Grrr I had a HUGE post written out and it got delete. I even thought about copying my text just incase it didnt post and I hit the post button too fast. Grr. So let me try this again...

First off... MASSIVE HUGS to everyone!!!! I dont know why there is a dark cloud over us (for some big, some small) at the moment but Im ready for this storm to pass already!

Bethany, Im so sorry that you are feeling down. I still cant believe that your DH's job would have you all move and just bail on you like that. Im praying that this move has led you to a place that will bring bigger and better things for you. No matter whether you decide to stay in NM or decide to move back to TX, Im hoping and praying for the best for you guys.

Laura, Its completely understandable for you to have the fears that you have. Although the Dr's say that he will need a little help, he seems to keep pushing himself and thrive. I hope he continues to do that and surprises everyone. No matter what, you know he is happy and that comes from you. Continue to do what you are doing.... you are the best mommy he couldve asked for.

Jess, Im sorry to hear about your fears regarding Sophia. Like you said though, it may just mean that she is more like her daddy personality wise. She sounds like she is strong willed and a lot of people I know in my life that are like that are very successful. Hope the Dr can confirm that all is ok and give you peace of mind hun.

Angel, How is P doing? Time at your cabin sounds amazing! Hope you guys have a great time! :)

Leslie, Hope you and the girls are doing well!

A1983, hope all is well with you.

Hope I didnt miss anyone  Happy Hump Day Lovelies! :flower:

Awww big :hugs: Amy! Thx so much for the reassuring words about Sophia. You actually put my mind at ease. And u are totally correct about Sophie being strong-willed. Lol. She can also be stubborn. I am still learning how to handle her type of personality and trying to accept the fact that she is just not very affectionate. How are u feeling? You should try to enjoy and relax (easier said than done) these next few weeks before your transfer. Have any plans with dh? Like a nice movie, or maybe a night at a fancy hotel?

I tried to post yest
But my phone dud it's stupid freezy thing it does.
We r ok again here.
Munchkin is half sick but not bad
Just cuddly and a bit off form

Love to all xxx

Laura, sorry to hear S is not feeling 100% :( Hope he feels better soon hun.

Jess, Im glad to hear! Have you made an appt with the Dr? As for getting away, we talked about it and might go somewhere for the day or a night or something. We tend to like day trips because we like sleeping in our own bed lol. I really would like to just travel somewhere and actually take a vacation. Anytime we travel, its always to see family or friends which is great but I would like to go somewhere and do nothing with DH hahah. Oh well... some day. lol

Bethany, hope you are doing ok!

Angel & Leslie...

Bethany ~ What a bummer :/ I was really hoping you would love NM and things would work out for your DH. Fx'd this chapter of your life closes quickly! PS if you're open to living anywhere, the East Coast misses you!

Laura ~ Sorry about Simon's psych eval...it's all part of his beautiful nature. I'm glad you've bounced back from that news. He is a beautiful boy with the most amazing Mommy xoxo Give him hugs from us and tell him to get well soon!

Amy ~ Did AF come on? She is here with me in full force :witch: By the way, how is your Dad?

Jess ~ Sounds like Sophia says words like Pierce does, *dink for drink *otts-eye for outside. I believe some kids take a hot minute to really articulate their words. The tongue is a muscle that has to learn where to go and how to move to make and combine sounds. She'll get it, glad her vocab has increased! She sounds like an amazing tot!

AFM ~ So my bro's baby is much worse off...the cardiologist was surprised he has made it this far (34 weeks). He is measuring small 30th percentile, head only in the 5th percentile. The surgeon here says he isn't comfortable attempting repairs, so they've sent the babies echoes to CHOP for a second opinion. So so sad...my poor brother and SIL. Now we wait to see what they recommend should he survive birth and be eligible (surgery, heart transplant or let nature take its course).

On a less serious note, Pierce is 33lbs---the pediatrician didn't say anything, but I'm wondering if I should start cutting calories? He doesn't eat unhealthy, he just has a big appetite...

