We arnt to bad, back at diatician in a couple of weeks so will see how that goes

sorry not been on all of my kids have been battling chicken pox including little lexi

hey girls, how are all your little ones doing?

Little man is good right now although having the heating on more is really drying his skin but allergy wise he is good :)

Were not too bad thanks.

Only just seen youve had no2 so congratulations, what a good weight for 32 weeks. Is he home with you?

So glad little man is doing well:hugs:

Maria had her birthday party today with her allergy friendly cupcakes - no egg, dairy or gluten - everyone liked them :)

Her eczema got so much better, then worse again, and now its slowly getting better. I'm stumped really, dunno what else she could be allergic to. So hard trying to restrict both our diets :(

Thanks Jemma. No he isn't home yet, he had a rough start as he needed too be ventilated and had a chest drain for a collapsed lung, he is doing well now, just needs too put on weight x

Hope he puts on some weight soon and comes home

I hope he puts some weight on and that he gets home with you soon:hugs:

Sorry I haven't been around much. Been really really busy this past week!

Buttonnose - Congratulations!!!!! I hope he gets to come home to you soon! :hugs:

Natsku- I am sorry you are having a hard timing identifying what it is that bother her. Any luck with getting an appointment to that specialist?

Katerina is doing well allergy-wise. NAET has worked so far. She is eating egg yolks and chicken. We were told to try egg whites and dairy next that she was treated for! Fingers crossed!

Haven't got an appointment yet, waiting til her one year appointment at the baby clinic as they might do a referral.

Yay glad NAET is working so well!

Popping in here to say that my son FINALLY got an appointment after having his probable allergic reaction to kiwi fruit back in December (swelling of the tounge and hives around mouth and face). It's in JULY!!! I am not kidding. So..no answers for a long long time.

Im glad Naet is working well for you.

Omg that wait is terrible, are you going to avoid kiwi until then?

Ok well Katerina's eczema on her legs has been getting worse and worse. She didn't have any this summer and since September it has been getting worse. It is not really bad and since she is on antihistamines she has no itchiness I'm just not sure why she's got it. Is eczema always from food related allergies? Thats what our paed suggested but she shouldn't be reacting to anything as we didn't introduce any new back then. Could it be something in the environment here? (we spend our summer in Greece for 2 months).

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Hope you are all doing well! :hugs:

Definatley not limited to food only, Alex has been worse last winter with all the central heating and his consultant said winter does tend to make ezcema flare up. The same would be true for me too, my face is awful atm and needing alot more moisturising than it does in the summer.

My eldest daughter suffers from exzema in the winter months but it is hardly ever noticeable in the warmer months. Central heating definitely affects her badly. As far as I am aware she has no issue with allergies other than a slight contact reaction to tomatoes which we avoid.

My LO only has a couple of patches of ecezma on his arms and behind his knees buts it definitly worse in winter when we have heating on

Im glad Naet is working well for you.

Omg that wait is terrible, are you going to avoid kiwi until then?

Kiwi and shellfish, because hubby thinks there was shellfish in the dressing...I don't know...I ate the dressing that night, and I am allergic to shellfish, and there was no reaction from me...but to be sure, that is what we are doing...and his childcare can't have kiwi in the whole building, as per their policy...oops
