June...here we come!!!

Erin - OUCH!! At my class they definitely told us to switch the needles!

Beagle - yay for lots of little follies - this is your cycle!!

AFM - still waiting for AF...not sure what will happen since took the HCG shot at day 25 - the day I normally get AF.

Well, the thing is, I'm using the ones with the Q-cups. Not sure if they showed you those or not, but when you use those, you don't need the stirring needle. When you use the Q-cup, the med dissolves all on its own. So I didn't know anything about this "stirring needle"! But for some reason, Cigna sent me the stirring needles AND the Q-cups, so that completely threw me off, since I'm not doing the stirring thing, I automatically thought that needle was the injection needle. But after I googled other girls' experiences, I realized... and I ran back to my Cigna box and looked... sure enough, there were those smaller needles that I could replace that nasty large needle with. I don't know why Cigna sent me Q-cups and stirring needles both. My nurse was the one who showed me the Q cups and ordered them, but maybe it's just part of the supply shipment so the patient has a choice once they receive everything..? Who knows!

So Moni, remind me... what was the hcg shot for? I know you posted it a while back, but I can't recall what the purpose was... did it have something to do with your cysts, or wanting to delay AF, or something? Will you be starting BCP after you get AF, or is that still up in the air? July is getting SO close girl!! I'm excited for you. :) I'm excited for us both. DH and I were talking last night, and it sorta hit me all of a sudden... I was like "I can't believe we might be pregnant in a couple weeks!" Of course, we won't KNOW in a couple weeks... it will probably be mid-July before we know anything for certain. But I got to thinking how cool of a feeling its going to be when they put our embryos in there.

After three girls ages 6, 4 and 3..we are ready to start ttc our fourth and final babe. Would love a blue bundle but more pink would be fine too. Planning to start trying in july. Would love to have a ttc buddy.

Oops, tkelly, I think you accidentally stumbled into the wrong forum, hehe. This is the TTC#1 forum, so we're all still trying to conceive our first little bundles of joy. :winkwink:

beagle, yay for lots of little follies, and here's to hoping you get two this time! Double the eggs, double the chances!

floridasian, I'm doing the injections myself. I couldn't let DH do it, because I felt like I had to have all the control since I was the one feeling it, LOL. They are all totally fine now, once I got the other needle situation taken care of. The smaller needles are really no problem at all. They're all pretty much the same size as the Ovidrel needle, or at least close. So, was yesterday's OPK considered pos? Do you still have a dark one today? I was always an early ovulater when not on meds too. It's always still possible to get PG when you O early though... My Dr had told me that MAY have been the issue for us for the first nine months we were TTC (when we went in to see him the first time). So that's when he put me on clomid and i got pregnant. But I've seen other girls saying they got PG ovulating on cd10 or so.

Hi to everyone else! I dont have anything new to report. STIMs are fine now. Went in today for first blood test since starting the STIMs. Have to go in Wed and Fri too. Just keeping FXd that my body responds the way they want, and everything goes as currently planned. As of now, I should trigger on Sunday, and have ER on Tues. That's actually July 1st (I think I may have accidentally said July 2nd in previous posts).

Ladies I still have sensitive nipples sorry tmi

I felt tired at work to just nearly falling asleep at my desk

Erin - sounds like you are getting the hang of it so that's good. What we are willing to do/put ourselves through to have a baby is truly amazing! Oh, and I like your new "sporty-look" profile pic! :)

I've had three close-to-positive OPK's now since yesterday morning but I haven't gotten a true positive yet, which is good. I don't think ovulating too early is a good thing. But I'm just a little confused because this has never happened to me before. Usually if I get a close-to-positive in the morning it would be a true positive by the evening. I've never had so many close-to-positives in a row. We're following the every-other-day BD schedule so we should be good.

Sarahlou - do you know when you ovulated? How long is your cycle normally? When are you planning on testing?

Good luck on your TWW, Sarah! It's always nice to be able to BD without feeling the pressure! I try to spice it up a bit from time to time because I know how much pressure DH is getting.

Hope everything's going well for you moni. I'm also not sure what the HCG shot is for.

Sarahok that the one I want to buy off of amazon. It is way cheaper on there than I have found in stores. They are like $50+ in stores around me. But on amazon they are like $35. Going to purchase sometime this week.

