January Hopefuls...What's next for us???

So I am starting a January thread. My December thread was getting long & started to fade.

For me, January is basically an up in the air month. Lots of doctor appts & just wondering what is next. I just finished 3 rounds of clomid. Currently I am on vitamin supplements & fertilitea. Not sure if it will work. Oh & also baby aspirin. So I am still crossing my fingers, but not holding my breath. I really feel we will be headed to IUI after the January cycle.

I think I am on CD 9. The fertilitea is causing some major cm...which I am happy about. It is also making me feel more in the mood. Which sucks because we are abstaining so my husband can get another analysis tomorrow morning. So after that, it is ON!

Hi Beaglemom! Im on board! Im on CD1 and January will be my round of Clomid or Femara, going to see the doctor later this week to get started..

Im taking fish oil, pre-natal vitamins, baby aspirin, and doing acupuncture. DH is doing acupunture and taking MotilityBoost supplement and fish oil. DH and I are also using pre-seed because my CM is kinda thick i think.. Im also thinking of taking Robitussin this month and rely solely on the pre-seed...

How long have you been drinking Fertilitea? Does your husband drink it too? I'm buying it today! Gotta d everything I can or I'll go mad...

Hello ladies this looks like the thread for me!

I'm cd8 today, Itching to get into fertile time Ooh so close!

Most importantly to mention is that I drank fertilitea 2-3 times a day from about cd7 last cycle and I O'ed om cd16 (previously between cd17-22) I also increased my lp from 11 to 12 days was my 4th cycle so I really think the tea helped, will be exciting to see when I o this month, bring on a cd14 O C'mon!

I only spotted one instance of ewcm but I also take evening primrose oil to help it, but since I still don't get too much I convinced the oh to try preseed.... I chose 2 grams (the applicator goes up to 4) and it was so much that we killed bd, so be careful it's definitely better to start with little and up it as needed

Just started the tea this cycle. Trying to do 3 a day...hard to keep up.

Make sure you ask your dr before drinking it. I am not sure if you should take it while taking clomid or femera. That is why I had not bought it until now.

Never. My previous long cycle was 29 days. With the ovidrel shot I should have had a 26 day cycle. I am now on day 36...

Hi Ladies!
I checked into the December thread and followed your stories but did not post any more (holiday madness). I've been TTC for about 13 months now and just had my first OBGYN appt this month. My 2-3 day bloodwork all came back normal.

So I am CD 13 now, but thinking I will ovulate late because I have not gotten anything other than a circle on the OPK (ClearBlue Advanced that gives smilies and flashing smilies) so my estrogen has yet to elevate. I have been sick, so that may be why.

I had a HSG last Friday. (For anyone who has one coming up, it was hardly painful. Just slightly uncomfortable. I made an effort to be VERY relaxed though, and I think that helped.) Tubes seem to be clear, but I do have what appears to be a polyp in my uterus which could be preventing implantation (if is is where the egg tries to implant).

So the doc just called today and said that I need to have an outpatient procedure called a D and C Hysteroscopy with polypectomy. Basically, I will be put under and they will put a camera up there, clip off the polyp and vacuum it out. Fun, huh!? Anyone else had this done? I was hoping that they would find SOMETHING in the HSG to explain why we haven't had any luck so far, so I guess I can't complain.

Which makes me feel like I'm out for the month. Yesterday I did have about five minutes of localized sharp pain on my right side.. Also shooting pain in my left breast.. But I guess 4dpo is too early for symptoms. Hoping 2014 brings our babies! And soon!

Ashley, good luck on your journey. Unfortunately, you will learn nothing & everything is a symptom. Some advice for you, it is truly not over until AF shows. I have heard so many stories about feeling cramps, or negative test results...cramps can be a sign & a negative test really doesn't mean much. try not to overanalyze everything...it will drive you nuts! The first few months of trying should be fun & carefree.

So CD 10 & my monitor showed me my first high today. I am very excited. For one, this fertilitea is truly upping the cm I have. And two...it is upping my sex drive! My husband had to do another semen analysis today so we were abstaining & it is driving me crazy! I am normally not like this at all. My family is supposed to be over for new years & I don't know if they are staying the night. I do not really care at this point...we will close the door & be as quiet as possible.

