Home bargains had the big sequin teddies for 7.99 rather than 19.99 so I had to get one for ds3 even though I'm done I shouldn't go anywhere near shops until January, I swear.

My living room is almost ready for the tree! Might get it up a day or so earlier than expected

Ds3 is questioning whether Father Christmas is real. I'm not ready to only have 1 believer! I was hoping not being around other children at school we would be able to drag it out after him having a few doubts last summer. He says he wants to believe but it isn't very realistic. I've been avoiding answering because I'm not ready to let go, but I also don't want to lie as I feel if they are old enough to work it out on their own then they are old enough to know. I'm so sad.

DH pointed out that he is nearly 9 and ds1 was the same age (ds2 was only last year at 10) and he's right, it is an average age, but it's still sad to think only ds4 will believe. If he asks again I'm going to have to explain

So, I've posted my brothers card, posted my secret Santa and also presents to friends, wrapped all family members presents, given out all cards. I still need to wrap the rest of the boys and DH presents, buy the rest of the food, and write a few more cards with the boys for school friends as they did a few but not all. I can't really get the food until closer because of dates so I just need it to hurry up and be Christmas week now

I'm still waiting on a couple of deliveries. One won't be here until around the 18th. We have storage under the sofa so I need to find a way to sneak some things that are already wrapped down to go under there as once they are wrapped I don't like to pack them in the boxes so tightly so I'm running out of space.