I don't know when I ovulated or even if I did as I have Pcos and natural have no af on my own

But after starting metformin I had a natural ad and I'm now CD24! I tried to use OPK'S and temping but I kept losing the will to keep up with them as I think it's impossible for me to get pregnant and a waste of time so I didn't get chance to track my ovulation

SarahLou, girls with PCOS get pregnant all the time. Sometimes on their own, and sometimes with a little help from their Dr. It sounds to me like the Metformin is doing what its supposed to, so thats a step in the right direction. Your signature says you've been TTC for two months? Girl, since you just got the metformin to do its job, and you haven't been TTC for that long, I don't understand why you think its impossible for you to get pregnant. Nothing is impossible! Now that you've gotten AF to start working, the next step is to just make sure you're O'ing. The OPKs or temping are the best way to figure that out. Once you know that part, the BDing should be fun. :) If you're still not happy with no results after a few more months, your Dr will be able to determine next steps for you. But I do feel you will be able to have a baby.

I tried 18 months on metformin with my pervious partner that's why I'm worried about it this time. And wish I could have other drugs or sone sort of hope.

And this is why I'm not getting my hopes up. I did that last time and it didn't do me any favours in fact it made me feel worse. I just struggle with coping with my Pcos I'm sorry

Thanks Floridasian...so far so good! And yeah, my hubby only has a glass of vino on the weekends because of his work, so having our major trying days fri and sat spiced it up nicely. We had a couple glasses, danced around the house (sounds cheesy but we don't really like going "out" but love dancing together) and everything progressed naturally. So much nicer than "so, we need to have sex tonight, right?" Lol!

Michelle I have the amazon regular delivery thing. You save a little more and can always tell them to skip that delivery if need be. Nice to save money and not have to think about it. I've never used the others, but it's def nice to not have any guesswork involved.

Erin you are such a cutie!! Love your new pic!! :)

SarahLou, I agree with Erin. Try to lighten up a little...you are so early on in TTC! A friend from here who got preggers w pcos swears by fertilaid. You might look into that. Helped regulate her and got her BFP.

Oh, I had forgotten that you tried 18 months previously. So back then, did you use OPKs or temp at all, to confirm O? Is there any reason your Dr won't give you some other meds? You could consider seeing an RE if your OB isn't open to helping more.

Hi everyone!

FF gave me a dotted line between my temp today and my temp from two days ago, leaving out yesterday's temp, and I have no idea why. I didn't discard it, and it was the same time of day, so not sure what it means? Thoughts?

I am now 8DPO and feeling wretched, like I have the flu. A horrible wave of nausea and heartburn hit me around 6 p.m. last night, and for a few days I've had chills, stuffy nose, sore throat, creamy CM.

I know clomid side effects can mimic that of pregnancy, so I'm really trying not to get my hopes up.

Amy, that is odd! I have never seen FF do that without the user discarding the temp themselves. I wonder if its a new feature of FF, as I've been seeing a couple little new things pop up on the app lately. Athough I don't know how/why they'd determine that particular temp needed to come out. How strange....! Let us know if you figure it out!

Sorry you're feeling crappy! Being sick really sucks! A couple of those could be PG symptoms, like the nausea and heartburn, but if you feel quite as bad as flu-like, it's hard to say.... But FXd!! I hope they are ALL good PG signs!

Thank you! I will definitely let you know if I crack the FF nut.

Not quite flu-like, I am at work and functioning, just feel crappy, but it comes in waves. And I had a metal taste in my mouth this morning, but then I was like, is this real, or am I imagining it?

Amy - metallic taste in your mouth is said to be a strong pregnancy symptom! Fingers crossed for you! Also, did you check anything on FF for yesterday like illness, alcohol, fever, etc? That might explain FF discarding yesterday's temp for you.

Sarahok I saw that! I think I am going to start with the wondfos then when it looks close use that to confirm or to know when I am at a peak.

Sarahlou I have a good friend who had pcos and spent years and lots of money on ttc. Did IVF and it failed. She want to my re and took an OTC drug called pregnitude for egg quality and on her second cycle of IUI got pregnant after 5 years! I have read studies on this drug and it also helps with ER too for IVF. I'm going to try it for the next two cycles. Maybe it will help!

Thank you! Trying SO hard not to get my hopes up. I'm scared that if I don't get my BFP, am I REALLY making this up in my head? Haha.

And you cracked the nut, floridasian! I had fever checked only because I also had the chills and felt feverish, but I never took my temp (for that cause). Whew, thank you!

Thanks for solving the mystery floridasian! I was super curious about that!

Oh, Amy, metallic taste too? Wow, you do have a few of the PG symptoms, ahh! All my digits are crossed for ya!

Also ladies I decided to move the days I take my femara from days 3-7 to days 2-6 to see if it moves my O up. Don't know if it will work but maybe?!