Also today marks 13 years we have been together. I can not think of a better way to celebrate than hitting my fertile window. Plus my husband will be off the next 4 days. As some of you know, he works third shift & it is very stressful. Very hard to get baby making sessions in.

Hi beaglemom, jumping over to join, although I'm not at all certain what this cycle will hold for me. From the things I'm reading, with a very early m/c like mine, I can consider the first day of bleeding CD1, and start using OPKs and just see what happens. So I'm just assuming I'm on CD2today. My dr's office recommended not using the clomid again until I know for sure that I've started a new cycle, so I'll be skipping it this month, just in case. But I'll still be temping and using OPKs to see if/when I ovulate. And if I do, then DH and I are gettin' busy. Gotta just jump back on the wagon and keep trying.

Glad to see you...besides, wasn't January your predicted month from Cheri?

I know this is hard for you, I can not even imagine. But I think jumping back in with a positive attitude can only help things. I know it is not the same, but CD 1 for me is always a bummer, plus I feel like crap. Usually around day 3 I am over it & just ready to get the month going. I know it is different for you this month, but 2014 is going to be a great year for all of us.

Are you still having the hsg or does that have to be rescheduled? I couldn't remember the date it was set up for.

Beaglemom, how exciting to get a high on your meter! So glad your hubby has a few days at home...now go get busy!!

For the newbies here...a bit about me...after suffering a miscarriage at 6 weeks on December 11th...I am waiting for AF to show. I counted the 11th as CD1 and we are BDing every other day until AF shows or I test and get a BFP. Doc said the first 3 -6 months I am most fertile.

Allison, did you join us here yet? Isn't today your birthday? Happy Birthday!!

Welcome Erin. I am just stalking this thread bc i am waiting for af. To be honest i dont even know what dpo i am at this point. but since my cycles are so long i will get af by the fifth and then have to wait another 34days usually.

i was thinking about using the mucinex or cough syrup. i dont know yet. i have a yearly appt set up for Jan 22 so i think i am going to try to get her to do a u/s and some blood work. i have a fs appt for my husband to have his sa done in Feb. i guess we are starting 2014out right.

Happy NYE all! After getting tears in my eyes because of seeing picture after picture of "New babies from 2013" on my Facebook feed, I had to get off of there! Don't get me wrong, I'm always happy for people and it hardly ever bothers me, but I have my moments. Even the local Zoo was posting its 2013 babies!! LOL

Welcome Ashley! Yes, Beaglemom is on the money with her comment. After TTC for 13 months now, I can tell you that (unless you are blessed with getting preggers very quickly) you will definitely have cycles that can be misleading. I had two in particular that I was convinced that I was pregnant…had sensitivity to smells, nausea, even bleeding gums. But after testing, BFN and started my cycle right on time! As hard as it is, it's best to try not to be hypersensitive looking for signs if you want to stay less stressed, at least for me.

Beaglemom…looks like we'll be BD together (wait, that sounded wrong!)…I got a solid smiley on my CBOPK today. For some reason it skipped the flashing smiley phase altogether…perhaps my cold inhibited the normal estrogen spike? But either way ready to go! I have been taking Mucinex for the last few days and am definitely noting more CM, but no EW still…thinking about using preseed this cycle. Good luck to you and have fun!

ERosePW…so glad to see you are keeping a positive outlook! I know we have been trying about the same amount of time, and it would be really hard to get a long awaited BFP then be disappointed. I'm sure you will get your sticky bean soon! Also, if you are going ahead with your HSG, I would mention that it was really not painful at all if you stay very relaxed. I think I found some answers with mine, too, so it could be a good thing for you!

Have been seeing a lot on here and other threads about fertilitea and evening primrose oil. Are these things I would need to consult my doctor about…just not sure if they carry any risk? Do you guys recommend one? I haven't had much EWCM at all, and am using Mucinex to try to up that but have seen a lot about the others.

The fertilitea is doing great for me for the cm. But do not take it if you are on anything else (meds). I don't know much about primrose. I have seen mixed reviews on the tea, but you will always get good with bad. Since I am on no meds this cycle, I figured why not? I am on to a specialist after this anyways. Some people said it messed up their cycle. So far so good for me...but I have not been able to do the 3 cups a day...just forget.
