Fraser Black, played by Jesse Birdsall, is the unlucky victim who will meet an untimely demise in a dramatic new plot.
Hollyoaks bosses have confirmed the news in their new spring trailer, which previews a number of future storylines.
Local gangster Fraser has already upset many of the village's residents and will make enemies of several more in the build-up to his death.
A Hollyoaks source told Digital Spy: "The village will be left not puzzled about who had a motive, but who didn't. Residents will be looking across the dinner table not knowing if they are sharing mealtimes with the person responsible."
Birdsall joined the cast of Hollyoaks last summer as a new on-screen love interest for Sandy Roscoe.
A few weeks later, Fraser was revealed to be Trevor Royle's boss and the mastermind behind the recent criminal activity in the village.
Other revelations in Hollyoaks' spring trailer include the confirmation that Joe Roscoe (Ayden Callaghan) will wake up from his coma in the near future.
The promo also includes footage of the tragic outcome of Sinead Roscoe's suspicions over baby Katy's health, John Paul McQueen's upcoming judgement day in court and Maxine Minniver's concern as she fears that she is pregnant.

I think this too. I think he'll make out she's been having an affair as another way to control and hurt her. I don't like this storyline though, I know it actually happens but it makes me uneasy watching it.

Viewers will see Freddie (Charlie Clapham) decide to take action as Sinead continues to struggle with having no contact with her baby daughter Katy.
The final straw comes when Sinead (Stephanie Davis) films herself reading a bedtime story for baby Katy but her stepmum Diane refuses to accept it.
Sinead is devastated that she can't even be a good mum to Katy from afar, so Freddie vows to help and approaches her brother Finn (Keith Rice) after coming up with an idea.
Confronting Finn, Freddie warns that he will tell everyone about the teenager's violent attack on Nana McQueen unless he finds a way to help Sinead see Katy.
Fans will have to wait to see the outcome of Freddie's threat, but it comes as part of a big week for the O'Connor family.
As previously reported, Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) will be delighted when Diane finally forgives him for his dodgy dealings with Trevor Royle, so he decides to speedily arrange a surprise wedding for her.
Wanting to celebrate, Tony accidentally takes one of Ste Hay's drug-laced wine bottles home with him. When he finds the drugs, he panics and hides them in the flat.
The next morning, Tony is pleased when Diane (Alex Fletcher) agrees to marry him that day, but he soon makes another big mistake by confronting Ste about the drugs with Sinead in earshot.
With Sinead furious that she hasn't been invited to the wedding, she decides to get revenge by tipping off the police about the drugs. As a result, the police come calling at the flat just as Diane is about to leave for the ceremony…

Maxine (Nikki Sanderson) has recently been tasked with keeping the village clean following her court ordeal, but she is desperate to make sure that Patrick doesn't find out about her punishment.
Unfortunately for Maxine, the truth is revealed to Patrick (Jeremy Sheffield) at the worst possible moment as he spots her washing graffiti off the walls at the folly while he is supervising a school field trip.

Later that day, Dennis Savage (Joe Tracini) heads to the couple's flat to return their pet dog Dexter after looking after the pooch for the day.
To Dennis's horror, he overhears Patrick violently lashing out at Maxine from the other side of the door. How will Maxine react when she is confronted about Patrick's abuse?

The guy who plays Fraser was in Footballers' Wives, and married to Gillian Taylforth's character, as I recall. He was also in Eldorado (yes, I admit to watching that hehehe).
edit: Just googled it and the other gangster (who kidnapped Grace? Surprised I didn't recognise him) was in Footballers' Wives too as Jason. Footballers' Wives was funny.
