July 2015 Mommies Group

Great news Raquel!

Congratulations Alea. My first two were 15 months apart, second and third twenty months a part, third and fourth were 361 days a part and we began ttc twelve weeks after number four. So clearly I live small age gaps. I even had to do a pregnancy test this morning :dohh: It will be hard but so rewarding x

Thank you all for your kind messages of congratulations!

Raquel, I'm so pleased M's appointment went well, and that displaysia is unlikely. Good luck with the sleeping!

Raquel, that is great news!

Henry has uneven rolls, but apparently the ones at the hips and bum "match" like they should, so he wasn't referred anywhere. Just his arm and leg rolls don't match - he's much chubbier on his right side for some reason!

I hope the ultrasound goes well and her hips are indeed just fine! :)

Tasha, you had to test!? Are you planning on doing any form of long term birth control? We are using condoms for now, until I'm ready to go send DH to get snipped! Heh.

How random is that? So cute that he has rolls though.

Yeah Condoms but sometimes we get caught up. The scare made us pro-active though and now Dh has a Dr appointment a week on Monday to get the ball rolling!

Thanks for all the support, ladies. We've also now had four days of at least one, if not two, decent daytime naps and we're both much happier!

We also got M's first lot of vaccinations on Friday, and our lovely local doctor (who also works part-time as a registrar at the local children's hospital) told me that uneven rolls on thighs and bottom is a very unreliable indicator of displaysia and they no longer refer for additional checks on that basis alone (they use movement checks as well as an analysis of risk factors). So I'm thinking I've had a lot of stress over nothing. Still getting the ultrasound, though - better to be safe.

Hi everyone! I just realized there was a new thread made! I will go back and read soon but I wanted to check in and say hi!

Wesley is 3 months old now (14 weeks yesterday) and weighs around 15 lbs and is 24 inches long! He's a big boy and I love his rolls! He has his first little cold right now but he's handling it really well.

Congrats Alea!!

Im laying in bed next to my wiggly smiley 10 wk old :) hes 17.6lbs he had a tummy bug this week and didnt hgain any weight all week but hes better now, they said its a good thing hes a chunky one! Yesterday he slept for 5 hrs straight and lastnight for 4hrs, I feel like a new women after 10 wks of waking up every hour! We've been using condoms, I was suppose to get an IUD but I cant because I have a heart shaped uterus, we have used condoms all but twice and now im so terrified I could be pregnant already I have an appt in two weeks for the implanon.

Sorry Ive been following along, just havent posted yet. Heres some random shots of Delilah. We have her 2 month check up tomorrow (even though shes already 10 1/2 weeks)

I feel like life with baby is going pretty well. Seems like we have a good routine. Shes super great with people. Went to the Renaissance Festival and she was amazing! She even talked to a random stranger for like 5 minutes. Lol So cute! I just love her little smile and gurgles, she makes me melt. :cloud9:

Awh shes a beauty rach! We have the same swing/bouncer. My son doesn't like it though! Ill share some pictures of my little guy, he is super smiley and talking baby gibberish I love it!

Thanks babyv! She hated the swing at first then all of a sudden around 7 weeks she started to like it.

Had her 2 month check up yesterday. A couple weeks late (shes 10 1/2 weeks). Lol. But shes 11 lbs 6 oz and 23.5"! Shes doing great and progressing wonderfully. We put her in her crib today to see what she'd do (she sleeps in a bassinet currently) and I have never seen her happier! It was beyond adorable, she danced and smiled and giggled for a solid 15 minutes!

How's everyone doing? And their little munchkins?

Delilah is taking a nap in her crib for the first time. We're going to transition her from the bassinet this weekend. She's already in her room so it shouldn't be too much of a switch up. Plus we've been putting her in the crib randomly for a week or two awake so she can check it out and she looooves it. When I put her down just now she was awake but passed out pretty quick. I'm hoping the nighttime switch is just as flawless.

We swaddle her to sleep currently, but I'm considering stopping. When she wakes up in the morning she's managed to get one arm escaped if not both. Also she's not having those crazy twitches that would waken her from a nap anymore. What are your thoughts? She's not quite rolling over yet, but I think she will in the next week or so....

Rach, we're transitioning Sean to his crib in his room this weekend too and I'm really nervous about it. He's been sleeping in his bassinet in our room and it's so comforting to just roll over and see him there, but he's getting big and running out of room in there so I know it's time. I started transitioning him out of the swaddle by swaddling him with one arm out for a few weeks and now with both arms out. The swaddle around his body and legs still comforts him and he sleeps very well most nights. You never know when they might start rolling so I feel safer knowing that his arms are free just in case. Good luck with the transition! :)

Hey everyone! Glad to see everyone is doing well and congratulations to Alea on baby number two!

Elysia is doing well and is 10 weeks and 11 pounds and 7 ounces, weight gain has been slow and steady. I think she is going to be tall and slim like her daddy!

How are you all?

Hi all

I'm currently sat in bed with a sleeping ds across my tummy & shoulder <3 He's a champion sleeper at night (6pm-7am with a bottle at 10.30pm & whenever he wakes in the night - usually 3.30am ish) but boy does he fight his daytime sleep!! I'm trying to enjoy the nap cuddles while I can before he's too big.

Ds weighed 11lbs 3oz at 8 weeks & 63cm long!! He's on the 99th centile for his height & nearly out of his 0-3 month clothes already because he's so long :)

I'm so in love with my lovely little guy <3 <3 <3

Poppy - gorgeous pic!

Hope everyone else is doing well, I'll have to read back another time - he just woke up :)

Hello, fellow mommies! I haven't been on in a while, and found this thread through the old board. I hope everyone is well. I love seeing all these beautiful babies, and wanted to share mine since I haven't yet.

Connor was born on July 5th at 11:21 p.m. He was 7 pounds, 4 ounces and 20 inches long. I can hardly believe how quickly time is passing - he turned 3 months old yesterday!

Hello ladies!

Apologies for my absence, we have been on holiday for the past week and have now returned to a cold, miserable England, sadly! I'll skim through the pages I've missed or try to at least!

Maisie is keeping well and is changing every day. Sadly I miscarried just before we went on holiday.

Alea I'm so sorry :hugs:

How is everyone? How are your babies?
