Sophia Vergara? Really? U know whats funny? A lot of guys think shes hot but a lot of hispanic men I know do not like her at all. My husband thinks she is ugly and so does my brothers. I wonder what the appeal of her in the states is. Isn't she with that Italian guy from Magic Mike. Think his name is Joe? I will say this though, when she is all made up she does look great for her age.

We are doing fine, thanks for asking Laura. Apparently, Sofia wants the embryos destroyed since she is no longer with her ex. So the ex is pro life and doesn't believe in destroying the embryos. Although I am semi pro life (I say semi because I do believe if the mother's going to die she has the right to live even if that means removing the fetus/baby and because of that some would say I am pro choice) I really don't know what to make of this situation. Its a tough one. Never thought of that scenario.

What a pickle Sofia and her ex are in! I'm surprised their attorneys didn't have papers (like a prenup, but pre-embie) together for such an event! You'd think at 42 she'd entertain keeping the embies

Allergies: I don't suffer too poorly. I get foggy headed and occasional headaches. Pierce has been sneezing and getting a runny nose. I'm going to go to a local bee keeper and pick up some honey for us, I hear that helps.

Glad Simon is improving! I bet he will love when he can get his hands on the chicks! Pierce thinks it's great when he gets to pet an animal, I couldn't imagine how he'd react to handling a chicken! What fun you will have!

I don't typically take any medication for it. I try herbal teas and use the Neti Pot. Pierce is a doll, but has recently started having HUGE tantrums. I can't help but to giggle at how worked up he gets...I give him a few minutes to kick and scream, then I scoop him up and force cuddles on him to diffuse the situation. Has the tantrum thing been an issue with you?

Oh yes!! Sophie has a temper and its quite easy to tick her off! The only thing is when she gets a tantrum she gets over it very quickly. So I am thinking at least she won't hold grudges?? Lol It is quite cute the way she gets when she's mad. Her face and body get bright red and she pouts her lips out. Of course I try not to laugh or smile though because it enrages her (feels humiliated easily).

Angel, speaking of tantrums. Sophia had a huge tantrum earlier and I couldn't help but laugh and she ran up to me and smacked me! I learned my lesson. U know what, I don't remember Natalie or Aly doing this. Poor thing is very frustrated lately. She only has 8 teeth but a hug molar is still breaking through her gums. Have u found what works for Pierce when he has a tantrum? Distracting him maybe?

Jess ~ It's sad and funny when they have their moments. Pierce will not be distracted when he is in the throes of a tantrum. I scoop him up after a couple of minutes and attempt to calm him by talking in a hushed voice...sometimes it works, sometimes I get head-butted! Like you, I try to avoid getting a fat lip! Little stinker!

So the lake thing didnt happen yesterday but I just went for a walk around the lake by my work and it was nice and peaceful.

Oh a walk around the lake does sound peaceful! We're going to our cabin the first week of June to get away from the hustle of the beach! Currently it's spring breakers, blink and it'll be Memorial Day--the kick off of tourist season :/

I am sorry to just now get around to replying you guys. I've been feeling depressed so I just do the minimal in a day.
Long story short: his new job disappeared. They won't say it, they have in limbo, but it is what it is. So he is looking some more. We aren't doing bad but I still stress.
But I guess the silver lining is that I have lost some weight? I'll take what I can!

Jess and Angel, tantrum central here too! Since L now beats her head when throwing a fit I put her in her pack n play and walk away until she cools down. Phew.

Laura hon, so sorry you've been feeling down. Also sorry about the psychologist test results. What I am hoping is that Simon defies those odds and despite the test results I know that he will continue to surprise and amaze u. Wish I could see a recent pic of him. He is affectionate, right? I bet he loves cuddles!

Bethany, that is terrible what u and your dh are going through! Do those people even care or realize the huge gamble u took moving to another state? You and your dh deserve far better than that. I hope and pray your dh gets the job of his dreams (or at the very least a good and stable job) as soon as possible. So sorry for the problems u are going through hon.

Ladies, I have my own worries about Sophia. She is NOT affectionate. She gets very overwhelmed when u try to cuddle or kiss her. I know all kids are different, but what I worry about is her having some kind of sensory issues. But then again my dh is a lot like this. Anyways I'll ask the doc. She also mispronounces a lot of words and tends to cut them off. Like instead of saying, "The dog!!", she says "Da daw!!" She doesn't pronounce the th in the and she drops the g in dog. She will try to say bottle but instead says "bo-ull". She can't say the t in bottle. She is starting to talk more but def behind some kids her age. I guess I will ask the doc about this too. She is far ahead of Natalie and Aly were when it comes to her physical abilities, playing catch, started running and a bunch of other things very early, but she is not affectionate (both girls were very affectionate) and a lot less verbal. I know I shouldn't be comparing, but I can't help but worry.

Angel, sounds like fun the trip to the cabin. How busy does it get there during tourist season? It must be nice and peaceful to get away from it all. Hows Pierce doing? Hope he hasn't given u and fat lips or head butts.. Its so interesting because looks gentle and cuddly in his pics, I could never imagine him getting temperamental. I guess this means he won't take crap from anybody and defend himself. One thing I know for sure. He is so cute, he is sure to be a heart breaker when he grows up!!
