Introducing Baby Samantha....**Update page 31**

congratualtions on the birth of Samantha.

Hope she continues to grow stronger xxx

Aww what an amazing story Samantha's a true fighter & i'm sure she will continue to thrive take care xxxx

Hey hun :hugs:

I just wanted to add some encouraging words... my best friend had her daughter at 25 weeks (she was just 1 lb and 9 oz when born) and her daughter stayed in the NICU for almost 4 months and had several operations... but her birthday was 2 weeks ago and her little angel is 8 years old (not so 'little' anymore!) and is super smart and the top of her class!

I know it's tough in the beginning especially with so many uncertainties, but Samantha will do great and she'll be home before you know it!

congratulations to you both x x x she is beautiful ...

Oh my gosh! She's beautiful :cloud9:
Congratulations on her safe arrival. I'm willing away the next 13 weeks for you so she can be home with you xx

Hope and pray for the best for Samantha!

XoXoXo

Im a teacher and teach 2 girls, one now 14, one 13 who were both born at 27 weeks. Sending love your way x

hiya just wanted to see how your both doing? hope samantha is keeping strong and you and your hubby are too xx

Samantha was transferredto Sick Kids hospital for the night to see an ear nose and throat specialist. The day after she was born she was fighting her breathing tube and all her tests pointed to her not needing it. So the dr's had taken her off anther lung collapsed. They had a really hard time getting the tube back in and it caused a small bleed from all the forcing and a small bleed in her head from her stressing out. So the specialist is going to figure out what's up with her throat and chest area. See if there's a problem or if she is just underdeveloped. But she is super happy and stable right now.

awww bless. cant imagine what your going through, hopefully its nothing to worry about, only time will tell get well and strong samantha xx

Strong and Stable sounds good hun, keeping everything crossed for you xx

My thoughts are with you & your strong baby girl.

My OH was born at 26 weeks with cerebral palsy & he's a happy adult with no complications (from being preemie)

good luck she sounds like such a little fighter.

i hope everything is in the clear and its just cause shes still so tiny.....take care you guys! <3

Keeping you all in my prayers! Sick Kids is an amazing hospital! xo

Yes I have heard they are amazing. I want to go see her so bad. She's been alone since Sunday. My husband has to work and I'm still trying to recover. I wish we were closer. 11/2 -2 hours away feels like a million miles. Imiss her so much and wish this c-section crap would just heal so i could hop incite bus and go.
