luck all and H&H 9 months to you all xx

Def looks like something! I am so happy for you and your 2 LOs. Equally a little bit jealous... I wish I could have twins and not go through the stress of another pregnancy but life is life!

7+5 from LMP, but baby #1 (the top one) measured 7+1 and baby #2 was 7+0, doc said perfectly natural for twins to be smaller so it looked great!!

Hi Ladies, Im Prego with my first. Been TTC for over 1 year and finally happened!! We are due on Dec 4th. Im a little over 8 weeks now and have had CRAZY MS.... although... Morning is the wrong word.. hehehe I've been naucious ALL day long..... Hoping it stops soon. Have an appt. on May 25th where I will get to hear the HB and my scan is scheduled for July 10 where I will find out the sex (Please be a girl!!!! but as long as its health is what really counts!)

Congratulations! Poor you though. I empathise as had terrible MS with my first 2. Pregnant with #3 now, very early days so not sick yet. Dreading it though! When did it kick in for you? I think from memory it was around 5-6 wks with second, can't remember first.

I'm hoping for a girl too, but same as you, just want a healthy happy baby so really not too fussed

HI, My MS started arount 5 1/2 - 6 weeks... This week is good so far (knock on wood!!!) I've actually been eating and not sick all day!!! It's a nice change I realy hope it stays this way. Im just happy that im craving fruits and Veggies cause I eat ALL the time.. How long did your MS last for your first 2? When did you start showing. In 9w5d and find im showing quite a bit!?!?!?! but atleast it looks like a baby bump and not like im fat!!!!

First one I was physically sick til about 7.5-8 months, anytime of the day. 2nd one was mainly just nausea and went through til about 26 wks. This time still nothing. I'm 5 + 4 now, but I've been hit with a terrible cold/flu over last two days. Feel like someones's smacked me across the eyes and head with a cricket bat. Just feel dreadful. Oh well, as long as baby's ok.

As for showing, I am already! I've written on a couple of other posts as its very early to be showing. Wanted to see if anyone else experienced that. With my first I don't think I started showing til about 18 wks. With my 2nd I think it was around 10 wks. I'm starting to wonder if there's more than one, but no scans booked as yet. I just have to wait. Do you know why some people get early scans in the UK and some don't? I had a dating scan at 5 wks with last pregnancy but that was in Oz. I'd love a scan just to make sure everything's going along as it should be. The only appt I have next is with midwife at 8wks.

Well I hope your MS stays away. You sound like you're eating very healthy. I'm not too bad, eating heaps, but mainly savoury stuff. I'm glad Easter is over!! Lol

I think they get early scans when its considered "high risk", my scan was only schedule for 19 weeks but then my Dr. asked if I wanted to get tested for DS ect. and said yes, so I will have a scan between 11 - 13 weeks (early june). I just cant wait to see the little .. My week is continuing to go good.... not very sick at all... except now im craving chicken wings... not very healthy.... with Franks red hot sauce (hope that's ok).... Next dr. appointment if May 25th where I will get my blood test results and see if I need any injections (I was not sure what I had in the past ect rubella ect.)

I hear you about easter.... It was hard to resist all that chocolate!!

Yep and Nope! Siggy shows it. Saw both heart beats at a beautiful 156bpm and my first 2 betas were low, doubling time was crazy though!! I actually had 2 tests 1 hour apart (one from the RE, the other from the base cause they wont take each others labs ) And the 1st of the 14dpIUI betas was 152, not even an hour later maybe 45 min, I had blood taken at the base and it was 179!!

Hi, I'm Chloe - this is my second pregnancy.
The midwife says i'm due on 8.12.12 (although with my first pregnancy they dated me 2 weeks further on than I thought I was... and I turned out to be right - so am slightly sceptacle re my due date again this time!)
My scan date is set for 1.6.12.

He already has twin boys from a previous marriage and says it's exhausting. I'm sure it is, but it's double the fun and love too! I was on clomid when we conceived, so there is a slim chance! Either way though, I just feel blessed to be pregnant!

What dosage did you take? And did they see how many follices grew or are you just on the meds? It wasn't until I took 150mg that I produced more than 2 follicles. This last round I made 4 20x25 mm follicles and 1 18x20 follicle. I also knew I dropped 2 eggs since I had 2 corpus leutums, but when they didn't see the second twinnie on the first scan, I figured it didn't get fertilized

First scan went well. Dr. says everything is happening exactly as it should for 5+6. We saw the sac and fetal pole and the heartbeat. I go back on May 23rd for my second scan which would put me at 8+5.

Nope. I was just on the meds and only 50mg. So, don't think I'll be having twins! That's ok though! One healthy baby= one happy mommy!


What is everyone doing for Mother's Day? Are we allowed to celebrate it for ourselves yet???

I'm Jenny and I'm due sometime in December. I had a scan two weeks ago, thinking I was 7 weeks but the tech said it was too early to see anything. So we think I was only 4 or maybe 5 weeks then. Dr. told us to go back in a month for another scan so we're planning to go back on the 18/05/2012.
I've also recently learnt that having a tilted uterus makes it more difficult to see/find the baby in the first trimester. So I'm trying not to get my hopes up to see much at the next scan either. But at least it helps to have that information.
