Just for fun: Question and Answer Thread

OmiOmen - Nah, don't decide off that chart! Like I said, it's all messed up because of how sick I was. my BBT went all the way up to 100.5 because of the fever. My chart for cycle one is PERFECT (same link, just scroll down I think).

As a kid I was only allowed to watch Reading Rainbow or Sesame Street. And I haven't the slightest idea what shows are on for toddler-age kids nowadays! Something educational though :)

What/where was your first date with your OH?

(Mine: OH and I shared our first date at Coldstone Creamery - an ice cream shop - and spent the next several hours walking and talking about everything. He ended the night with a kiss but not before jumping in a tree and hanging like a crazy monkey, lol. We're both big fans of ice cream so instead of cake at our wedding, we're having ice cream cupcakes by Coldstone.)

I met him in the pub I lived in at the time, apparently he followed me around the whole night but I do not remember and the next few times I saw him was in the pub too. I guess I sort of found him on my doorstep so to speak and he knew my parents months before we met too.

Laptop or PC?

Laptop all the way! I bring it everywhere with me!

What sport(s) do you enjoy watching? (football, soccer, baseball, etc.)

Football (Soccer for you US guys). I used to go with my Dad to Tottenham, hubby has a season tkt at his club, and is massively important to both sides of my family. So much so, that we got married the Saturday before the World Cup to make sure there was absolutely no football (venues thought we were nuts when we said we were only interested one date - 2.5yrs in advance!)

If you could be PM / President for the day what would you do?

Make changes to the budget so money was not wasted on silly things (like huge budgets for advertising things that are conman sense as one example) and put back into health care, education and all the more important things.

If you could have any job in the world what would it be?

little bit random but I would have loved to have been one of the Disney Characters in the theme parks lol

Ive always been completely potty about Disney and just to be part of a fairytale would be lovely. Im sure I would make a fantastic Belle or even an Ariel but knowing my luck I would end up as King Louis or a chipmunk :haha:!!!

Whats the most embarassing/funniest thing thats ever happened to you in public??

OOpsydaisy- FALLING FLAT ON MY FACE when i was at school a few of us were going round collecting coins for this charity thing, and i had a box full of pennys fell right on my face and the whole box fell out my hand and all the money just rolled out everywere! infront of everyone lol

What food do you realy not like

Mushrooms, I really can't stand them!

What sun protection factor (SPF) do you use for your suncream? (I'm a factor 50 kinda gal!)

Factor 50, I would use higher if it was possible though.

Wood, laminate or carpet floors?

lol that's me too. I'm so pale it's crazy. Son is the same - last summer people were getting on at me for using too much sunscreen!

We have laminates in our current house (downstairs anyway) and it so much easier with children. Although does produce a few more bumps.

What is your ideal house like?

3 or 2 bedroom terraced house nice big living room modern kitchen big bedroom onsiute family house with a lovely garden!

im a simple kinda girl hehe

what was the last dream you had about ?

My wedding! I dreamt that my OH and I decided to forego the big wedding with all the friends and family and instead went somewhere small, quick, and simple. My mom was there and I still wore my fancy dress but because we moved the wedding up by about 6 weeks, it hadn't been bustled yet. It hadn't even been pressed so it was super wrinkly. lol. I think I'll stick with the big wedding! :D

Have you ever dreamed of your future little ones? Anything specific?

Yes. A second son called Jacob, I obviously care about healthy and happy but would love another boy and we have that name picked. I can just sort of see it if that makes sense? So it is not surprising that since I have that idea in my head that I have that dream.

If your partner was not there when you tested and you got a BFP, how would you tell them?

Hmmmm I'm too impatient to wait and think up a lovely way of doing it lol so I'd probably ring him up and screech down the phone at him - romantic huh?

Who's you favourite actor and why?

John Travolta because I have never seen him in a move I do not like. I also quite like Brad Pitt (I do not fancy him though) and I think he does not get taken as seriously as an actor as he should because of the way he looks (do not get me wrong, I am not saying poor him, lol).

What is your favourite song?

Eskimo Friend - Damien Rice

What one word describes you best???

Oooh, that's a really tough one! Anxious, at the moment, probably!

What's the most important quality in a partner to you?

OK, I consider myself not to be sexist but unfortunately I do find this funny;

A patient's family gathered to hear what the specialists had to say. "Things don't look good. The only chance is a brain transplant. This is an experimental procedure. It might work, but the bad news is that brains are very expensive, and you will have to pay the cost yourselves."

"Well, how much does a brain cost?" asked the relatives.

"For a male brain, $500,000. For a female brain, $200,000."

Some of the younger male relatives tried to looked shocked, but all the men nodded because they thought they understood. A few actually smirked. But the patient's daughter was unsatisfied and asked, "Why the difference in price betweem male and female brains?"

"A standard pricing practice." said the head of the team. "Women's brains have to be marked down because they have been used."

What do you normally have for breakfast?

lol I like that!

Either peanut butter and toast or fruity muesli.

One for the UK people - have you voted in the referendum? For people from elsewhere - do you vote or not bother?
