i dont think its taking away the focus on him because lets face it if you could allow someone to do that to your own child you would have to be a nutjob!

i think its more shocking to most of us as mothers that she would willingly allow this to happen to her daughter - your main instinct as a parent is to protect your child not offer them up to a pedo!

Reading through this a lot of women say that they don't understand how they could do it, of course you can't, you're not sick in the head or fucked up like them. You're normal and love children the right way.

What they *may* have done is sick, vile and absolutely disgusting. They should both be shot or killed imo, but I'm an abuse victim so it really hits my core.

I fear for what our world is coming to, I really do. It's scary and messed up. I fear badly for my child. The world is getting worse day by day. Sad times. When my Nan was a little girl she could walk around naked or leave her front door open with no fear.

I've looked again through several more reputable sources, just read the indie article on it and I must say there is no mention of the identity of the two women, any gossip seen on other forums hardly constitutes as evidence, this is turning into a witch hunt, there is no reason to assume the mother or any relative had involvement, guessing and just picking out names floating on the internet is why so many are against the media getting hold of stories.

Agreed. I don't understand why people think the world is becoming so much worse..we just hear about it more now. Maybe it's a good thing that it gets reported more?


That said...I do think the internet etc. makes things a lot worse, i'm sure there are many people who would've had those urges but just leave them be, but with access to the net so many people are able to 'satisfy' that curiosity and meet like-minded people, whereas perhaps before they wouldn't have acted on it.

Just read on the DM they are looking for some lady in the US who was filmed abusing a 4-5 year old child. I don't think these things are on the increase but definitely these people are getting more and more blatant and the police know what they're looking for as well xx

Really really wish I hadnt dug around on the internet, have found pics and videos that are horrible (not of children just of him doing thing with men, women, objects, anything he can find)

The bbc.quoted one of the mother's as saying "she needs to know mummy and daddy don't love her" as she gave him her daughter. Truly sickening. And as he's been under a psychiatrist for a while it's likely he can use that to get a lighter sentence. Has anyone seen the latest picture of him? He's not really recognisable. Hope they all rot, what he done was terrible but what those mothers done countless times is the most horrific betrayal, lets hope those kids are happy and safe now.
