oh i love love love your pictures :D i wish i had your skill :( i am sooo lazy at the moment.

how much did each item roughly cost you to make?

I'm a big saddo and have it all worked out for my "What Xmas Cost" List.

The mouse was basically just scraps of wool I already had, so nothing.
The Mug Hugs were the same. (Got mugs for about £1 each in poundstretcher)
The wool used is cheap though so even if you had to buy it it wouldn't cost an awful lot.

Got a fab bargain on the jars (I think it may have been a processing error) where I got 6 of them for £1.67, so...
pots of gold cost £3 (they also have a scratchcard inside)
bath salts and scoop cost £2.70

Snowman soups worked out at 55p each.

thats great my minimal spend christmas and i have spent about £900 and have almost nothing to show for it :(

I think sometimes time just runs away then it's too late to start anything. I had my plans thought out since the summertime so just been working away slowly on the projects I'd decided to do. I'm normally not quite so organised!

understand i had time planned out but stuff just keeps happenings not had to 2nd to myself was going to start this weekend then got admitted to hospital on thursday morning just my luck lol still in bed at the moment the snow is here now and not looking too good  my MIL is going to take us out to get some shopping then might be a case of staying put until it passes. so might have time to do stuff then so might get some stuff for DIY projects while i am out lol

Life getting in the way! Grr! :hugs: hope you're better soon x

yip its mostly the fertility treatment thats getting in the way with no positives

anyone know the best and cheapest place to get suitable base for hampers? such as basket etc?

Home Bargains have baskets from £1.99 and red line christmas baskets around £3.99

thanks hun will try and get to one at some point lol

Just bumping this.

I have done my hampers, just making Christmas Pudding cake pops and Christmas tree cupcakes. Gonna make some fudge this weekend.

Me and hubby can't afford to buy each other anything any ideas what I can make for him? I' ve done a photo book in the past, is ipod is full of songs....what can I do?

Hi all, just thought i'd share with you all, I just made some homemade baileys :headspin: It's so delicious, just like the real stuff, but if you don't have a lot of money and you have some whiskey lying around, this is great

Homemade Baileys recipe mmm
I've also made cheese straws and christmas ginger bread for snacking on :happydance:

And on a present note, I have made salt dough tree decoration and magnets for all the family and I have knitted various things, Hats, mittens etc. I just have a couple of things left to knit and then i'm done and I can just enjoy all the treats :munch:

i am raging after our fertility treatment went sooo wrong everything is in the crapper for me now i haven't managed to do everything and doubt not DIY christmas is going to be very possible ahhhh
