Gestational diabetes

Has anybody been told they have this and is it being controlled by diet or insulin. I found out today i have it and have to go and see diabetic clinic next week.

I had to have a glucose tolerance test a couple of weeks ago but it came back clear. I had drunk a bottle of lucozade before my first lot of bloods so they think that's all it was.

Sorry I can't give you any advice but I didn't want to read and run... Hopefully you can get it under control!

As far as I am aware they try to control gestational diabetes with diet. But it'll depend on circumstances. You should see a dietician when you go to the diabetes clinic next week though. They should book you infor a growth scan too hun.
