Kay's Christmas journal

I'm so relieved because I was really stuck for ages and worried I'd end up panic buying at the last minute. I hit the jackpot and got one of my favourite girls as my secret Santa so didn't want to just get something that didn't look like it has much thought in it

That's great you managed to find something so early :)

I caved and asked my friends about their wish lists and ended up getting them 2 books each off of them. Also managed to order ds4 two little playmobil stocking fillers.

Ordered a few more bits, will do updated lists as soon as possible

I couldn't be bothered to type it all out again, so I have just gone back to page 2 and edited the original posts with the lists in.

Went on Amazon to find some more things to add in to the wish list for my mum to get the boys and ended up buying more things anyway. So I am not done other than selection boxes for my mates kids, and Xbox live/playstation network but I'll purchase those through the console then remove my details I think.

I worry about buying them too soon and them having some sort of redeem by date, and otherwise I'll just keep stressing over how I still need to buy them. This way I can just do them as and when.

I ordered DH a new wallet today. The zip on the coin bit on his busted the other night and he managed to fix it but doesn't think it will hold long so I just went with it. I also ordered a pack of 12 of the £1 Cadbury selection boxes. I only really needed 4 for my friends kids but I just wanted to be done and not have to think about it any more, I needed to make up the order to get free delivery, but couldn't find any smaller packs that would work out to the actual price, they all worked out that when divided by the number of boxes you got you were paying more for them, but the 12 pack was exactly £12, so I figured I'd give the boys one each and stick one in with my secret santa for her daughter as well. I might send one to one of my other friends for her son too, then DH and I can have one if I don't find anyone else to give them to. Either that or I'll let the three boys that are at school give one each to one friend. The trouble is none of them really have a best friend at the moment so choosing will be difficult. I might just eat them myself hahaha
Anyway. I'm done present wise. I do need some more paper and cards and the food but gifts are sorted.
I'm having to return one of DS2's presents though as it came up on his xbox that that game was free to download this month so he went and downloaded it! Still I suppose its better to have it for free than to have paid for it haha and he still has enough presents that it doesn't make a difference

I ordered some wrapping paper from Studio this morning. Yesterday I sorted all my stash again, managed to stuff a load of it in the bottom of my wardrobe, so I can move around my bedroom again but seeing as I'm still waiting on some deliveries I imagine it will get in a big warehouse like state again. :haha:

I've started on food! I've cleared a shelf in the cupboard and a draw in the freezer and have a few bits in there already.

Of course the challenge now is to not eat it
I really want to start wrapping but I'm trying to hold off until the decorations are up. I can't wait for the last bits to turn up. I want to get everything out and do individual stash pics of everything.
I ordered my own Christmas presents as well yesterday

Lol I wouldn't trust myself with Christmas food in the house at this point, it would be long gone by the time Christmas arrived :haha::munch:
