*~`|June & July Testing Thread|`~*

I know, I think there are a few around but not very frequently.

just off the phone to EPAS. I’ve to call about any tiny concern and they will scan me before 6 weeks if they have to, but I’m booked in for w scan at 6 weeks.
My result for the lupus antibodies was just borderline positive so she is having the consultant call me at 12. They are pulling my old records too to see if that was a high negative result because apparently different hospitals use a different threshold.
Good luck with the phone calls, hope they can all reassure you. Did you test anymore? I love seeing those dark lines.

Thank you! All the ladies at EPAS remembered me because I only stopped going for follow ups about 7 weeks ago. I’ve not tested although I have another test. It caused a tonne of anxiety last time and I’m trying to be more relaxed this time round.

I think AF has got me! woke up to bleeding this morning.
Last cycle was 18 days and this one 19 days. That’s not great! I’m used to having long cycles with my PCOS and was hoping last month’s short cycle was a one off but it doesn’t look like it!

Sorry AF arrived :(

Not much to report here. 9dpo but I am not testing early as last month that’s how I knew about the chemical and I would rather not know. Also, I know it would be BFN this early for me anyway probably.

Hi all - sorry I took the weekend away on a lake so didn't check in! No AF for me yet but I did test negative yesterday, so pretty sure AF will arrive soon. I am 15dpo today so certainly would have had a positive by now. Just waiting for AF. Wondering if my covid vaccine affected my cycle? Time will tell, I hope AF arrives soon. No real cramps to speak of which I usually get the day before AF starts so we'll see. Onto the next cycle I suppose, I just want AF to hurry up and get here so I can reset. It's exhausting to have to think about planning BD at the right time again but hopefully it'll all work out! It'll be my second (and first full) cycle on macca so hopefully that helps!

I tested very early for me I'm 8dpo. I always wait till I'm late, but my mood is awful.

So I couldn't see anything (very early) but then I did a negative of the picture and I think I see something

Today’s test is significantly lighter and I’m cramping. also not feeling any symptoms like I have done for the last few days.

Possibly a better pic as there is glare in the test window in the previous one.

It's so hard not to worry but at the very early stages things like drinking more or even drinking more the night b4 can effect tests.
My lines went lighter at 12dpo and I was so worried it was another chemical.
Then I realised I had alot to drink the night b4 because I was really thirsty.
So I held for a few hours and re tested with 3rd morning pee and my lines were darker again.
Ure tests are still supper dark hon. They look like my 12 13dpo tests.

@jellybeanxx So sorry AF arrived and about the short cycle hon.
Have u recently come off birth control because I noticed when I stopped the mini pill back in Feb 2020 my first few cycles were short.

@loeylo - I really hope it’s just dilute pee or a test with less dye. Cramps can be normal in early pregnancy. I’ve got everything crossed for you.

I can imagine how stressful that is but cramping is normal and there’s a lot that can effect how dark the lines are so I wouldn’t count yourself out yet. Hope they darken again for you soon!

I’ve not been on birth control since 2011 so won’t be that!
However, I haven’t had any more bleeding at all since this morning so not sure what’s happening! I was so sure AF had arrived!

@Suggerhoney that is reassuring. I’m not sure how many dpo that test is, somewhere between 10 (based on normal cycle) and 13 (based on opk) so I’m going to say 11-12dpo. I didn’t drink much before that test but it was possibly a shorter hold

@Deethehippy thanks. I did have cramps with all my pregnancies but I’m really scared of a third ectopic.

@loeylo - that looks just like the test has less dye, these tests were not really designed to show progression (although most of us still use it that way), so it can differ from batch to batch. They are qualitative (yes/no) rather than quantitative, so (easier said than done, I know) try not to worry!
Sending you lots of babydust for a sticky bean
:dust:

Thank you. I know this and I swore I wasn’t going to do it but here we are.
My symptoms are gone though.
