i have antiphospholipid syndrome. I was chatting to you on the other thread about it. Now that you have a positive test, call your GP and explain that you’ve tested positive on the bloods and want treatment just Incase. They should organise a scan for you to determine viability. Almost definitely will be blood thinning injections ( I have dalteparin) and I have 150mg aspirin in addition. Congratulations, all sounds scary but it’ll be fine x

thanks - ours is direct access to EPA’s so I’ll call in the morning. They have a service called MOT they want me to use.
Looks like we are bump buddies for the second time - I have an October 2015 too.

Only when I'm pregnant. I have to take 150mg aspirin and inject twice a day with clexane. I've lost 9 babies because of it. BUT I have had 5 beautiful children so yes it can be rough there is lots of positive endings. I have lots of other symptoms too but never had a clot/stroke or heart attack so consider myself one of the lucky ones x

Yay you have it too. Its such a lonely illness. I was diagnosed in 2003 and only met one other person with it up until this site now I've met 2 others x

There were loads of people on the recurrent miscarriage thread years ago with it. I tested negative back in 2014 but had already had two miscarriages back then.

This site has definitely become so much quieter than it was when I first signed up when TTC DS1. It’s still good once you can find the threads where everyone still hangs out like this one. I miss how busy the TTC and trimester boards were though!

BnB is definitely quieter and I am sad that the old threads are all lost. I had some old journals and memories I would have liked to have re-read but I suppose it can't all be saved.

How is everyone doing? I am only 2DPO so just a waiting game for me now. Hoping to start serious testing on the 6th July at 10DPO (my eldest daughters birthday)

I know, I think there are a few around but not very frequently.

just off the phone to EPAS. I’ve to call about any tiny concern and they will scan me before 6 weeks if they have to, but I’m booked in for w scan at 6 weeks.
My result for the lupus antibodies was just borderline positive so she is having the consultant call me at 12. They are pulling my old records too to see if that was a high negative result because apparently different hospitals use a different threshold.