OMG Angel poor things!!! They have got to just be on pins and needles and beyond stressed. I'm so so so sorry to hear this :( Sometimes I think about things that Im hurt and saddened by and then hear stories like theirs and it humbles. Ill say a prayer for them and really hoping that there is something the drs can do. My heart goes out to them. :(

Dad is doing well thanks for asking hun :) And CD3 for me today :)

My God, Angel, so sorry for what your family is going through :nope:. Just so heartbreaking. Praying that your brother and his wife has the best outcome possible. Pierce sounds perfectly healthy to me. He might slim down or just always be a tad bit heavier due to a big and strong bone structure. Sophia has slimmed down a lot but we just weighed her and she is between 31 and 32 lbs and u wouldn't think so if u saw her. She is slender but just big. Big arms, big legs. My husband says she is built for battle! Lol. These kids grow so fast! She has just grown into a size 8 shoes!! Poor thing is going to have big feet when she grows up. Hopefully she won't have a complex like Aly does. Btw, they sell these cute shoes at Nordstrom called Mini Melissa, they fit Sophia so nicely. Take a look at them when u get a chance they are really darling and fit so nicely. I think they only sell them for girls though. But, on my quest to find Sophia great fitting shoes I finally found them with her Mini Melissa's. I get really excited about her shoes! Lol!

Hi Amy, glad to see your dad is doing good. Hope u and your dh will get the chance to have some quality relaxing time together, whether it be at home or on a mini vacation! :hugs:

Thank you ladies for the prayers for my family. As soon as they hear from the cardio surgeon at CHOP I'll update.

Amy I'm glad your Dad is doing well...one less stressor for you :flow: Now have you started taking meds for the transfer? Maybe I need to hop over to your journal!

Jess ~ Pierce has a pot belly, 34" and 33lbs. Strangers look and say, oh boy he'll be a line backer! I'm thinking now it's warmer out, so we'll both be out more and both get to shed some unwanted pounds ;) So glad you've found shoes that work for Sophia! Mini Melissa sounds so cute! She is in the same size shoe as my gf's 2 1/2 year old! Sophia is going to be super tall, you might as well start teaching her a runway walk! Hehehe!

Laura ~ Hope you guys are well :hugs:

 ladies! TGIF!

Yes, started BCP last night but still waiting on the CCS results. :(

Happy Friday everyone!!! Hope you all have a great weekend!

Angel hugs
Hope lil baby pulls through
so hard on ye all xxx

I wouldn't cut p food
If eating healthy which I'm sure he is
Then I def wouldn't
Like u said when out more he will be more active
He could shoot up even more someday and thin out more
He looks like he already has thinned in pics
Xx

Simon giving out
I'll be back

Hi ladies!

Thanks Laura, Pierce is "stretching" out a bit. I'm going to have to pay more attention to his snacks (between the girl that helps, DH and myself, we might be over doing it). Are you guys feeling better? My allergies officially caught up with me, my nose won't stop running and I sneeze non stop! I'm afraid it will turn into a sinus infection (yikes!). I have a love hate relationship with Spring :flow: :flow: :flow: How are the chicks?

Happy Monday!

How's Leslie? Anyone heard?

Hi girls!!!

Angel, I think Leslie's girls are still in the NICU but are doing well and are on track to come home soon. So excited for her!! :) Also, same here regarding allergies... I too love spring but hate what it does to my nose!

Laura, how are you and S doing?

Bethany, Jess, Leslie...

Happy Monday to everyone and anyone I have missed!

Thanks for the Leslie update Amy. I imagine she has her hands full-literally!

G'mornin everyone!

Angel, any updates on your SIL?

Laura, any word on the EEG?

Jess, Bethany, & Leslie...

Nothing new yet, I don't recall where I left off on here, so to recap:

Cardio Surgeon here said he isn't comfortable doing any surgeries due to one the leaky valves, two David's small size and three the time he would have to be under anesthesia. Basically is isn't comfortable with stage surgeries ie 2 surgeries in 1 (repair valves and do Norwood). Sooo, they are going to Philly (CHOP) on Friday for a full eval with one of the leading pediatric cardio docs. There they will find out officially what they should expect (surgery, transplant or nature).

Hope you all are well! We're finally passing this cold! I went for recurrent miscarriage blood draw today...originally I was going to just let it go, but my heart often weighs heavy when I think about my recent mc's and maybe this will give me closure
