*Important question about timing*

Okay, I just thought of this. I am assuming I am on CD 7 today - leaving me with 9 days until ov. I haven't been temping, I was supposed to stop and get a BBT last week but didn't do it. Maybe I will today, but anyways. I was expecting AF on September 5th and she didn't show up completely until September 7th. Is the 7th CD 1 or the 5th? I had a good amount of spotting that was brown-turned-pink on the 5th and 6th. I want to try and make sure we catch my fertile times and I'm a little confused.

i woudl say go for the earlier date as you still spotted! to me thats CD 1 ....i often start with spotting!!

hun you count cd1 as the first day of a proper bleed so if you had a proper bleed on the 7th then that is what you count as cd1.

Thanks, I wasn't sure. I definitely had a good amount of spotting but there was no "flow" until the 7th.
