Girls with Endo............. :-) :-) :-) :-)

Hi gem, no af since April!!!???

Yep, there is definitely stuff they can give you. I have totally blanked out on the name. Is it provera? I'm probably mixing med names up so don't quote me. In any case, I have read a number of posts where the girls where given these pills to kick-start their cycles. I'll ask Megg if she can help. She knows everything!!!

The injection should have lasted to July . So technically it's since July . Around 3 months I've been waiting on it to return ! Let me know !want to be informed for going in nov ! X

Hi Petitpas ,

Sorry to hear your back to TTC. Hopefully you will be able to TTC sooner rather than later :hugs:

I was given decapeptyl last October as I was in agony and was made to think it was the only option for myself after my operation . Had 3 , 3 monthly injections. Had my last on the 19th of April - when I eventually got the balls to say what I wanted .

But AF hasnt returned . Getting alot of endo symptoms . but no AF - tried temping but I think the decapeptyl may still be in my system as my temps where erratic and FF said id ovulated around 27 days ago . But no AF

got the Consultant again in November . Do you think that there is anything she can give me to bring on AF?

Thanks and :dust: and :hugs:

Provera will bring on AF! That's what I'd be asking for. I've used it several times, and its always done the job perfectly!

petitpas is correct... perhaps she didn't need to ask me after all! :winkwink:

Hey ! thanks for the replys ! I take it I need to get it from a consultant ? Or could I get my Gp to perscribe it ?

Will Call and make an appointment with Gp tomorrow ! and see what he says !

Thanks so much Megg33k and petitpas!!! xxxxx

Sorry to hear you're back to ttc petitpas. Hope you're journey here is short.

Good luck getting something for your cycles Gem x x

Hey how is everyone?...

I'm CD9 and the BDing has begun! Thinking of going back to see my GP to ask for advice about my endo and why it's no better after the lap. Considering seeing Dr Trehan in Leeds privately; he specialises in excision and might be able to actually remove all of it.

Hope everyone is ok x

Hm, I see you've been ttc-ing 11 months. My endo specialst told me to come back and see him if I didn't conceive within 6. I assume his plan would have been to speed things along for instance with clomid or similar? It's definitely worth seeing a specialist!!!

I'm still waiting for the bleeding to stop so that I know when my af comes along. Will probably start temping again next week...

Thanks petitpas. Originally I just asked to see a private gyno cause didn't know it was endo. He did the op and removed it (apparently!) and said that it would be usual to look into fertility issues after 18 months!!! I haven't actually seen an endo specialist. Where abouts are you? I've only found one specialist about 1 1/2 hours away who says he likes to do a lap straight away to see what he's dealing with. Then excision. He doesn't even mention fertility on website.
I'm considering seeing him, but it would mean another lap and may or may not help. x
Don't really know what to do at all x
Hope you're ok

Hi sweets,
There is a list here with doctors recommended for endometriosis. My consultant (who I can personally recommend), Mr James English, is on there, too.
I've heard over the grapevine that the Benenden hospital in Kent is specialised in endometriosis.
Where in the UK are you?
Maybe someone else on here can recommend a good specialist close to you?

If you're in a lot of discomfort it's probably worth seeing a specialist and seeing what they say, even it does involve the suggestion of another lap as one of the options.

In general (i.e. endometriosis aside), I think your GP can refer you to see a fertility specialist after you've been trying to conceive for 12 months.

hey everyone , hope your all good! Meggs and petitpas - big thanks for your suggestion of medication! i am just about to start tablets tomorrow so hopefully af will be here soon!!! ( bet you thats one of the few times I ever say that on here)

Floofymad- started reading that book ! its really interesting! x

Well I don't want to tempt fate or anything, but I've been avoiding wheat kind of since last week, but properly not had any since the wknd. Pains this week don't seem to be anywhere near as bad and not as bloated. Also hardly had any caffeine, sugar, and eaten more fruit, veg and salad. Could also be the dandelion root which I've been taking since the wknd.

Don't seem to have ovulated yet - running late this month! lol.

Hope everyone else is ok x

Hey everyone !! Just popping in to see how things are with everyone .
I'm almost pain free today!! :) maybe i'm getting a wee break for a day! hope so! xx

Hi all, How's everyone?
Gem - hope you're still pain free?.... x

I booked myself an acupuncture appt for a week on Monday. The girl was lovely and seemed to know a lot about endo and how to solve the problem! Feeling hopeful she can help me, even if it is going to cost a fortune! x

Ooooh, I like the positive tone in here these days :)
I'm going for a reflexology session tomorrow evening - bliss!

Ooh I considered Reflexology petitpas. Does it relax you or help with endo or both? ... I'm having reiki tomorrow night. Hoping to be healed some more x

The reflexologist reaffirmed my femininity :)
I didn't ask specifically for endo treatment (although there are some things they can do, apparently) or fertility. She basically gave me a normal session and then added on a rebalance of my hormones. She gave me a good linking of the uterus points. It sounds odd, but it was very nice! You should try it sometime.
Let me know how the reiki goes because I've never had that and don't even know how it's done!

Hey girls! AF is HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Very sore and heavy ! but at least its here ! So I would class this as CD1 ?

Thanks so much petitpas for suggesting provera and for megg to ! without your suggestions I would still be sitting waiting and waiting .

I started spotting today, too, so for me cd1 is tomorrow. We're almost in sync :)
I'm hoping for nicely regular cycles for you now :hugs:
