June...here we come!!!

Thanks, Erin! My p levels yesterday were .3!!! So I'm all out of whack! I sure hope this birth control is doing something in there besides screwing with my normal routine. I'm seeing the RE on Thursday so I'm really hoping I can move along. I've been spotting a couple days now and I feel like my body is saying "stop giving me bcps, and let me have a period!" Ugh. We will also be in Disneyland this weekend so it's looking like I'll be on my period for that. Fun.

I love that BD planning is a topic today. I think my husband wishes I was more like you girls. I'm the one that's like "nah I don't feel like it, I'm tired, I'll do it tomorrow..." I think it's cause I feel like its homework and I'm the one that can't do it on demand. My husband? No problem. I could wake him out if a dead sleep and he's ready. What the hell is wrong with me!? Lol maybe it's because I feel so defeated this last year and I'm just counting on it not working. It's a total mind thing for me. If I'm not in the mood, I can't even attempt it. So frustrating. I'm obviously very cranky on the pill this month. Haha! I want off of this roller coaster!!

Hi FBG, I'm so happy you popped over here! :flower:

I'm truly sorry that you had another m/c. How are you doing now? Sounds like you're jumping back on the wagon again, just like last time, so I'm happy to hear that. Also happy you have an appt in July, just in case you end up needing it, but hopefully you'll get another BFP this month, and this one will be sticky! Conceiving twice in one year is great... they just need to figure out how to help you keep those little beans!

I told my dh he has no option but to get me pregnant this month and he just laughed then text me today on lunch and asked he i was sewing my maternity clothes yet bc i will need them lol

I dont know if i told you or not but i took up a new hobby of sewing and i am addicted. . . i just spent 200 at hobby lobby for fabric and i am more than happy to go get more now!

I made that appt two months ago and i decided that i would make it July since i really started June 2013 and i wanted a full year trying and six months from my first miscarriage. i hope i can make her do all the blood work on me and sa on dh from the get go. i dont want to mess around since i waited already.

FBG, so sorry about the m/c :hugs:
Glad that you and your hubby are staying positive, and he is right...you better start sewing those maternity clothes! When I made my appointment with the RE I asked if they would do any testing and they told me it was their job to get me pregnant so of course they would. The RE ended up ordering every test (CD3, SA, hsg and something else I can't remember). Hoping you get a sticky and end up having to cancel your appointment!

FBG, sorry about another mc. Maybe the dr should put you on progesterone after O. Not really sure. Sounds like the getting pregnant part is happening...now need to figure out the sticky part. Good luck!

Me & husband just spent a LONG time cleaning out the garage. And not that lame straightening up nonsense. Actually clearing out all the crap. We had 2 car full for donation. A pile of trash that is EMBARRASSING! So my 2 extra days off are finally feeling like I accomplished something! And I also got my husband to start putting down the quarter round on the flooring we started like 18 months ago! I am starting to feel like my house may actually start being ready for a baby soon. Now if I can just get that pesky pregnant part taken care of ;)

FBG, I love that you are sewing...I so want to do that. I see fabric all the time & think I would rather do the bedding myself for the baby. I want to take a class because right now I am not very good at it.

FBG, I love that positive attitude you and DH have!! How cute! Funny that you mention maternity clothes. While others here talk about buying baby stuff, I dont really even look at it, and I dont have any in my house yet. But for some reason, in just the last two days, I have started looking at clothes online... BUT, it's maternity clothes! HA! Does that make me selfish that i'm looking at maternity clothes instead of baby clothes??

beaglemom, i guarantee if we cleaned out our garage, we would have that same embarrassing heap of garbage that you mentioned. My DH is obsessed with the garage because he's such a DUDE, and he has a sports car and 4-wheeler that he tinkers with in there. But he's not very neat about it at ALL. He's really kind of a slob out there, and things have piled up that I know we do not need!

Ok ladies, you all got me thinking so I called the md office and spoke with the rn. I informed her that I just recently had my second miscarriage. She got very concerned and asked when I had came in for my quantative blood work. I told her the md told me that i should call when i miss my period and schedule my blood work for 8 weeks. she informed me thats what we do when there is no history of miscarriage and now i need to come in immediately for a blood test to make sure my hormones went back to normal and next time i get the faint positive come in immediately and get blood work and they will put me on progestrone suppositories until eiht weeks then do an ultrasound. she was not very happy with me but i really did appreciate her concern. so i told her i would be in Friday which she wasnt thrilled about but i cant do anything about it. and this month when i get that positive i am lighting up their phones as soon as they open. he he

Beaglemom I've had the same thoughts too: If we don't have sex, we're not getting pregnant! DH usually has no problem BD'ing unless he's really tired. But I sometimes worry that we should be BD'ing more. Was it someone on this forum that said that you have to BD regularly, even if you're not O'ing, so that your body gets used to your DH's sperm and doesn't consider it as an intruder or something and rejects it? I know I read that somewhere...

I had another -opk this morning but I think I may be O'ing soon. The twinges on my left side are becoming more intense and I think my boobs are more sensitive as well. It would be great to O so soon and on my own this cycle.

Seem we may be cycle buddies this month.

I know! Wanna go for BFP buddies this month too? :happydance:

I am trying to stay away from maternity and baby stuff for now. i made a baby blanket for our puppy we are expecting in July. I cannot wait to be a fur mommy again. We lost our one and only baby last September in a horrible way. I cry everytime I am alone and think of her bc I feel totally responsible for lossing her because I was home with her when everything started and i felt like i should have spoke up more quickly and make them run every test poasible on her and i didnt. in my heart i know she was gone but with my medical background i want answers. aanywho i miss her and so does our family. when my grandma got out of surgery the first thing she said was everyone was there but our puppy Zoey. it was cute. sorry for the rant.

You know it!

Erin & FBG - I look at maternity clothes all the time. I am always looking up the clearance because I just don't want to spend the money on a whole new wardrobe...but I will need things for work & can't wear the same thing all the time. But I never buy anything. Mainly because I don't know what season to buy for. With baby clothes, I stick with onsies because you always need those.

FBG - I don't understand why they always say to call with a positive & then do P supplement. You are not the only one I have heard this from. Just seems strange since my dr & Floridasian's have us on P starting 3 dpo. Seems if it can't hurt, why not start early.

Ya i will see what happens this cycle. Its in Gods hands when i am meant to be a mother i will be.i know that is not what people want to here but He has proven that His timing is better than mine too many times.

I just tell my husband when I get prego his closet opens to my needs lol... i dont want to buy a wardrobe for six or less months.

Oh & Erin the sad thing is my 2 car garage does not have any cars in it.

FBG - everything happens when it should...I have no doubt about that. I will also be digging in my husband's closet but only for my days off & lounging around the house. I could get away with a few pants I wear all the time. I do that now. But I will need at least 5 or 6 work shirts. But I hope to get away with not buying a lot. I also live near a military base, so craigslist has a lot of used baby & maternity clothes.

FBG, I'm glad they are showing concern and i'm really glad that you called! This way, if you get a BFP this month, they'll be on top of it.

It seems every Dr is a bit different. I've been seeing a ton of REs just giving P supps to take right after O whether they know if you're even low or not. I think there is one girl here who's RE (sorry, I can't remember who!) who told her to just take the P supps when she sees a BFP (and that did work for savvy!). My RE tests 7 days after O to see if the patient needs P supps or not. So it seems all Drs do it different, and I won't pretend to know which ones are doing it right. BUT...even if she doesn't want to put you on P without knowing whether you are low, I'm surprised she isn't having you come in 7 days after you O so she can at least test you to see if you need it BEFORE getting a BFP. I'm really surprised with two m/c's now, that she wouldn't want to test you to see if that's what's causing the m/c's. I know you are putting it in God's hands, and I respect that 100%. When you go in for your appt, if you feel it in your heart to inquire, then perhaps you could even mention it to her, and see if she will test it after you O.

So even we if we don't lack P, there's no harm in taking it once we O? Did you do that? Just wondering if this is something I should do after O'ing.

From what I've heard, there's no harm in taking it, because it doesn't hurt anything. But no, I haven't done that. I did it one cycle because it was right after my m/c, so I was paranoid anyway. My OB was never convinced that I was low on P though, but he said if i felt better taking it, then I could. So I did take it that cycle, but not after that. Then when I went to my RE, she tested me 7 days after my IUI, and I wasn't low, so she did not put me on supps. You could go ahead and start taking it now if you feel more comfortable that way... or you could ask your Dr to test you 7 days after you O to see if you need it. I'm the type of person that likes to know what my body is or isn't doing on its own, so that's why I liked my RE's approach, but everyone is different! :)

Got a + opk! Don't even need the smiley face on this one! And this is after only and hour and a half holding it. But I feel awful. Horrible headache crampy and sleepy. And funny sorry too to make you all laugh. So like I said I'm not feeling well so after I tested I left the opk sitting on the cup with my sample still in it (Just in case I needed to test again) and went and laid down for a minute. Well dh went in and said hey, your ovulating now get your piss off the counter. Lmao I died laughing!

My RE's not exactly sure if progesterone supplement will really help sustain a pregnancy. When he put me on progesterone after my BFP last time he said it was probably too late since we'd like to start it at 3 DPO. But now he's having me take it from 3DPO to 14DPO for three cycles to see if I get a BFP. If not, I will go back and we'll come up with a different plan.

Honestly I don't think I have low progesterone and he's NEVER tested me for it either. So it must doesn't hurt.

OH yay, nice pos OPK!!! :happydance: And yes, that is hilarious, and sounds EXACTLY like something my DH would say!! haha!

LOL Michelle! That is too funny. My DH also learned to lean over to peak at my OPK on the bathroom counter, although I usually dump out the urine sample before he sees it.

Have fun BD'ing!
