I'll be testing around the 29th. We probably will be testing buddies. Hopefully we start off the new year pregnant . That would be great!

I was hopeful to have a bfp so that we could announce while family is in town for the holidays. It’ll be Boxing Day through the first few days of January, so idk if we’ll know that soon.
Each year I’m in charge of the oven mitt game around Christmas. I wrap 2 presents many, MANY times. Everyone circles up and one person starts trying to unwrap wearing oven mitts and the person to their left rolls dice. When that person hits doubles, it becomes their shot to throw on the mitts and unwrap until their neighbor rolls doubles and so on. It’s lots of fun and I thought to put a travel mug with note saying the family is growing. Haha! Just seems like a fun way to say so. We see that side of the family most Independence Days also so if we miss Christmas, perhaps i’ll still do that but with patriotic oven mitts. Lol

Y’all should try that game btw. Little gifts work great because it has to appeal to everyone. One year I wrapped an orange chocolate, another year the encyclopedia of hot sauce (that everyone ended up trying and burning their mouths out!), and once it was a solar charging block. Our family is tough because we have teenage girls involved, a man in his 70s, and now our 3 yr old boy will likely participate. Difficult to find something fun. This year, one gift is a construction hard hat that I put a giant sticker reading “zip tie certified”.

Anyways, I digress. Im looking forward to opk testing and then of course the end of tww testing!

Im on cd9. Watching my opks and they’re getting a bit darker so that’s nice! While breastfeeding they’ve stayed at a consistent darkness, not faint but not positive. At least im seeing changes since my first pp period.

Cd12 for me so possibly another 6ish days until I ovulate this is the worse part in the cycle the waiting to ovulate xx

Looks like I’m ovulating WAY earlier than typical (cd15 today and just got my peak… usually I don’t get a peak until cd 19-21 so I’m extremely surprised by this). Which means we’ve technically dtd in my fertile window… I haven’t been able to get pregnant the last few years unless we dtd day of positive opk so I still would bet against pregnancy this cycle, especially with my age, but if my period doesn’t come I’ll test in January. I say now… I really want to not test early this time for several reasons, mostly cause I’ll be traveling all over the country and not home until 1/7. We’ll see…
