Girls we are going to lock this section off - hopefully this evening but asap if not.

All posts will be viewable as they are now but unless you are apart of this user group then you will not be able to post any replies. Users must provide a reason to be able to post.

We think this idea that was brought up in the past is now the best way to go.

Hope this will help.

I will update as many members as I can when its setup but obviously I won't catch everyone and some will need to request x

It was requested in the past ...just watching a few things we have decided we'll do it.

Great idea wobbles, and sounds very fair.

Who/Where do we submit our reasons? Am I ok with TTC 2+ years, started Clomid this cycle? Thanks :D

what constitutes (sp?) a fair reason?

I hardly use the section, but as im coming up to 12months TTC, (with one month off) it would be nice to know i could post if i needed to, but then do i 'qualify'?

x

Will we still be able to post in the LTTTC journals?
Im not really a member of this section but I have posted a thread recently & I have a couple of friends who I visit in there

Im sorta at the inbetween stage of TTC (not quite a year since I lost Sophie) but I feel as though im not welcome in here :(

Sorry if thats not the case - but it does feel that way x

 Aw... I don't understand why anyone wouldn't be welcome in here ??? There must be drama or something

In the past people only ttc a few cycles have come over here giving advice that hasnt always been helpful, and have upset people. I think it's a good idea will protect short term ttc's aswell ifykwim. :hugs:

I'm sure you'd be more than welcome Nicky :hugs: (sorry - I realise I shouldn't be in here though). There have been quite a few very insensitive comments from people who have no idea what it's like to have been TTC for a long time or to have fertility issues, and understandably it's very upsetting for people. I also have friends in here but I can see why it would be better to stop those who aren't members of this section from posting, if only to stop the few who do make comments that come across as insensitive and rude.

[Sorry DaisyDuke...only just saw your post - didn't mean to just repeat you]

Sorry for posting in here, but I just wanted to ask - will we still be able to view threads in this section and keep in touch with friends through PMs, messages etc. rather than posting on the threads? x

Ahhh that makes sense... So would long term TTC be 12 + months?

long term is 12+ months but this section is also for (and will be made available to) those who have known fertility problems.

Sam's mum stated the reasons why it's being closed very well. And in answer to your question I believe that in Wobbs post she said that the section will still be viewable to everyone

Yeah 12month+ or assisted conception or fertility probs e.t.c.

Nicky personally i think u more than qualify for this section :hugs:

Sams mum i think we will all be able to see the threads just not be able to post is that right?
